If you swap deck issues for drainage issues, that sounds like my house!

Although not sure if reprint is a typo?

oops - yep repaint. Although word through someone I know if whole street will help as current colour so offensive. $25K total to sort out all issues inc repaint. Then we would have kitchen etc. to sort inside and deck to sort.

WhatSheSaid · 23/01/2013 18:30

So have you decided whether to go for a pre-auction offer lollystix.

AngryBeaver · 24/01/2013 01:07

Sorry frick, had connection issues

vvviola really sorry to hear that.
Also, completely understand how you feel about the visitors. My gran used to say "Lovely to see them arrive, lovely to see them go!" about sums it up. And, YY to the extra expense. We just couldn't do it.

Exciting lolly. I think I would make an offer, but I'm a bit impulsive and not very good at playing the long game!

frikonastick · 24/01/2013 03:36

i say go for it lolly, i mean, the worst thing that can happen is that you dont get it, right?

lollystix · 24/01/2013 03:59

You - impulsive AB - never!

AngryBeaver · 24/01/2013 08:05

How very dare you, lolly? What has made you form that opinion! Grin

Have just mentioned to vviola that I will be in Auckland on Fri pm, whilst dh goes into the office at the harbour (on the 13th floor). If anyone is free and would like to meet me for a flat white or hard liquor that would be nice Smile
(understand 'tis vey short notice)

If you want somewhere outdoors the international buskers festival starts today at the Wynyard Quarter, nice on a sunny day, www.silopark.co.nz/Home/Whats-on.aspx?ID=112&Title=Auckland%20International%20Buskers%20Festival&SortBy=Future&category=WynyardQuarter&DontShow=Hide
And Silo Park next to it has a good little playground for kids

Am so jealous - hope you all had a lovely time. My Dad had gone off to use his Xmas present (a trip on the America's cup boat), so Mum & I did a bit of a blitz on the house. Necessary but not exactly fun.

How was Waiheke, AB?

Hey all.

Sorry about your family's loss vvv

High tea sounds lovely justa Glad you enjoyed it.

We already have people contacting is saying "oh, we'll be out there in xyz to see you all" and I'm thinking "yeah, bet you will be now we live in NZ, never bothered when we lived in UK"

Loving not having a tv. I recommend it. Evenings have been so lovely and anything we do want to watch we use the comp and use catch up tv.

Anyone been to Long Bay? We've been there a lot recently. Great park, lots to discover, loads of grassy picnic areas and the beach. Was there today and thinking maybe we could do a meet up there. Pack a picnic and what have you?

Been busy on Blipfoto the last few days. Think I'm becoming a bit addicted.
