Arrgh, had to start a new thread!

Yes,you can get more land in Tauranga. Well, somewhere like Omokoroa or somewhere.Wouldn't want to live much closer than that. And I woulkdn't want to live at he Mount. Lovely as it is. Too touristy, imo.
We would like enough land for a pool (eventually) maybe a sleepout and still enough for a veggie patch and garden for kids. Don't neeed acres +. Wouldn't say no though,if we could afford it! Be nice to have a few sheep or something/

I think Mum would have to fly to Tauranga. So that would be
Manchester-London,London-Singapore, Singapore-Aukland,Aukland- Tauranga
Bad.

justa howws the back? Hope physio was a help,we may have driven past you!
Your house sounds great.
My mums friend lives in Silverdale. She has about an acre with some sheep etc
Wasn't overly impressed at but didn't give it a proper look I suppose, just stopped to buy flowers for Mums friend! Always worth another look

Oh and noise control, I believe 10pm is the magical hour at which you can get them told off.

lollystix · 13/10/2012 11:58

Ladies - woman in bra shop was amazeballs - ex m&s fitter from uk and then bendon lady - she inferred bendon bit rubbish and said not so supportive as was M&S if u were beyond 34b. . Ah bra does look comfy though but I'm 30G and struggling a bit in this country.I do look at them but think they wouldn't work for me.

I am bad. I have been out drinking for a birthday dinner and it's almost midnight and I am home eating DS4's birthday cake. And I have to run 20km at 7am with another friend. This is not a good situation is it? and this bloody weather bomb is kicking off around the house too.

frikonastick · 13/10/2012 12:19

Congrats on the hose AB, that's great. What's a weather bomb? Cake at midnight sounds perfect actually!

thelittlestkiwi · 13/10/2012 13:52

Should I be worried about our house lolly?

WhatSheSaid · 13/10/2012 17:49

"weather bomb" was just, um, some rain and very strong winds. Also known as a storm.

We had a fire engine out down our street and the entrance to the street closed off but I don't know why, must have been a branch or a power line or something.

AngryBeaver · 13/10/2012 21:00

You're a better woman than I lolly.. I couldn't go out and come in at midnight (too sleepy!) or run20k!!!

Noise control you can call at any time day or night if the noise is unreasonable. I think if its before 10 or 11pm they ask you to call back 20 mins later if the noise is still going on.
You can always call and speak to them for advice anyway :)

WhatSheSaid · 13/10/2012 21:23

I was just thinking that about lolly - 4dcs and works and runs 20km at 7am! I'm proud of myself if I walk to kindy!

lolly where's the bra shop in auckland. Bendon don't sell anything in my size and I still order from the UK, desperately need a new sports bra too.

Hey, good news AB sending positive vibes your way. Lots has been happening since I last logged on. work is stupidly manic and I'm doing my first jury trial in NZ tomorrow and am feeling ever so slightly yuk ....

lollystix · 14/10/2012 08:10

Shels - that sounds scary. Are you nervous?

So 20k run sort of turned into 10k. I had thick head and running friend had got in front work at 4.30am so was naturally knackered. Means I have to do big run this week but god knows when I'll fit that in.

New running bra was fab - good old panache (and it had wires). Shop is called Avakado and it's Nuffield street (opposite witchery and along a bit). Amazing service and pingu on TV for the kids.

Ds2 had his first party all by himself without DS1 being main guest. So proud and the kid who was the birthday boy was no. 3 of 4 boys so I felt quite at home.

xMinerva · 14/10/2012 08:32

Just popping head in quickly to ask if we're still on for tomorrow?

10am Windsor Park?

How will I know who you are? Or should I just wave toothpaste and wait for someone to come running? Grin

AngryBeaver · 14/10/2012 08:34

I knew I had missed someone out! longwhitecloud, sorry you are feeling low. Hope you are feeling a bit perkier now?
Speaking of perkier...new sports scaffolding bra sounds good lolly. And I'm amazed you even got 10k in! I wish I could run. I am so gammy though.
Good luck shels That does sound pretty scary! I'm sure you're well prepared though? Are you feeling yuk, sick, or yuk, squeaky pants??!

I'll be gate crashing the toothpaste handover there too. Also dark hair, glasses & I'll probably be chasing a little crawling whirlwind around the place Grin

AngryBeaver · 14/10/2012 09:59

I wonder how long it will take you to stop calling each other by your MN names?!Grin

longwhitecloud · 14/10/2012 10:20

Thanks AB feeling a bit better therapeutic drinking. The weather has picked up a bit, amazing what some sunshine can do, so sick of grey skies and bloody rain!

lolly you do indeed sound like superwoman. I would love to take up running.

Have a lovely meet up everyone!

shelscrape · 14/10/2012 10:24

Have a lovely time meeting up everyone.

I feel yuk squeaky pants at the moment ... watch out for new headline tomorrow .... "Crown prosecutor squeaks her pants in Court" it will be me Blush

AngryBeaver · 14/10/2012 10:44

Good longwhitecloud glad to hear it!

shels as long as you don't shart!

OP posts:
lollystix · 14/10/2012 11:00

Longwhite - I am far from superwoman - you should see the state of my house - and my kids by 9am there is jam and snot everywhere and I've given up bothering tbh. I am really quite disorganised. Nothing to stop you running - I'm the most unlikely candidate when you look at me. Just buy some trainers and set yourself a 5km goal. It's addictive.

Shels - good luck. What do you actually have to do?

shelscrape · 14/10/2012 11:13

Yes, anyone can run. I'm a runner to lolly, bit of a plodder really bit I try and do two half marathons a year. Anyone can do it, just start out with a bit of brisk walking and add a bit of a jog/run here and there and build it up slowly and before you know it you can run 10k Grin I love it, gives me valuable head space

I'm prosecuting a drugs trial and am shit scared I'm going to lapse back into English criminal law, feels like the night before my uni finals ...

shelscrape · 14/10/2012 11:14

God my typings crap " runner too" .....
