Do you give birth at the same time of day roughly?

I think I'm a mid-morning person before active labour establishes itself.

I wonder whether the sex of the babies have anything to do with it as well?

First two were born early evening on Saturday. Last one was early am Saturday. I maintain that if they hadn't nagged me about induction when my waters broke I wouldn't have had to walk that baby out of me so early - and he's have been early evening too.

i only have two,
ds born at teatime,
dd born at breakfast time.
But I started labour at the same time with both dcs

PinkPoinsettias · 30/12/2008 14:39

dd; days of twinges, got regular at 9pm, had her 14.53 the next day

ds; woke up with regular contractions at 6am, had him at 23.47 that night

so about as differant as it's possible to get as with dd i was labouring through the night whereas with ds it was through the day.

Not for me.

DD1 5:33am - a rather drawn-out all night affair
DD2 11:55pm - started about tea time
DS 10:00pm - on and off all day, kicking in about 4pm
DD3 11:56am - twinges from 7am, proper contractions from 9am.

But the bit I am most proud of is that the days they were born go in order from Mon-Thurs. Will be most annoyed if number 5 appears on any other day than a Friday!

Yes, start labour around 5-6 am, all over by 9-10 am, usually magically on a day when DH happens to be nearby anyway.
