I think I'm a mid-morning person before active labour establishes itself.

I wonder whether the sex of the babies have anything to do with it as well?

Well first 2 were sections so tht doesn't count.

Normal brths were

4.30am
7.25 am
7.22am
4.21pm
So it seems to ne the mins that are more important than the hours

ds1 8pm-ish
dd1 8pm-ish
ds2 7am!

I have only 3 so am not a large family but each of them started first twinges at midnight.

Quite handy really because apart from dd1, I had a normal night's sleep before they were born and was in bed for a decent time after each birth!

yes - all girls and all born between 7 and 8 in the morning

Both my first two were born around the 2.30 in the morning mark. dd was a crash section so ruled out. I'm intrigued now to see what this one does.
My second labour was shorter than my first by a lot so I went into labour at completely different times.

Yes-ish! Early labour in the morning, (earliest was 5.30am), gradual build up during the day, pretty intense in the evening, then born between 9pm and 1am. Then back to bed. Likewise didn't miss a night's sleep!!!

I dont have a large family but thought this interesting. With both sons went into labour at 2am. Ds1 born after two and half hours pushing via emergency section at 7.36pm (so if wasnt well and truly struck may of been born a little earlier). ds2 yanked out at 8.37pm
