I have 5-

Good lord - how do you all cope with so many pregancies?? I'm on my 2nd and did want 3 but am positively dying with this one. I am seriously wondering how you mange to do it 4, 5, 6 or more times..... were they all easy ones or something????

in rl, we are amongst the largest families around. we have three children.
i know of two familes with five kids, but the are seen as almost, but not quite abnormal.
i sometimes want to laugh when i hear about people complaining about getting something done when they have one child, and one baby! and how hard it is!

Putthat-Mine were definitely not all easy pregnancies! I had pre-eclampsia with DS1; DS3 was born at 32 weeks after premature rupture of membranes; DS4 was born at 34 weeks for the same reason. I had all kinds of problems with DS5, the main one being that my platelet level dropped to dangerous levels and I was in and out of hospital with that. But I still loved being pregnant!

I have 4, and 33 weeks pg with number 5.

Only DS2 is still living at home currently - the space and peace are blissful

i am more the footie team variety ( sigh)

Daughters play football too

and is no-one worried about global warming- I've just heard the best thing we can do to combact the end of the planet is stick to 2 kids each and it does make sense

Brave post, EmmaKn. I have only 2 kids but would love another. DH says we are too old at 40 and 44. There must be a few older mums and dads out there especially with some of the large age gaps.

I have had 6 children and have a dss. Am too old for any more..... probably!

I have 4 and won't be having anymore Unless of course the vasectomy fails (lives in hope)

Hi I am new here, I have 8 children and would love more. I have 1 girl she was first and then 7 boys their ages are 13, 11, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2 and 28 weeks old

I have 2 of my own, 5 steps (3 live full time - ages 8, two at 12, 15 and 16).

How do you all afford so many children? It must cost an absolute fortune. I struggle to pay for my two let alone eight or nine!
