Hello,

I have 2 very young children and will soon have my third.

Can you please give me realistic advice on how to tackle on my own 3 lots of homework in the afternoons?

Is it feasible? I am sure it is but how do you do it? What age combination was the hardest?

What is your set up?

For example, how you manage homework for a Year 2, Year 4 and Year 6 kid? Or a toddler but Year 1 and Year 3?

Our age gaps between them all is 2 years!

It's their homework, not yours. Sit them down to get on with it, you do something quietly nearby. My memories of homework are of Mum doing the ironing across the room.

With one DC doing SATS, one doing GCSEs and one A levels at the moment I don’t think toddler and primary ages need to be the worry. Stress levels in our house right now are ridiculous, I spend hours a night counselling them all and dealing with the meltdowns. Easily still doing and sorting homework at 11.30pm, easily. And the projects, portfolios, and endless expense…

1/10, would not recommend. Bring back world book day and the reading record. Oh no wait, I still have to do that too. Wise to have them close together OP. Three lots of Oompa Loompa costumes and done.
