I've name changed since I don't want people in RL to know.

I've just done a test, well 2 tests :o , and there's no mistaking the BFP.

Dc4 is only 7 months old, but this was very much wanted and planned.

My family will think I'm mad, there'll be lots of "oops" and "how will you cope?"

But we will cope just brilliantly. I'm feeling all glowy, not at all sick or tired (makes a change), and so very happy. Dh has just had good news at work, so money is not an issue luckily.

So since RL won't really be jumping with joy, can I have a :o here?

:o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o

:o I'm glad people have been nice. Hopefully we won't have too many shocked expressions here :)

When it's just me,dh and the dcs, that's when it's best.

Congrats!

Teabiscuits · 11/06/2014 01:07

Congrats Grin . Im 27 weeks with number 4 (which I have to admit was an accident a surprise) and I was really worried about peoples reactions when we told them but by and large it has been very positive.

There will be 14 months between my youngest two - but we will manage just fine as I'm sure you will!

Although I am suffering with the old pregnancy insomnia...

Claire129 · 15/07/2014 23:02

Hi congratulations, I think I may be pregnant with number 5. I feel preggers and I'm a week late but daren't do a test. I'm really scared what my family and friends will think of me and when I was preggers with dd4 they all thought I was crazy so what will they say this time. My dh is thrilled but I. So worried but if I am preggers this baby will be very much wanted. Love how happy you sound and made me feel a little better xxx

MrsExtraOrdinary · 11/08/2014 16:05

I know this feeling very well, so as a mum of 5dc and a step mum of 5 more, while trying to conceive number 11, let me give you my hearty congratulations! Your life is just that, yours!!! I also haven't mentioned ttc to my mother she's quite scary Grin

becks5 · 14/08/2014 14:17

Many congratulations Grin I've got 5 ranging from 9 to 14 :o) Number 4 was only 3mths old when I found out! Regularly had 3 in nappies at a time as they're all so close in age. Also experienced a few negative comments and lack of excitement as each of them came along ..... there's never a dull moment and they keep each other company and are all great friends. Hope it all goes swimmingly for you x

I'm normally a lurker, but such a lovely thread made me want to join in! Congrats Famous :-D I'm 32 weeks with dc5, have 4 under 4. Its interestingly chaotic! Lovely to hear other people who like to buck the trend a little! Enjoy pregnancy, i'm struggling now toward the end but getting there!

crazylady321 · 03/09/2014 22:55

Congratulations also on my 5th (have a set of twins so 4th really). Had lots of negative comments off my family and lots of sarcastic comments at first but think everyone is deep down happy for us. Its deffinately my last

Puppydogstails1 · 14/09/2014 22:39

Congratulations!!! how exciting for you all!

TheFamousFive · 13/10/2014 15:45

This dropped off my active list, so I missed the later congratulations :o

Thank you all so much!

We have now started telling people (it's more than a little bit obvious!) and so far the most common reaction has been:-

"bloody hell!"

"I'm not sure I ever said congratulations! Sorry, congratulations!"

:o

So not too bad so far.

The dcs are all very excited, and that's the main thing!

Congratulations.

I've also name changed for the same reason - BFP #5... Gulp!

kellyandthecat · 02/11/2014 14:06

Many congratulations to you OP! 5 was the magic number for us; now they are all teenagers and running us ragged (not that they weren't running us ragged before!) but I couldn't imagine life without my barmy army.

NAR4 · 04/11/2014 11:05

How is the pregnancy going with such a little one to look after?
