I've name changed since I don't want people in RL to know.

I've just done a test, well 2 tests :o , and there's no mistaking the BFP.

Dc4 is only 7 months old, but this was very much wanted and planned.

My family will think I'm mad, there'll be lots of "oops" and "how will you cope?"

But we will cope just brilliantly. I'm feeling all glowy, not at all sick or tired (makes a change), and so very happy. Dh has just had good news at work, so money is not an issue luckily.

So since RL won't really be jumping with joy, can I have a :o here?

It really hasn't sunk in yet. I'm trying to remind myself of all the things I shouldn't have, and what I should do.

I'm going to have 2 in nappies for the first time ever. Who knew you could face new trials with number 5.

I said to dh last night, "you'll have the snip after this one, right?"

And he said, "what if we want another?"

I am PG with #4 and can count the genuinely excited and sincere 'congratulations' that we have received on one hand so I know what you mean (I even had one comment of 'so, er, it take it this one was planned then...').

Congratulations. I have 5 and it's super they are all aged 3-7 so very close in age. I actually had 4 in nappies at one point!

Hugh congrats Famous xxxx My DC5 was such a lovely experience and his older siblings (age range 17 to 6) quite literally think the sun, moon and stars originate from him. It is lovely having such a big happy family.

I had the snip discussion, but sadly we just miscarried DC6 (very early in pregnancy).... We were quite excited at the thought, so I reckon we'll finish out on a nice even no.6!

Massive congratulations!! I'm 19 weeks pregnant with dc4 and dc3 is 8 months everyone's reaction has been Luke warm to say the least! But sod em I'm happy and I'm glad you are too! :)

Congratulations!! My DD1 was DC5 and is much loved by all of us and its such fun having 5 kids, i love it!! Pretty certain we are now done as i don't think i could do another pregnancy but yay for you!!

Fuzzy, I'm pretty sure my body is going to collapse after this one! I just love having a huge family. They make me very happy.

Murtle, I come from a medium sized family. There do seem to be a few bigger families around here, but most have 2 dcs. I feel like I've fallen in to ending up with so many. I never had a figure in mind, it just felt right and was financially viable to go on and have another. Had you told me 10 years ago that I'd have 5, I would have thought you were mad :o

DH is one of six and one of his brothers has five ranging from 3y-12y, so nothing unusual to me!

Big families are lovely.

Congrats my pregnant with baby number five turned out to be my three month old twins. We have had plenty of how will you cope but we do and it's great. Am happy for you.

Soontobe, dh has already been joking about twins (there are twins on both sides). Congratulations! I think poll can focus on the hard work, and forget the enormous rewards. Being surrounded by family is my idea of heaven.

Elquinto, I just hope my lot continue to get on so well. I think it's one advantage of big families, that there's always someone to play with. No one ever seems to get left out.

99% of people have had nice things to say which suprised me but I do get a lot of comments about how I must want a boy as I have 4 dds.
