February FET 2026

Thought I’d set up a chat for anyone due to have a FET in February 2026 😊

We’re doing ICSI due to severe MFI. We are doing our third transfer next month after a failed fresh and chemical from a FET. This is also our last embryo before having to start allllll over again 🫠 my period arrived later this afternoon so tomorrow is my CD1 then full steam ahead. This time I’m doing a modified natural (adding in a trigger), adding in clexane and the same as last time having Lubion and Cyclogest.

Is anyone else on a similar timeline? We could trauma bond over the turmoil we’re about to put ourselves through 😂

@Klmno Because I'm going to test tomorrow (at 6dpt which is probably too early) - can you tell us about the test? What brand did you use? How quick did you see a line? I'm so excited for you :D

Klmno · 07/02/2026 09:41

Thank you!
Yes 7dp5dt. Just did a digital as don't want to overthink line darkness, but will do a line test on Monday which would be equivalent of missed period day.

Klmno · 07/02/2026 09:42

Sorry @badjeans didn't see your post, it was digital clearblue ultra early

MocktailMe · 07/02/2026 12:09

Massive massive congratulations on the successful transfers!!!!

I'm feeling a bit shell shocked today. I have been waiting for my period to begin my FET cycle and so I took a test this morning just to be sure and it's faintly positive. I've got a history of ectopic and very very high risk for another so I'm mostly terrified, and is it crazy to say annoyed at myself for not being more careful? There's still ectopic risk with IVF so it wouldn't have ruled out the worry but I feel very worried now.

Not sure exactly when I ovulated but I think it's from sex I had 12 days ago. So a bit worrying that it's faint. I understand if people would rather I found a different thread as this is a bit out of the blue.

Hi everyone, looking to join you all for February FETs :). Very best wishes to everyone who's transferred or will be soon!

I'm currently preparing for my first FET following a freeze all cycle. We only got one embryo so hoping for the best, whilst mentally preparing for round 2.

I wondered if anyone under the NHS has any experience of a couple of things (though I know all clinics do things differently!) Firstly, were you weighed at either the monitoring scan or on the day of transfer itself? I was asked my height and weight by email on day 1 of my bleed, and instructed to start taking the estrogen tablets. My scan is Tuesday and my weight has since fluctuated so that my BMI is just over 30, so panicking a bit that they might just cancel the cycle. Having a few days of not much food and a lot of walking to try and get back under just in case, probably not good for me at all at this stage, but such as life with the NHS rigid criteria!

Secondly, did your clinic do a progesterone blood test before transfer to check levels were ok? I'm keen to ask for this, just as one thing to hopefully address if need be to give us the best chance, but I'm preparing myself for a firm no.

Thanks in advance for any advice ladies, and best wishes again to you all on this rollercoaster nobody wants to be on!

Klmno · 07/02/2026 19:01

Oh my goodness @MocktailMe what a shock, I don't know much about ectopic pregnancies, I really hope you don't have another one, would you be able to get an early scan at an EPU or is it a case of waiting it out? Fingers crossed you won't have to go through the IVF after all!!

@PinkCat123 I'm doing my IVF private but I'm in the Facebook support group for the NHS clinic we were on the waiting list for, this question is asked a lot and most people reply they were only weighed at initial investigations. Once funding is secured I don't think you get weighed. I think it would be unethical of them to make you mess with your hormones and start the process and then cancel your cycle?
I had a progesterone blood test when I went for a follicle count scan the day before trigger. Never knew what the result was as I ended up needing a freeze all. My progesterone wasn't tested for my natural modified FETs, I just had a lining scan around ovulation and then was told to start the pessaries the day after ovulation. Hope that helps.
This question also crops up a lot on the NHS FB group I'm in, and the clinic seems pretty against testing it so people have paid for it xx

badjeans · 07/02/2026 19:08

@PinkCat123I’ve only done private not nhs but i understand it’s usually just the one weigh in at the start, so you should be fine!

my (new) did a progesterone test on transfer and my levels were high if anything but they were happy. I was glad they tested because old clinic just kept throwing more and more progesterone at me with each failure, but hadn’t tested. It’s nice to only be on one pessary twice a day.

ali2021 · 07/02/2026 22:32

@Klmno huge congratulations!!! What gorgeous news 💓 Best of luck tomorrow, @badjeans x

21RsMama · 07/02/2026 22:40

That's amazing @MocktailMe ✨✨✨ I always hear stories like this, so beautiful ❤️

@badjeans good luck tomorrow ❤️🤞🏼

MocktailMe · 07/02/2026 22:43

Right now I'm just so scared it will be another ectopic I can't even process it loss really robs you of any early pregnancy joy :(

I hope this is my miracle though.

I'm a bit nervous to tell the clinic incase it all comes to nothing. I've got loads of progesterone in the house, would anyone take it in my shoes?

PlanBFertility26 · 07/02/2026 23:02

@MocktailMe massive tentative congratulations. I can understand your fears. Infertility really does rob us of the normal joy.

could you do a private progesterone test to see if needed?

badjeans · 08/02/2026 06:21

@MocktailMei think I probably would add progesterone in your position, at least for a few days while you wait and see… I so hope it works out for you!

Decided not to test this morning - 6dpt feels like it would be so faint and we have a really busy morning ahead so going to wait for a more chilled one tomorow.

badjeans · 08/02/2026 21:08

BFN tonight at 6dp5dt. Looking back on my suspected ectopic it was first positive at day 10 but the normal chemical was first positive at 6dpt. So feeling pretty discouraged.

I'm so sorry, it's just a horrible road to be on! I hope it's just a later implantation and the BFP comes 🤞🏼

RavenWillow · 08/02/2026 21:48

@PinkCat123 I'm NHS funded and was only weighed prior to clinic and then I believe maybe initial visit to the clinic and then just before egg retrieval but I think that was for sedation meds measurement.
The progesterone I was tested the day before my transfer and was given the results on the transfer day to say that no extra progesterone needed to be added to my protocol as their was a plan depending on the level. Hope that helps.

FET2026 · 09/02/2026 05:41

Tested day 5p5dpt - on clear blue FRER - negative
Tested day 8pdpt - cheap stick test - negative

I am out but official test date is Friday.

MocktailMe · 09/02/2026 07:11

@FET2026 I'm sorry to hear that :(

@badjeans I would start to protect your heart here but you aren't out yet I have everything crossed for you for the next 48 hours x

PlanBFertility26 · 09/02/2026 07:14

So sorry to hear of all the BFNs. Truly heartbreaking.

Currently sat on train on way to London (from Stafford) for my first scan this FET

badjeans · 09/02/2026 07:25

Started bleeding today 7dp5dt - that’s me gone. All the best of luck to everyone, really hope you get some great results!!

ali2021 · 09/02/2026 07:53

@FET2026 and @badjeans - I am so sorry to hear this. Hope you are both doing ok and have something positive to look forward this week. ❤️I am fairly sure I am heading in the same direction unfortunately with lots of lower back cramping, which has been a bad sign the past tw transfers.

Sunnydaysahead1 · 09/02/2026 07:54

I’m so sorry @badjeans and @FET2026 it’s so painfully unfair. Sending you both hugs, be extra kind to yourselves and I wish you both all the best with your next steps ❤️

@badjeans was your progesterone tested before your transfer? I’m just wondering as I’m surprised the progesterone didn’t hold your period off, perhaps you might need a bit more if you do another transfer? Just a thought xx

badjeans · 09/02/2026 08:00

@Sunnydaysahead1Yes it was tested on transfer day, the clinic said it was perfect and when I googled I thought it anything it’s a bit high. On my other transfers it’s not started until 11dp5dt so this is early. But I think it’s too optimistic to hope it’s anything other that the start of a period, given the bfn as well.

Sorry to hear @badjeans - solidarity

FET2026 · 09/02/2026 08:40

Thanks so much folks - I’ve had the luxury
of both positives and negatives before - so the highs and lows have levelled out somewhat.

The other path is looked at wistfully but we keep moving forwards.

Delighted for those positive on the thread and for the positives to come.
