Morning ladies 🩷 I apologise if this is insensitive but I’ve had positives this morning and yesterday. However I’m only 7dp5dt (yesterday) and 8dp5dt (today) and 14 days past my Ovitrelle trigger so I was/am anxious it could be remaining trigger shot in my system because I didn’t test it out. There’s not much I can do but keep testing and hoping, I will update here either way if it’s okay with you all? Thank you for starting this thread ive found it really helpful. And I’m so sorry this journey is so hard :(

Congrats @Hopeandfaith1990 💕 fingers crossed for you!! I like to hear good news as it helps me believe there is hope!

My head is mince. I took a frer this morning (11dpt) thinking I would be confirming a negative and it's positive. It's more like the positive on frer I've seen people posting at around 8dpt so I do feel ill about it. I had been using wondfo and it was always a slow progressing but not a 'wow that's positive' more like a oh that's positive but hmm it could be darker... So now I'm freaking out again.

Thank you @21RsMama gentle congratulations to you too - I know it’s difficult not to obsess over lines but the main thing is you have one - did you test on a frer yesterday? Hoping it darkens for you xx

No I tested on one like 3 days ago and it was a squinter. Who knows I guess only time will tell.

Congrats @Hopeandfaith1990 ! It is nice to hear good news. I know triggers can be different for everyone but if it helps I tested mine out, it was completely gone by 5dpt, and the faintest of squinters at 4dpt, so if you've got reasonable lines I would take that as a positive! Hoping they continue to darken nicely.

And @21RsMama what a rollercoaster but I think you have every reason to be optimistic, when is your official test day? Will you be having a beta? Everything crossed for you!

I decided not to take my progesterone yesterday morning and then started my period a few hours later so I think it was on the way already. Treated myself to a glass of wine. Will call the clinic on Tuesday to make a plan going forward.

I actually don't think my clinic do the beta tests. I could be wrong but I'm sure they just ask for a call to confirm if positive or negative then book you a scan for 7 weeks. I'll ask when I call though obviously but it seems odd they have never mentioned a beta to me.

I'm sorry this cycle hasn't worked for you, it is really is so hard. Xx

Thank you @hollyhd for the well wishes and info on your trigger, that is helpful. What are your next steps? Do you have more in the freezer? I’m so sorry it didn’t work out for you this time xxxx

Emerald1986 · 16/11/2025 15:51

Congrats @hopeandfaith1990 And fingers crossed for you @21RsMama!

Im still testing negative but also not started my period (although cycle isnt always regular and am currently at Cd31). Clinic advised testing again tomorrow and if its still negative to stop medication as that'll be 11dp5dt and we can presume an unsuccessful transfer.

Onwards and upwards though - as it was our only frozen embryo im assuming we will restart in the new year with a fresh cycle

Thankfully we do have another embryo from this round frozen so FET will be the next step. This is our 3rd failed transfer so not sure if theres anything else that can be tried.

Hopeandfaith1990 · 16/11/2025 19:04

@Emerald1986 thank you!

Sorry you're still negative :-( wishing you so much luck for the next collection and transfer.

@hollyhd Have your other transfers been fresh? Have you had your levels checked pre-transfer? My clinic were against this, I had to pretty much beg them but they did it eventually. I've had one failed transfer and a history of recurrent miscarriage so I was trying to push as much as a I can. Sending you so much luck for the next one xx

@Hopeandfaith1990 that's good you pushed for checks! I've had 7 MCs and I worry IVF will help me make embryos but what if the issue is with the environment they are going into but ive no idea what to even check?

Hi @Hopeandfaith1990 , what levels are you referring to? So glad you got positive, sounds like the pushing paid off.

My previous transfers were frozen, this was my first fresh transfer. I had a successful FET in 2022 so I know my body can do it. Maybe I'm just a bit old now.

Hopeandfaith1990 · 17/11/2025 09:27

@21RsMama you could ask for a hysteroscopy on the NHS, if you elect for it under general anesthesia the wait won’t be as long. If you’re happy to wait you can have it under local. Hydreroscopy checks for endometriosis and endometritis, cancerous cells, any cysts or adhesions etc. I also looked into the ERA test but as my hysteroscopy did a biopsy I thought I’d do that first and see how it went from then.

Are you under recurrent miscarriage on NHS? Do they have you on a good medication protocol? so Sorry you’ve had 7 :-(

@hollyhd I tested progesterone on the day before transfer (and it was low so I added more) and thyroid the week of. I’m conscious of my thyroid because my mum has Hashimotos which can be hereditary so I get it checked quite often. I wanted to test for estrogen levels too but they said no to that lol.

Anecdotally I feel I hear more successful stories of FETs and especially natural modified FET. Could you try and emulate what you did for your successful FET in 2022 for your next one now?
