Frozen Embryo finally transferred

I had my embryo transferred yesterday and now I’m on the TWW which I will be suprised if I don’t lose my sanity by then. 😄 I’d like to know if anyone that hasn’t got the patience of saint like me tested early? And if so how many days early?

I dont usually test too early as for me personally it messes with my head but sometimes il test at around 9dpt but one time at 9pm at night i did a hpt at 4dp5dt and to my surprise it was positive, I had a natural fet so no trigger at that time so it was a real positive and that pregnancy went on to be a success and she is currently sitting in my lap and almost 2yr old. But honestly would never do it again, I was on edge the entire time and decided at 6dpt to put the test away.

Also forgot to add that i also had my fet yesterday at 11am . So today is 1dpt.

Miraclemuma03 Awwwwww that’s great that everything worked out for you with your embryo transfer. I’d like to try and wait towards the end of this TWW I’m on medicated FET so the medication could give me a false positive which would be awful and as you said yourself that would definitely mess with my head.

I had the trigger shot also so testing too early and getting a positive could be false.

Yeah that’s what scared of a false positive and getting my hopes up for nothing plus I’m on two types of progesterone. Oh wow so it’s early days for you too.

Yeah currently 2dpt with a day 6 embryo so thinking we could be on the same timeline.

miraclemuma03 yeah that’s right I’m 4dpt now I just hope the rest of this time goes quick.

So a couple of days ahead. Its hard to keep up with people's time lines as im in Australia so our days are off. Its night here in aus or something when its day there in the UK.

yeah the time differences between Australia and the UK are confusing. and isn’t it summer in Australia right now? England is definitely approaching winter now.

Yes we are approaching summer and the days are so hot already. We are just coming through some severe storms the last couple days. Think by Sunday we should be through them. Though where I am today in qld its sunny and quiet warm.

I’d love that I love the sun it’s definitely opposite getting colder and darker earlier here iv never liked the winter.

I have just reached 4dp5dt . Are you now 6dpt? Have you decided if your testing or holding out?

Hi guys, can I join the chat? I had my first FET on 31/10 and I’m now on day 2. I’ve never made it here before!

I had my FET under sedation and woke up feeling dandy. I had a few cramps Friday evening and Saturday afternoon, but otherwise am feeling fine. I cannot stop peeing, I’ve already peed 6 times tonight and I’m just about to get up to go again. I was having this issue pre FET which I think is due to hormones but it has intensified tonight and I’m not loving it!

I have felt it in my bones that this isn’t going to work so I had already resided to that fact, but it’s so hard to not entertain the notion that it could work and that’s tricky because if you start imagining it then it will be harder when it doesn’t.

I has just accepted that I was going to wait until test day but I’ve already found it a struggle. My husband also has a work trip when I am due to test so I need to do it alone, which is quite sad.

Hope you two are getting on okay.

@Ubergood hi, congrats on being pupo. Progesterone has huge amounts of side effects and peeing alot is one of them as your thirst increases. It also has all the pregnancy and pre period symptoms. You can even get numbing of the hands and feet or parts of. Progesterone is crazy.

I was sooooo tempted to just go and rest right now on my 99th pee of the day but you’ve inspired me to not test. I was just reading all these forums trying to convince myself it was worth testing now. Why are you kicking yourself?

Ive been on progesterone before and I’ve never had this peeing issue! I’ve had full insomnia, didn’t sleep a wink one night, I’ve had fatigue, bloating, constipation but never peeing. I’ve not even drank a sip yet today and I’ve already peed four times. It’s insane

@Ubergood im kicking myself because I knew it would be too early to test and because of that I didnt get a clear yes or no answer. My test was technically positive but so faint it barely picks up on photo and now im left wondering what it means and if my transferred worked or not.

Progesterone builds fluid and bloating throughout the body and its only release is urinating or sweating a great deal hahah also from knowledge it stimulates the bladder so thats always a fun fact.

This is why the 2WW is so frustrating! A total lack of clarity and no clear answers either way. I’ve sortve convinced myself to wait because of reading lots of people had chemical pregnancies and I feel like that would be too tough to have a positive and then a negative.

I am convinced all my symptoms are progesterone I’m just not a fan of the peeing. I could do without it! I’ve already got a lot on my plate without needing to urgently find a toilet every 30mins!

I take it you didn’t have any trigger shots or anything that could’ve given a false positive? How many days post transfer are you? A faint positive is hopeful! Keep us posted and sending lots of love. Hopefully yours turns into a strong positive!

@Ubergood i was adamant i was waiting to test for all the same reasons but when I went up the womans health isle I stood there looking at the tests for a good 20mins and then took one . I regret it now of course.
I had a trigger shot but that was 10 days ago so tests should show negative at this point but now we have to wait and see.

My symptoms are also from progesterone as iv had the symptoms from day 2 of starting them.

Aww I am right there with you. I can get off my high horse to inform you I also tested earlier 😂 ridiculously so as it was impossible for it show anything but I couldn’t resist. Adamant I won’t any longer though! How long until your official test date?

@Ubergood oohhh nnoooo how many days past transfer where you when you tested?
My official test day is the 11th . Feels so far away.

Miraclemuma03 sorry i haven’t had a chance to get on here the past few days, that’s right I’m currently 8dpt right now knowing me i wont hold out to be honest been feeling some stuff thats been going on but im on two doses of progesterone daily so im putting it down to that.

Ubergood hi it’s nice to meet you. I wish I was sedated for my FET the catheter going into my cervix hurt! Iv been cramping since iv had it done.

Ohh sorry to hear that @Krystalrose55, it’s the worst! I’m baffled by people who don’t find it an issue.

I had a pretty bad experience with a saline sonogram which was excruciating and then I had to have a hysteroscopy and they couldn’t get through the cervix and I needed to go under anaesthetic for it, so I thought it was best to do sedation. I was mostly worried that they might not be able to gain entry and it would’ve all been in vain, so I’m glad I did it. As least with me being unconscious they could use all the force they needed and I was none the wiser. I didn’t have any pain after though which makes me wonder if it was actually straightforward.

I am on day 5 now. Aside from the excessive peeing and a new development of heart palpitations which started last night, I have no other symptoms. Well, apart from being a moody bitch 😂I did have some cramping day 1 and some back pain day 4 and one incident of brown spotting yesterday. It’s impossible not to symptom spot even though it’s all the cocktail of hormones.

I know in my bones this one hasn’t worked. I can just feel it. So I’m prepped for my negative and to go again.

When is test day @Krystalrose55 ? Also @Miraclemuma03 any updates on your end?

@Ubergood those procedures sound awful to go though sedation is definitely the best way to go. that’s good hopefully all positive signs iv been symptom spotting myself and im medicated up the eyeballs. I’m feeling in a negative way myself probably a few more transfers to go yet. 12th November is my test day im trying to hold off until that day but it’s really hard.
