Hey everyone!

Thought I’d start a thread for those of us starting everything next month :)

Personally, I’m from the UK and will be starting ICSI in Ireland. Just over the BMI limit for the NHS in the UK and have been trying for c.6 years for our first. Had final tests yesterday and consult. Going with ICSI as my husband’s sperm analysis came back teratozoospermic. Other than that, nobody can find any reason we couldn’t conceive naturally, it’s just not happened!

Currently phoning up pharmacies in the UK for medication quotes (struggling to source Bemfola at the moment though). I’ll be on the short protocol and they reckon it’s likely I’ll be a freeze all as AMH and AFC came back decent. If I get get the meds in time, looking like I’ll start at the very end of this month, with egg collection next month 🤞🏼

Would love to connect with others starting around the same time ♥️ Good luck to everyone ✨

@confused2025 I had a Quick Look at some of Emma’s posts and she seems amazing! I didn’t get chance to watch the live in the end cos I was still working but I’ll defo watch out for future thanks ♥️ Yes I’ve also seen soooo many threads out there where people have said their ‘perfect’ embryos have failed and they’ve done on to have success with a ‘less than perfectly scored’ embryo. Massive good luck for the next week! ♥️🤞🏼 I won’t be transferring til probs beginning July. It will depend on when my next cycle starts because the ‘withdrawal bleed’ has knocked my cycle out of whack haha. I go on hol 15-25 June so hopefully my cycle starts while I’m away or when I come back and can get started on the oestrogen tablets ☺️

@GamerGirl09thank you. I think I might test Sunday so I am mentally prepared for the Beta test. We had a holiday before our cycle began and I think you are doing the right thing. Enjoy the holiday and get some R&R and you will be all set for the FET x

We are out so sad made it to 5 weeks again but the miscarriage hasn't occured again so will have to see what they want to do with me

VioIetMoon · 06/06/2025 15:44

@camelinastorm I'm so sorry to hear that. Sending you lots of love. Please rest easy and treat yourself . Try not to beat yourself up and keep believing. This is going to happen for you. Thats the only thing that ever got me through our 18 years of trying before we had our son, was hope

camelinastorm · 06/06/2025 15:46

They are questioning molor pregnancy so we will have to see what they will do as it may mean out for quite a while and then it will be too late 😭

confused2025 · 06/06/2025 15:46

Another BFN over here at 11dp5dt. Im really taken aback, as I felt it had worked. I have been so nauseous, headachey and exhausted since 4dpt.
This is our second long protocol FET with a euploid embryo which has failed. Our first transfer was successful. If anybody has pointers for tests which should be done to identify receptivity problems or other, please let me know❤️ Don't think I could face into another long protocol. Hoping my clinic will try something else next time around.

GamerGirl09 · 10/06/2025 00:49

@ali2021 so sorry to hear that ☹️♥️ Sorry I’m not sure about tests, this is my first time. Hopefully your clinic can advise / discuss with you and take that into consideration though ♥️🤞🏼

@ali2021so sorry to hear this. It might be worth doing the Daye diagnostic test for microbiome - it’s £129 in boots and £99 on their website + £30 nurse consultation and they give you a prescription if needed. You could also look at further immunology testing etc
