@Daniki hope you feel better soon!

@xMrsxHx87x so glad the scan went well!

A girl from the HSE funding rang me yesterday to discharge me fully and asked how everything was going. When I told them about the spotting over the weekend, she offered to bring me in for a scan tmoro so I of course jumped at the chance to see if all is ok! So I have my scan at 9.30. Does anyone else get so nervous about them, I thought I’d feel so excited but I get so anxious that they’ll find something wrong!

Daniki · 24/10/2024 12:34

@Wildflower9 totally normal! Hope all goes ok ❤️ the hosp rang me today actually and said they'll bring me in for another scan next week when I told them the spotting was increasing so thank god for that!

Mochistory · 24/10/2024 13:10

Such great milestones across the board, congratulations @xMrsxHx87x ! Apologies if I missed some of the messages.

Yesterday I've also had the viability scan as exactly like yours I've measured 6w6d and strong heartbeat. Next scan in 2weeks (at 9w) and then discharged from IVF clinic. Until then continue on Lublion, Progynova and Cyclogest passaries.

Yesterday night I had a bit of cramping, not sure if gas or something else, and today I'm less nauseous. So freaking out a bit .... I wish I could just relax but I keep thinking of worst case scenarios.

xMrsxHx87x · 24/10/2024 13:43

@Wildflower9 Yes I wasn't at all excited about today's scan either, just anxious! Hope it goes OK tomorrow.

@Mochistory my nausea is completely sporadic. I can go days without feeling it at all, sometimes it's mild, very occasionally I'm physically sick. And it's almost never in the morning, but it can strike randomly! So I wouldn't read into it too much. Good luck for your next scan in a couple of weeks.

Mochistory · 24/10/2024 13:50

Thanks @xMrsxHx87x . I guess because I felt quite ill for the entire week, barely being able to eat at all, it felt strange to wake up so much better today. Who would have guessed I could wish nausea on myself... certainly going nuts...😆

Sierra26 · 24/10/2024 19:37

Aw that’s great @xMrsxHx87x ! And @Daniki @Wildflower9 must be nice to know you have more scans on the horizon. I’m seriously considering just booking one!

@Mochistory ive had a few cramps but had always resulted in gas 😂 I’ve never had this before pregnancy! I think it’s due to increased blood flow to and general sensitivity in the whole pelvic area.

Ive got access to all my booking blood results now from yesterday, pouring over them to try analyse them myself 😂

Daniki · 24/10/2024 21:10

God the spotting has got so dark and clotty, and the cramps are ramping up, I know what's coming 😭 will see what the night brings. Sorry I am such a Debbie downer just can't believe I'm back here again 😭

YellowTack · 24/10/2024 21:26

I am so sorry @Daniki, I am thinking about you and keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Sierra26 · 24/10/2024 21:32

Ah @Daniki thinking of you and keeping everything crossed. Can you get back to EPU tomorrow?

Daniki · 24/10/2024 21:50

@Sierra26 yea I'll ring in the morning and see what they say, really hope they will take me in otherwise it will be Tuesday as it's bank holiday here on Monday 😬

Sierra26 · 25/10/2024 07:46

How are you this morning @Daniki 🙏🏻❤️

Daniki · 25/10/2024 07:53

I lost it 😣 woke up at 4 then in severe pain and was in what felt like labour for and hour and a half before I passed it finally. Just exhausted and so angry at my body now

YellowTack · 25/10/2024 08:59

I am so so sorry @Daniki, this journey is so unfair and hurtful. Sending you a virtual hug.

Don’t be angry at your body, there is nothing you have done wrong or you could have done differently.

I hope you will take some time for yourself, if I remember you are off work next week so hopefully you will have some time to rest and process.

Mochistory · 25/10/2024 09:38

I am so so sorry @Daniki . Wishing you some rest and sending healing thoughts.

Wildflower9 · 25/10/2024 10:16

@Daniki I’m so sorry. Sending you love 💕

teampacey · 25/10/2024 14:06

Oh @Daniki I am absolutely gutted for you, I am so so sorry to see this today. Sending you so much love.
Life seems so unfair xxxxx

@Daniki Im sorry to be reading this. Sending hugs 🤗

Sierra26 · 25/10/2024 15:21

Oh @Daniki im so sorry, this is heartbreaking. Take care of yourself today. When you’re ready, I hope you’re able to get some guidance on what to do next xx

xMrsxHx87x · 25/10/2024 20:38

@Daniki so so sorry to hear your sad news. You must be feeling such awful grief, but try not to be angry with your body as it's not in your control. Please look after yourself and if you're able, keep us updated on how you're doing. xxx

Daniki · 27/10/2024 09:01

Thanks everyone ❤️ doing ok, just very emotional and just a bit lost of what to do next. Have to ring the EPU on Tuesday and they will bring me in for a scan to see if I have any retained tissue etc. really hope not as I can't bare to take the medical management tablets again they are horrendous 🙃

teampacey · 28/10/2024 11:23

@Daniki I'm so sorry lovely, it's just absolutely crap. I hope all has passed and that you can spent this week relaxing and enjoying your son. You have been so positive and supportive to us all. I wish there was something we could do or say to help.

How's everyone else doing? @PurpleRayne89 how is your sickness?

I am nauseous a lot and have the most horrific taste in my mouth most of the time. I'm also craving anything cheese. Just give me all the cheese!

Mochistory · 28/10/2024 11:31

Hi @teampacey
I'm also super nauseous most times and freaking out when Im not. I think the bad constipation does not help with digestion either.
Also felt a really bad taste in mouth this morning but it went away after eating some porridge.
Mainly I'm just incredibly anxious about the ultrasound next week (week 9).
Anyone else's breasts also fluctuating in size and tenderness? I find myself checking the size every day to check if it has shrunk.
Finally, don't know if I can feel reassured about the symptoms of if it can just be the medication. I'm still under a lot of progesterone and estrogen...

Hope you are all well!

Thank you ❤️ I think we might leave doing another transfer until jan. Might try naturally again, I hit pregnant really quickly after my first miscarriage hopefully same will happen again!

xMrsxHx87x · 28/10/2024 14:07

@teampacey I'm still completely into dairy. Anything cheesy or creamy and I'm sold! I haven't had any nausea for a couple of days, not sure if that's something to be concerned about, but I have been away all weekend including a day at a wedding, so the constant eating may have put any nausea at bay (I only seen to experience it when I'm also feeling very hungry). 4 weeks until we should be having our 12 week scan, just wishing the time away for the next check so I can feel some reassurance.

Hope everyone else is doing ok.
