Final Scan Showing 2 Follicles 👎😞😪

Final scan before collection Wednesday. I have one measuring 25mm on my right ovary and 1 around 14 on my left. I have a few meaty it’s around 12-11 but they’re useless. They asked me to trigger tonight for collection Wednesday. Is there any point? Any success stories or stories in general would be appreciated. Feeling a bit shit tbf.

Yes there is every point so don't lose hope.You literally have the exact same size follicles that I had that resulted in my now 16month old beautiful girl.Follicle sizes 25mm,15mm,10mm,11mm and a 7mm.2 mature eggs collected and a double day 3 transfer.Wishing you soo much luck.xx

Hey @PurpleRayne89 hope you’re ok! I only had 2 follicles. Both fertilised, one made it to day 5 and im now almost 22 weeks pregnant. I do firmly believe that sometimes low numbers means better quality. Im pretty sure my one golden egg is the one I would have ovulated naturally tbh! Fingers crossed for you x

@HopefulllHolly Congratulations, it’s definitely a good news story. Did you have low AMH? I’m 35 with AMH of 4.

Yeah I’m 38 (I was 37 though!) and had an AMH of 3.9. With our AMHs we’ll never get a lot of eggs, but that doesn’t mean it won’t work. ☺️

@HopefulllHolly Such a scary journey huh. I’m sure your every excited. Will this be your first child?

@PurpleRayne89 Yep my first. We tried to conceive for 7 years before finally turning to IVF.

They collected 4 eggs. Fingers crossed I get a good news call tomorrow regarding fertilisation rates 🙏

@PurpleRayne89 that's great news.Will they do a 3 day transfer or only day 5?I'm due to start stimming again on Tuesday.Last cycle was cancelled, so I'll be delighted if we even get one follicle.x

@Firefly42 Only day 5. I’ll know whether to go into the clinic Monday morning. I hope your cycle goes very well for you. Do you have low AMH?

@PurpleRayne89 Thank you.Yes have extremely low amh.I had 4 follicles which I was delighted with but one of them basically took all the meds.It was a massive 30mm after 5 days of stims!So cycle was doomed after that.x

@Firefly42 Sorry to hear that. I have low AMH. The last time it was checked it was around 4. I’m 35. My last cycle I had 5 follicles but only 2 eggs were retrieved. Ended up with one blast which ended in BFN. This is my second cycle. 2 follicles, 4 eggs, 2 fertilised and I’ll get another update Monday which I’m very anxious about.

I hope you made it to transfer day and are now in your 2ww.x

@Firefly42 Thanks for your message. I made it to transfer. 4 eggs, 2 fertilised. 1 early blast transferred on day 5 and 1 left to culture to day 6 which made it to blast and was frozen. I’m now in my 2ww with an early blast. So anxiously waiting but very busy at the same time ☺️

@PurpleRayne89 Thats amazing! Some women have 20 eggs and still only egg up with 2 embryos so you’ve done well whatever the outcome. When is your test day? Good luck 🤞

I used a double Zivafert injection Monday 16/9 (10 days ago). I am stupid as I tested today 3dp5dt and got a 1-2 weeks result. I may already know the answer but is this the trigger?? My OTD is Monday next week. I should also add an early blast was transferred…
Weirdly enough, I tested with a test with a sensitivity of 10 this morning and it was negative. This CBD is 25 and did just now. Last time I used a double trigger it left my system 4dp5dt. I think I tested to feel like I was doing something other than waiting around I guess. To be part of the wait and not be the one waiting.

@Firefly42 Yes!! I’m glad I have one frozen. I also have an early blast, from a previous cycle saved so two in total. At least I won’t have to go through stigma again. I said I’d not do that again as I’ve had enough.
