Hope you're all feeling ok post EC. 💕
Has anyone had any idea of timescale when the withdrawal bleed will be and how many periods before the FET cycle?

@LeoStar24 yay babies on board!!! Plus a cheeky nandos. I was laughing at myself, I've gone gluten and dairy free this past year to see if that makes any difference with our ivf... I was determined to do the mc Donald's chips (even if they are not gluten free) but also went wild and got a double cheese burger. Self sabotage with all the gluten and dairy 😂🍔

@Indigopantha I'm getting married in July next year in Northern Ireland, where my fiancé is from... So it's always a funny chat in the shops... "I might be pregnant, I might have a very different post pregnancy body or I might be this size... What dress do you recommend?"

@EvaA17 i know what you mean with some clinic recommendations... At my last clinic they said don't have hot baths, don't hold a warm pet on your lap umm trying to remember some of the other crazy recommendations but taking it all with a pinch of salt this time. Our bodies are built to do this, most people don't give themselves crazy guidelines to live by and I don't think the stress of overthinking helps.

Indigopantha · 30/07/2024 15:57

@Becky105 that’s my favourite ‘don’t have a warm pet on your lap’ 😂 well too late my dogs been stuck to me since I got home. I had the same thing choosing my wedding dress, we started IVF last year and our wedding is end of August! Iremand in the summer will be stunning ✨

@EvaA17 thanks for the message, I was thinking of complaining, especially as you say it’s a really delicate time. They managed to get everything sorted now thanks 😊

LeoStar24 · 31/07/2024 09:29

@EvaA17 thank you so much!

@Becky105 haha that's so funny! Just been feeling tired but no other symptom! How are you feeling?

Becky105 · 31/07/2024 09:45

@Indigopantha I'm not great at planning things... So the wedding was always going to be a challenge, then my mum got diagnosed with cancer and we started back up with ivf. Both things just make it really tricky for me to try to picture me on my wedding day. Will mum be there? Will I have a baby there? Will I be pregnant? So, I've decided to plan for the scenario that I'll have my parents there and a young baby and a post baby body lol... Then if things change I'll adjust from there.

Sarah's relatives in told us it was p*ssing down this year on our July wedding date 😂😂😂 so we're going for a dry July next year too.

@LeoStar24 yeah I'm feeling good, this morning I was lying in bed trying to work out if tiny twinges could be implantation but who knows? I have been sleeping really well, especially given the heat.

LeoStar24 · 31/07/2024 09:52

@Becky105 I have also been tired, I'm currently taking a lie down whilst working and might have an afternoon siesta for 15/20mins to just recharge! When are you planning on testing?

kirstysmbc · 31/07/2024 10:07

@Seasidegirll I'm so sorry to hear about your negative test. I hope you have all the support you need around you at this difficult time.

@Mfiwife @Faith2024 @EvaA17 I hope all my transfer buddies are doing ok? Anyone else tested again? I did this morning and thankfully there does appear to have been some progress. I'm going for a blood test today, then will try and do one on Friday or Monday if today's result is ok.

@LeoStar24 @Becky105 congrats on being PUPO. I hope you are my again to keep sane in the 2ww.

Mfiwife · 31/07/2024 11:38

@kirstysmbc I've not tested this morning, forced myself not to after getting into a state over the clear blue tests yesterday but I am already itching to get a test at lunch. I just can't relax without having tested. So pleased your line still looks like it's progressing! I wish my clinic did bloods. Does anyone know if there's somewhere that does them independently?

kirstysmbc · 31/07/2024 11:45

@Mfiwife My clinic is in Portugal, so I'm doing privately. I don't know where you're based but have a look if there is a one day tests clinic near you. They get results back same day.

Mfiwife · 31/07/2024 12:32

Ah ok! I’ll have a look at that @kirstysmbc so I caved at lunch & did a test. I could only get a brand I’ve not used before from the shop by work so I can’t really compare lines/progression which isn’t very helpful. But objectively, do you think this looks about right for 9dp5dt or faint? Not sure if anyone has used Alvita pregnancy tests before but it was only £3 so not sure how reliable! My urine was also pretty diluted 🫣 (have had tea & lots of water at work this morn) so probably not a good time to do a test but I cannot help myself!!

@Indigopantha I just wanted to say I'm so sorry to hear about your horrible transfer ordeal, this whole experience is stressful and emotional enough without having to deal with stuff like that on top. I don't think you should worry at all about running or being active shortly after transfer so try not to worry about it!

It's a little while since I checked the thread so huge congratulations to the ladies with recent positive tests - may those little embryos continue to stick to you like glue!

To those that have had recent negatives - all the love & a big hug

I am myself feeling very bloated from the Oestradiol V but otherwise ok, though nervous for my scan on Monday.

Faith2024 · 31/07/2024 14:20

Congratulations on your transfers @Becky105 & @LeoStar24 if I haven’t said so already.

I am really glad lines are progressing well for both of you @kirstysmbc & @Mfiwife. @Mfiwife that looks like a good clear positive line.

I haven’t tested since Monday and I am
holding out until tomorrow morning. 1st of Aug is the date my consultatnt said I could take a reliable test (even though 5th is official date). Assuming all is still OK tomorrow I will be having a beta blood test and progesterone test on day 12 which is Saturday. I might ask to do that sooner on a Friday.

I have developed itchy rash & bruising from Lubion all over stomach and clinic has advised to try my thigh but I am too paranoid to change anything at this stage. Has anyone ever taken lubion on their thigh?

Mfiwife · 31/07/2024 14:49

Hi @Faith2024 thank you! I hope so! I can't help much re lubion because i've done a completely natural cycle this time but I found when going through stims injections had less of a reaction when injecting the thigh as I had a lot of irritation/heat, raised skin etc. when injecting in the tummy. I do get it not wanting to change at this stage though!

Mfiwife · 31/07/2024 15:49

Just in case it helps anyone, I was worried yesterday because my clear blue was fainter than the day before but today I have had the strongest clear blue yet & a 2-3 weeks on a digital!! Feeling so happy (for now) but this shows that sometimes a fainter line doesn’t necessarily mean you’re out xx

I got my beta results back and it is 203 at 9dp5dt - with my daughter at this stage it was 143, so feeling much more hopeful. I'll do another to check things are doubling, but this makes me think I can start to be hopeful it is third time lucky 🤞🤞

@Mfiwife congrats on your 2-3 weeks!!

@Faith2024 I hope your test tomorrow is also super strong. I'm sorry you have had so many issues with the lubion. I've only ever done it in my stomach. When I was having real issues with the clexane, my clinic advised to move to the thigh, but luckily it calmed down a bit. Hopefully the thigh is a bit better for you

@Hoppy1985 Good luck for your scan next week, I hope it's good news!

Mfiwife · 31/07/2024 18:38

Amazing news @kirstysmbc !! So pleased for you 😊 here’s hoping we both continue to progress well 🤞🏼 xx

Faith2024 · 31/07/2024 20:23

That’s great news @kirstysmbc, you must feel relieved. I hope mine remains positive tomorrow too. I just realised my amazon order of more tests can arrive anytime and I will
miss the early morning urine. I think that blood test can’t come soon enough.

As for the rash, at this point I am not even sure its the Lubion and could well be the inhixa as I do them both around the same time. I will keep a closer eye. I have an upcoming nurse appointment friday or sat so will check again.

@Mfiwife the digital is reassuring congratulations. I ordered a digital as well to try tomorrow.

Hoppy1985 · 31/07/2024 21:44

@kirstysmbc that's great news, I'm really happy for you!

Thanks, I'm keeping everything crossed.

EvaA17 · 31/07/2024 23:25

@kirstysmbc that's fantastic news about your beta results. So happy for you. You must have a bit of relief now too.

@Mfiwife congrats on your 2-3 weeks result! Reading the word pregnant definitely seems more real. I hope you're feeling reassured.

@Faith2024 good luck for your beta and test tomorrow! I hope it's a really strong positive for you. Sorry, I can't help re the lubion but definitely speak to the nurses about it, hopefully they will provide some advice.

I've ordered some tests and will test on Friday, that way I kind of know before the weekend and I can just ride it all out before the OTD and having to be back at work on Monday x

EvaA17 · 31/07/2024 23:27

@Hoppy1985 good luck for your scan on Monday, I hope it all goes well.

I felt the same when I started estradiol, still feeling quite bloated tbh but manageable now. I feel like the side effects from the pessaries have been the worst for me.
The cramps and lower back pain have been notorious and this was even before the transfer 🥲

Faith2024 · 01/08/2024 07:24

@EvaA17 I hope the backpain/cramps ease for you, I had them since transfer on and off but just assumed that may be linked to implantation. Good luck for your test on Friday , wishing you all the luck!!

My digital pregnancy test hasn’t arrived yet but I had some of the cheapie sticks and the two tests I did were big fat positives so I feel good about it. I ll take the digital as soon as it arrives and will try to get bloods done tomorrow unless clinic insist on day 12 which is Saturday as they want to check progestrone as well.

@kirstysmbc & @Mfiwife I hope yours continue to stay strong.

Everyone else still waiting to test or transfer, fingers crossed for you all x

Indigopantha · 01/08/2024 07:35

@Hoppy1985 thanks for the lovely message 🩷 Good luck with your scan on Monday! That’s so exciting!

@kirstysmbc really great news about your beta result! So happy for you! 😃

@Faith2024 Good luck with your beta test 💚 will be thinking about you!

Indigopantha · 01/08/2024 07:38

This morning I’m 7dp5dt and still BFN, I’ll test again on my OTD and won’t stop my meds. But I’m pretty sure I’m out.

I started googling to see if anyone has got negative frer at 7dpt but still had a positive beta result on OTD.

We have 2 rounds left, but my partner only wants to only do 1 more round. We are going to focus on our wedding this summer and just smash all the vitamins now to get ready for our next round.

Does anyone here have experience of testing uterine microbioma? I’m looking at the Daye test and getting vaginal probiotics. Just thinking of what we can do to increase chances.

Becky105 · 01/08/2024 10:48

@Indigopantha when is your OTD? I'm crossing everything for you that you're not out yet.

@LeoStar24 i don't know when to start testing. I had the urge to have a little pee on a stick today but at only 3dp5dt I think I'd be chancing my arm. I was hoping to start maybe at 5dp5dt but I don't think I'll hold out. When are you going to test?

LeoStar24 · 01/08/2024 10:54

@Faith2024 thank you! Just playing the waiting game now!

@Becky105 I have the cheap ones at home so I'm thinking to start testing from Sunday which would be day 5 for me but I don't know. I am majorly symptom spotting though now!!

Mfiwife · 01/08/2024 11:06

Amazing @Faith2024 so happy for you, is your digital a week predicter too?

Good luck for Friday @EvaA17 !

I read 4pd5dt is the earliest you will get a positive but that might be wrong @Becky105

& I have read so many stories of women who didn't get a positive until 8dp5dt @Indigopantha so things could still change, crossing my fingers for you!
