TWW Symptoms Feb 2024

[IVF2024]

Would love to hear your experiences of symptoms whether you had any or not during the TWW. It’s my First time IVF experience I am currently 5days post double embryo 5day transfer. Starting to feel different sensations similar to coming up to AF.

it’s beyond hard not to symptom spot!

today I felt exhausted getting out of bed for the first time since transfer but shook it off at 12!

OTD 18th Feb will not test prior to this

My period has just started to break through today and it’s so painful, just feels so unfair and a huge reminder that it’s failed again :( but we just have to dust ourselves off and keep going. I hope you’re being kind to yourself today ❤️

@HopefulHead it is a very tough day. Sorry to hear your period has come also. This process is definitely harder than seeing your period coming on a natural cycle. Just devastating all round. We took
ourselves to the beach today to get away from our house. Just such an empty feeling all round. So sad and disappointing it was our 1 and only chance on NHS x

So sorry to read that it didn’t work out for you this time @IVF2024 & @HopefulHead sending lots of hugs! Massive congrats to you @JennyF84 🌸💛 I am still symptom spotting waiting for the TWW to hurry up and only 7dpiui trigger is finally out been feeling a bit sick on and off and hot flushes a few times over the last day or so but assuming this is the progesterone at this stage more than anything else, I have approx 100 pregnancy tests so I can just test every day from now on - send help 🫣🤣😩

Hi anyone still lurking on this thread? I am 9dpo tested this morn and mid afternoon both negative and have had some period pains on and off all day and cramping on right side, which makes me think I may be out any day now 😩😭 just needed to share my frustration 🌸

@MamaK19 try keep positive, as hard as the TWW is, it is the only way to get through it. Wishing you a positive result. When is your OTD xx

Morning all sorry @IVF2024 I have been trying to limit my time online the last couple of days otherwise I just drive myself crazy googling symptoms 🫣😩 I have carried on testing every day I’ve had really awful period pains and was absolutely convinced I was out however to my surprise I got a faint but clear BFP yesterday (12dpo) on a wondfo after about only an hour hold - I thought it would be negative and tested on a whim and then again later that day on a frer after about 3 hour hold, tested again this morning 13dpo BFP on a clear blue early test still not enough hormone to show on a Tesco cheapy though! Saving my last FRER for tomorrow which is my OTD 🤞🤞🩵🩵

@MamaK19 that all seems very very positive for you. I’d say congratulations are in order. Was this your first IVF cycle?x

Thanks @IVF2024 first medicated iui this time around previously went through failed reciprocal ivf and a couple of iuis back just before covid which resulted in our beautiful 3 year old 💛💛 feeling very lucky (and relieved as last time nearly bankrupted us 🤣🫣) are you starting your next cycle soon or planning a break? Xxx

@MamaK19 bless you have had a rough journey wishing you confirmed positive news soon. we are going to have a wee break now for a couple of weeks just to relax after the disappointment of our first try. Waiting on our notes to come through from NHS round so we can forward them onwards to our private clinic but we will go onwards with treatment again for sure x

@IVF2024 aw thanks so much, wishing you all the baby dust 💛 it’s so hard the emotional rollercoaster you go on adding in all the hormones you are pumping in to you’re body - it’s a rough ride but will so be worth it when you get there!! Xx
