TWW Symptoms Feb 2024

[IVF2024]

Would love to hear your experiences of symptoms whether you had any or not during the TWW. It’s my First time IVF experience I am currently 5days post double embryo 5day transfer. Starting to feel different sensations similar to coming up to AF.

it’s beyond hard not to symptom spot!

today I felt exhausted getting out of bed for the first time since transfer but shook it off at 12!

OTD 18th Feb will not test prior to this

@StillTTC7 no my headache is still lingering around. Got my husband to massage my head and it eased a bit thankfully. Feeling ok have few twinges here and there when I was out walking this morning. Quite pinchy at one point when going up a hill. now I have the mildest lower back pain that comes and goes

our test date is Sunday! This week has felt like a month and it’s only Tuesday evening

@IVF2024 aww sorry it’s still there but good that it has eased a bit. Hopefully it’ll lift by tomorrow.

Yeah I had that too! Hope you took it easy, I looks like a wee granny bimbling round at my leisure these days haha.

I keep thinking today is Wednesday so that has hit me right in the face again! This is our version of January feels like a year lol.
Have you much on to keep you busy the next handful of days?

Aw @StillTTC7hopefully no sign of AF!! Are you on pessaries? They always make me have like pre period cramps so it may just even that 🤞🤞thanks I am still feeling sore today, but much better than yesterday!!! I know I am so rubbish at waiting to test so if I test out the trigger at least I will know I won’t be getting a false positive, I think it’s usually out by 9days post trigger anyway though! I am keeping busy in work but I am still so so impatient it’s been like one day and I’m already feeling like it’s been a month 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️😂😂 send help!! Hope everyone else is doing okay and not being as impatient as me 😜😜

@StillTTC7 yes my days are always busy with something! I am finding myself a bit scatty in work when speaking to clients so I am glad that I am quieter on that end of things this week. Starting to get really nervous about OTD absolutely every little thing is starting to irritate me!

how are you feeling about it all?

@MamaK19 yeah on pessaries and this morning was my last one I’m to take! There’s been the tiniest bit of brown spotting this morning and afternoon, but nothing the last couple of hours. I’m getting nervous now it’s a bad sign!!
Glad you’re feeling better! It really takes it out of you doesn’t it. I totally underestimated it all!
Haha everyday has been a drag too😂 but stay strong, you’ve got this!!

@IVF2024 good you’re keeping busy! Hopefully the scattiness eases somewhat for you soon, though I know I had it for basically from second day of pessaries but feeling more clear now. Irritation is a sign of stress, no stressing allowed! Lol
I’m feeling just okay I think, test day tomorrow and I’ve had a little bit of brown spotting earlier today so I’m very anxious. I definitely do not feel pregnant, though I know it’s too early that way I still just don’t feel it! Your test is soon too isn’t it?

@StillTTC7 oh my goodness wishing you the best of luck for tomorrow. Your symptoms are also a sign of pregnancy which is the most frustrating thing about this process. It really messes with your mind. Fingers crossed for you xx

@StillTTC7 sorry forgot to say yes mine is Sunday this week! Been the longest week of my life. I feel a tad woosey and bit dizzy at the moment this evening. Headache still lingering around but not as strong. Such a mind game all of this. Definitely worse than the wondering when trying to conceive naturally

@IVF2024 You & I sound to have identical symptoms, I've had that headache for 2 days and was dizzy and light headed yesterday morning, the headache is dulling thank goodness as it has been horrible. Same test day as you too xx

@JennyF84 i took my headache on Monday night after a busy day of clients, one which was particularly annoying and I thought she was the one that gave me a headache 😂 but two days later surely I can’t blame an annoying client! God forgive
me lol such a horrible headache but the best headache if it’s going to be good news for us.

have you managed to stay away from testing?

@IVF2024 Yess I haven't even got any tests at home at the moment. I'm determined to wait till Sunday. I am glad the headache is easing off but I'm 100% with you in the notion that it's all for a good cause... I hope we both get our happy news on Sunday xx

@JennyF84 i am the same. I haven’t bought a pregnancy test in about a year now. So I will keep going to Sunday! Me too! I wish everyone nothing but good news xx

@IVF2024 aww thank you! Getting very nervous now, this is our first time going through IVF so all new. We’ve never even used a test before because we’ve never even come close so a bit daunting.

Still a very light amount of brown discharge, sorry for too much info but I feel like we all know the craic in these forums! Also mad dull headache the last day as well so who knows.

Sunday will fly in! But yes, the longest weeks known to man. I had some dizziness last week, hoping these are all good signs for us.

We’re tougher than we think, this is mega mind games as you say!

@JennyF84 how are your symptoms going? Mine are coming and going. Have been so warm in the mornings which is a constant but the rest come and go. So nervous for Sunday! Expecting a sleepless night tomorrow

@IVF2024 I have been wondering about your symptoms too lol, my headache eased off yesterday, today I've had on and off little niggles in my lower abdomen which are continuing as we speak, also feel heavy in my lower abdomen if that makes sense, and like I've done a lot of sit-ups and I can guarantee you I haven't LOL I'm hopeful for good news for us both on Sunday xx

@JennyF84 fingers crossed for good news. I was out this afternoon and I had such a heaviness around very tops of legs were it meets the hips and then such a pain in lower back! Yikes! Yes feeling the heaviness also! I get what you mean.

this week has been 365 days long x

I just keep getting little stabbing pains, you're not wrong this week has lasted forever, 36 hours to go 🙏

@IVF2024 How are you feeling? My nerves are getting the better of me today. Going to go to the cinema soon, try and take my mind off it.

@JennyF84 nerves are shot! Really not hopeful for tomorrow, don’t feel anything today, nor feel pregnant at all, not that I would know what it feels like as I never have been pregnant before but something isn’t sitting well with me today. I have a feeling all the symptoms I have been having are progesterone related. Just have that gut feeling today. Was boiling hot in bed last night at 1am woke for a few hours couldn’t get back to sleep. I get that heat when totm is on its way too

let’s hope it’s just the negative chatter talking and I am proved wrong but don’t think so.

@IVF2024 It's so hard isn't it.. not knowing and over-thinking every feeling or the absence of. I have had on and off little stabby pains again today and what felt like waves of period pains and really tight feeling in my lower abdomen. Feeling a bit irritable lol 😆 xx

That all sounds really positive. Yes totally mind draining, analysing every feeling or twinge. lol I am irritable too but think it is with nerves, I will use that excuse anyway x

@JennyF84 i have just started to spot so I think my gut feeling today was right

as I am new to ivf I have no idea as to when my AF should arrive but I am guessing around now

@IVF2024 I can't believe it, me too.. just now as I'm going to bed. Don't know what to think now 😕

I am updating this for anyone who is symptom spottting etc during the TWW unfortunately we had a BFN result this morning despite all the positive symptoms that popped up during the TWW for us
