Ohhhh @seekingbabyk - I'm so sorry 😥that's really tough! the finality is hard even when you're expecting it.... sending love xxx
@MaybeBabyTwo I'd wait another couple of days before counting yourself out but I can totally understand the overwhelm thinking of what to do next. I hope you can takes some time to process everything and come up with a plan xxx
@kirstysmbc I'm so sorry to hear that... how very shitty! Hoping for some unexpected good news for you if you do take bloods today, but I can understand how you feel and I'm sending you a huge hug xxx
@kaydevo7777 I'm hope you've seen line progression and things are still looking good! Thinking of you!
@DiscoKitty and @Staryskylark huge congrats! If you've continued to test, I hope it's been looking good. So great to have some positive news on this not-so-very-lucky thread 😍
@ThinkPink37 congrats and so happy to hear about your positive news after your previous losses! Keeping everything crossed that everything continues to go smoothly for you 🤞🏼
@GCS34 how are you feeling about next steps? have you managed to have a chat with your husband about it all? It's tough deciding what to do when there are so many sides to things. The only things I'd say is: clinics seem to have very strict rules for avoiding double transfers, so if the embryologist is recommending that, it's worth considering.
And no, I did not know the Genesis guy and am definitely going to look him up! Thanks!
With the castor oil packs, there's this oil you put on your belly under the hot water bottle... not sure it actually does anything but I was more than happy to have an excuse to lay down for 20m with a hot water bottle and not be disturbed 😅
So, I'm based in London but originally from the Med (saying the exact country would be quite outing with all the other info on here, as there's not so many of us). I'm actually back home this weekend which has been a good distraction form the BFN, although telling my close friends has been tough.
I have a follow-up with the clinic at the end of March, so I will ask about those checks, thanks. I've been prescribed baby aspirin (again, because of previous preeclampsia) but only after a positive test, so I'll ask about that too. My main question is really around progesterone as I was on Cyclogest 3 times a day, whereas only twice on my successful round, and this time was a natural one so I thought they'd prescribe less, not more. TMI: 4 days after stopping, I'm still getting the milky discharge that comes with the progesterone, so I wonder if it was too much, if there is such a thing?
Thinking of everyone else in the tww and sending positive thoughts xxx
