@Millie89xx wishing you a speedy recovery. I was very very unwell after my retrieval. I felt like I'd been hit with a car. I could move with being in agony. My partner had to roll me over positions and help me out of bed 😆
I'm 12dp now and I still get alot of pain everytime I wee

@Melisss it’s all down to growth on what days it goes back in so if yours is way ahead then that can only be a good thing and I always read better in than out ! Think positive thoughts …. 🩷🤞💙 good luck for your transfer .

@MoonlightDreamer yeah that’s what it is pain when I wee must be all the pressure mustn’t it I’m just hoping them shooting pains was wind last night I’m just taking it easy until I have to go back to work next week

@Millie89xx oh gosh the trapped wind 🙈 Ive had it for the past 2 weeks and I think its finally subsiding. The pain was unbearable sometimes and no matter how hard I tried I couldn't pass any wind

@Millie89xx I have felt uncomfortable all week it's only today (had EC Monday) that I actually feel more mobile. So I'm quite sure it's normal as I was exactly the same last time. The poor dog has had rubbish short walks this week as I can't face it 🫣

@MoonlightDreamer it’s like you can’t push down to get it out isn’t it cos the shooting pain is too much 😂😂😂😂😂

Is anyone else struggling with anxiety? Some days I feel like it is taking over.

@Hopingforno2in2023 ahhh I’m sorry to hear your struggling … I’m worrying over every little thing but I’m trying to be positive and what is meant for you won’t pass you by 🤞🩷💙 you got this I didn’t hear from the hospital today they don’t do a day 2 update so I probably won’t be able to sleep tonight with worry

@Hopingforno2in2023 try to relax as best as you can. I know its so hard to do. The wait now knowing how they are progressing is awful and on top of that you have the TWW. I'm going out of my mind. The anxiety is just endless. Today is my OTD and I'm still testing positive but I'm obsessing over lines not progressing over the past few days and even if they do start progressing I don't think I'll feel relaxed at all throughout this whole pregnancy. I'm putting so much pressure on myself for everything to go right and just can't help but feel a sense of impending doom. Doctors bringing me in for a hcg test so I'm hoping that will ease my mind somewhat.
Maybe try to distract yourself ?
I've started getting the house cleaned to put up decorations early and have been clearing out our spare room in a bid to distract myself

Thanks both :) I have focused on the things that relax and comfort me this afternoon and feel much better.

@Millie89xx transfer went fine. I hope it sticks. Nothing more I can do.
It was hard though with the full bladder. They kept us waiting more and I was literally so scared I will pee myself 😅 I was desperate! They let me pee a bit but that didn't help much.
I was a bit distracted through the whole process because my bladder was killing me and the nurse was pressing on it. Oh well it's done now 😅

@Melisss that was the first thing I said to the team, I asked if anyone had pee 'd themselves during it 😆

@MoonlightDreamer oh my god, same 😅 I told them if they don't let me go to the toilet a bit I will pee there 😅

@MoonlightDreamer is it a full bladder or just comfortably full? I’m getting so bloated off these pessarys anyone else ? Feel like a right moan today 😂😭

@Millie89xx I was told prior to coming that it had to be a full bladder. However I had a 2 and a half hour journey and there was no way I was holding it. I stopped at a filling station about half hour before my transfer and then just sipped on some water after that. I'd already drank so much tho prior and it was filtering through my system and within those 30 minutes I thought I was going to piss myself. The nurse actually told me it dosent really matter. Your bladder dosent have to be completely full for the transfer. I spent so long peeing after my transfer from all the water they actually had to come to the bathroom and check i was ok because I'd been in there a while 😆

@MoonlightDreamer i was the same, never peed so much in my life after. I thought something else is happening, I had to look 😅
They told me it really needs to be full 😒 maybe they were exaggerating

@Melisss fab to hear you've had your transfer, good luck! I've never heard of a 2 day transfer, but I'm assuming it's due to it being such a good embryo. Welcome to the 2ww ☺️

I am trying to keep busy and not over think but it's hard 😂 My boobs keep going from being sore to basically fine, I'm sleeping so well but have vivid dreams and I had some pains/backache after transfer up until Thursday, but nothing yesterday.
I've just had to force myself to go for a wee as I was temped to test 😂 I'm only 5dp, so far to early 😬
I may put the Christmas tree up later today with a non alcoholic gin... I always have a glass of wine while I do the tree usually 😂

@Hopingforno2in2023 hope you are ok, how many days post transfer are you now?

@MoonlightDreamer that's great news your getting the positives, just horrible you can't enjoy it, it's a never ending string of worry in IVF 😢 I hope the HCG test brings you some comfort 🥰

@Kitt86 how are you? Hope you got your acupuncture, and are all set for transfer today ☺️

Just had my day 3 call. The wonky one didn’t make it but the other four have improved in quality so going for transfer on Monday now.

I haven’t had my transfer yet @User491, day 3 today and going for day 5 :)

@User491 thanks 🙂 I woke up very worried today and negative. I just feel they transfered to early or something and don't feel pozitive about the rest, that any are going to make it so we have some to freeze.

We went to a friends b-day party yesterday and his partner is pregnant (almost due) and they were so happy and excited and another couple there had a 1 year daughter. I just felt uncomfortable somehow.
Also the pregnant girl was drinking and vaping and i was just so annoyed I don't know why 😅
Weird mix of emotions at the moment.

@Melisss congrats on your transfer! And great news that you could have some to freeze, that’s a fab result! I know what you are saying about a 2 day transfer but I’ve read that it’s more optimal for them to be inside you and I do think we need to trust the Drs as they know what they are doing. But it’s hard nonetheless and it’s totally normal to feel overwhelmed and negative at times. And seeing a pregnant woman drinking and vaping is just infuriating! 🤬 good on you for not loosing your cool! I’ve been kinda avoiding some social situations and I know people say you can’t put your life on hold but you are the most important person in your life atm so be selfish and everyone else can deal with it. Hope you’re ok, hopefully your doing something nice today to make you smile 😊

@Kitt86 happy transfer day! How are you feeling? We are leaving in 15 mins and I’m super excited but nervous and already had 2 happy cries this morning! 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️ just can’t believe we have gotten this far and it’s all happening!

although did anybody else feel overwhelmed with the fact that you won’t know how many you have/grades they are etc until you are there for the transfer? And then you need to decide what you are doing in terms of which one (if we have any!) and then freezing, double transfers etc? 😳 I’ve been trying to think of all possibilities and think about what is best but my OH is telling me that we can plan all we like but it’s best to see what the clinic says! My heads a bit gone lol 😆

I’m still waiting for my day 3 call ! 😭 there is no urgency in this hospital what so ever nerves are on the edge here 🤞😳

Yes I feel the stress of not know how their doing. Obviously I only had two fertilized so even tho my day 3 report was good, I still panicked. Found a woman to do my acupuncture at 6.30am this morning which was very kind of her. Then when we got to clinic found out both had survived and 1 was a 4AB and one was a 4BB. I was happy about that.
We decided to quite literally put all our eggs in one basket and we transferred both 🤞🙏🤞
It is a wonderful day, try and enjoy it xxx
