Congrats @Millie89xx & @Melisss! I am all well thanks and we got 9 eggs of which 8 were mature so very happy.

@Hopingforno2in2023 ohhh fantastic ! They never told me if they was mature or not just said I’d have a call tomorrow to see how the next stage is going 🤞🤞 fingers crossed I have some good eggs 🥚 did you feel sore after ? I have felt quite sore today and achey 🤕

Perhaps that means they were all mature @Millie89xx :) I am sore although fine with paracetamol. Resting on the sofa :)

I am a bit nervous about this pessarie I have to start taking tonight. They said to use it in your bum (feels weird even typing it 😅) as it absorbs better. Never done anything like this.
Any tips? How far does it need to go in? 🙈
I know they were called bum bullets on here 😅

@Melisss oh I know I seen that comment , I think it’s just as long as it goes up and doesn’t come back out 😂🤪 surely it can’t be as bad as injecting ?

@Millie89xx would not mind an injection 😅 I had a system with them. Will see how it goes tonight...not like I have any other option 😅

Has anyone got any tips for these bum bullets as they are called ? Any side affects off them ?

To all the EC ladies….just as a precaution, get some laxatives or stool softeners! Not sure if anybody else suffered the same but I’ve been pretty bunged up and had to go to the pharmacy today as I was in a bit of pain! 🤦🏻‍♀️ the joys! Hope you are all feeling ok and resting up!

I started the progesterone pessaries yesterday but do them vaginally as that is what my clinic says to do. They are v easy to insert. I did insert a paracetamol one rectally today before EC and it was also v easy. Just pop it in and push as far as is comfortable. Took 2 seconds.

@Hopingforno2in2023 yeah, they said you can also do it vaginally but the hospital said that there were loads of studies that say it is better absorbed and gives more results 🤷🏻‍♀️ and it's not as messy 🤷🏻‍♀️
Will give it a go later 💪

@Melisss I use mine rectally. Honestly so easy. Just be relaxed about it. It's smooth and slides in easily. Don't force it in further than it'll naturally go. It has a natural stopping. It just needs to be fully "in" so that it doesn't pop straight back out 😊 takes 20 minutes to be absorbed.

@Hopingforno2in2023 yeah I was also told to do them rectally as some of the casin can get lodged into cervix 😭

@Rosesinbloom19 I’m dreading this but I have been eating so healthy all my greens and I’m literally having 3 litres of water and a fresh orange every night so I’m hoping I don’t get it ?? 😭

@IVFKinster thanks for that bit of advice have you had any side effects off them ?

@Millie89xx fingers crossed you don’t get it as it’s rubbish, I’ve been in a bit of pain today! I was drinking lots of water and getting electrolytes etc but maybe not enough greens! Sure you’ll be fine! 🤞🏻

@Millie89xx I had some mental health side effects but that is typical for me on any and all hormones. They made me moody for the first week (see: crazy and depressed) and a bit ragey but that has mostly settled. Although I did want to throw an apple at someone today just for being who they are so maybe it hasn't completely settled. They make me a bit gassy and I get gentle cramps about an hour after I use them 😊

@Rosesinbloom19 did it happen for you straight after egg collection like not been able to go atall? God this is my worst nightmare 😂😂😂😂 I did buy lactolose today so I’ll just start it anyway

@Millie89xx luckily I have been able to go since but it’s just been last night/today (my EC was Monday) that I’ve been in pain! I got lactulose today and that’s helped but now I’m full of painful wind & gas! My OH is loving it! 🤦🏻‍♀️😆🤣 hopefully you’ll be fine and I think prevention is better than cure! 🤞🏻

@Rosesinbloom19 oh isn’t it sly on us ! I’ve just took some then and done me pesary let’s hope it don’t come back out 😂😂 I’m more worried cos of how sore I am still 😭
