Hi @Millie89xx scan is on the 12th December. Had blood tests last week which helped ease anxiety (highly recommend) I had to fight for them at GP and explain I had recurrent miscarriage post previous IVF cycles and offered to pay. So paid 2x£25.(although they said the lab will also bill me- but they haven't?!)
Results were
12d5dt - 510
14dp5dt- 1220
So feel happier that things are going along correctly, started to feel very nauseous today and have come home from work a bit early. Praying that they both stuck if I'm completely honest but not sure at this point until scan.

@Kitt86 oh mines 14 th not far behind urs thought you were way ahead of me for some reason .. im ok ! I’m trying not to get sucked into the whole taking tests everyday or getting bloods done it will only stress me out! I’ve been really bad with ohss that seems to be on its way out now I’m just tired and starving and my boobs hurt it’s going to be a long wait until the scan 😭

Heres one for you ladies who had your BFPS. Are you finding you have an increased sex drive ?
I'm finding it very overwhelming.
Normally my drive is extremely low.

I have my scan tomorrow and I'm feeling very anxious. I've been having intense cramping since yesterday after some gentle intimacy with OH . I just don't feel like it's normal.
I got my results back from my blood test with medichecks and my hcg was 8657
But my progesterone was 311. Its indicating this is outside the normal range. They did say it could be due to progesterone supplementation if i was taking any however i wasnt on any progesterone during my blood test. I started the day after. I'm completely freaking myself out today. I've read very high progesterone could be a sign of a molar pregnancy. I highly doubt it's multiples .
I definitely feel there's some weird shit going on with me. I feel extremely off every morning I wake up , I feel really dizzy. I'm now wondering if it's due to the progesterone levels. In the past my levels were always low
Anyway nervous to see whats going on tomorrow . Hopefully at least I'll get some resolution

@MoonIightDreamer I usually have quite a high sex drive, and I'm a bit the opposite at the moment 🙈

Sorry you're so anxious, and uncomfortable too, everything is such a worry through this process. Hopefully it's just lots going on in there and you get some positive news!
Hcg number sounds very promising!
The progesterone level, was it a test you did at home? I read that if you have touch the pessaries with the finger's you take blood from that it can give a false result? Could that perhaps be the answer?

@User491 I had an intravenous blood sample taken at a clinic so there should be no contamination. I hadn't been on progesterone for 2 weeks prior to the test and only started taking it again after the test so I'm baffled why its so high

Hey @MoonlightDreamer what day past transfer did you do you blood test out of curiosity? Also progesterone does found high compared to what I've seen other people comment on other posts but I've never had mine tested. And I have read you can't have to much progesterone so surely that's a good thing?!? Unfortunately I have been to nervous to be that intimate. Initially we did not wanted to disturb them (I rationally know this isn't even a thing, but I got it in my head) so I we have a a couple of times but it's rare in comparison to usual. I was way more ridiculous on stims 🤣🤣🫣🫣

@User491 I had it done on Friday morning which is almost a month since transfer, bar a day or two.
It seems abnormally high. They told me to speak to GP for a clinical assesment but that would be a waste of time.
God knows how high its been now that I'm back on the progesterone past few days. I stopped taking it today until I speak to the fertility clinic tomorrow

@MoonIightDreamer sorry to hear the progesterone result has caused you more anxiety. I don't know much about it. Hopefully your scan tomorrow goes well and gives you reassurance. And that your clinic can offer advice re progesterone.🤞🏻
In regards to sex drive, mine hasn't changed at all. To be honest the progesterone pessaries put me off with the stuff that comes out. I sneezed earlier and that happened (sorry tmi 🫣)

@IVFKinster did you need a full bladder for the early scan?

@LuckyPineapple I get a load of weird shit coming out every morning too. I'm on the gel and it's like pva glue. After you absorb the progesterone the carrier gel turns to rubber 😆 that obviously you have to pass out. The applicator is horrible too. You twist the top to break it off and then the tip is rough jaggy plastic . I do wonder if that's what caused some light bleeding last week

It should be a transvaginal scan @MoonlightDreamer in which case an empty bladder. If they do a tummy scan then you need a full bladder, but I doubt they'd try to do that at this early stage.

@MoonlightDreamer let us know how your scan goes! Everything crossed for you. Waiting for them to find the tiny bean and the tiny heart beat was the worst 30 seconds ever. I hope they can give you some reassurance about the progesterone.

We are on our way to the clinic and I am so desperate for a wee, there's also been a crash so taking a detour... thank god I can empty my bladder when I get there 😅

@IVFKinster thankyou. I just wanna get it over and done with. I'm so anxious today . I had a really terrible nights sleep as I woke up several times and couldn't roll back over as I had severe stomach pain. I really don't know if it's from my womb / intestines but on top of that I had a really shit dream that I was having a miscarriage. Think I slept 2 hours top and I'm getting ready now to travel to the city. A 2 hour drive is the last thing I feel like today. I really just need a nap.
How are you feeling?

@User491 I'm doing ok, although feeling quite nauseous and headachy today. Did a clearblue digital today which give me 3+ weeks. Haven't tested since last week so it just gives me a wee bit of reassurance. Have you got your scan today? If so, good luck and I hope all goes well 🤞🏻

@MoonIightDreamer the pessaries are awful and it could well have been the rough plastic causing you bleeding last week. Yours sound exactly like mine which is Crinone Gel?

We had our scan and although it's very early 6+1
We seen both embryos have stuck so we are having twins!! Can't believe it 🥰

Still very very early, and one is measuring a little smaller, the larger one we seen the heartbeat, the other the teeniest flicker. All very normal for this stage they said.
So booked back in for next Thursday 🙏😭❤️

@LuckyPineapple the symptoms are a great sign, and brilliant you got the 3+ ❤️
You will be on countdown to your scan, when is it booked for?

My scan is next Tuesday the 5th. Very anxious for it. Feel so nauseous and ill today. Can't wait to get home from work.

And my sense of smell today is unreal! Literally everything is offensive. Especially the perfume a colleague is wearing, after spraying it in the office 🤢

I’m well thanks @Millie89xx. Sad understandably but focusing on the positives. If my frostie works then I will be having an autumn baby which I have always wanted so really hoping for that. Have had a lovely couple of days with DH who is just finishing his old job before starting a new one on Monday so has nothing to do and is free to swan around with me.

@Millie89xx tired 😅I can t seem to recover. Just drained all day every day. To be fair I had no break between IVF and work absolutely killed me these last months. Can t wait for this holiday in a couple of days and then the Christmas break.
We are booked in with the doctor for a review in 2 weeks. Curious to see what they say.

@Hopingforno2in2023 aww I am glad to hear your ok and that’s nice getting to spend some time together yeah am ok taking each day as it comes still heavily swollen but the pains have subsided thank goodness

@Melisss ahh yes nice to hear ur ok! Enjoy ur holiday just what you both need . It’s mentally and physically draining on your body isn’t it
