I thought the Christmas decorations would be a good distraction until I started crying because I didn't like how the tree looked 😂
I'm guessing that's the hormones kicking in.

My clinic has booked me in for a scan on 30th so fingers crossed all goes well until then and hopefully that can give me some reassurance.

@LuckyPineapple it sure did I won’t be doing it again ….

did anyone just feel like your in a constant dream land during this 2ww like want to be excited but scared to be ? It’s mental .

@MoonlightDreamer ohhh moment of madness and I don’t even no what I was expecting to see that early it was just there and I thought go on and instantly regretted it think that’s out my system now and I’ll wait !

@User491 I believe they said around £65 each blood test with my GP and with my fertility clinic it's £100, but my clinic is 1.5 hours away. Xx

Hey everyone, how is everyone doing today?

Thought I would share incase it puts anyone else at ease in future but I spiralled big time today! 😖Had a weird dull ache in my shoulder started last night and today and was convinced it was an ectopic! Freaked out and called the clinic in a flap! 😱They very quickly reassured me that it was far too early for there to be any signs of an ectopic as the embryos are microscopic atm and what I was describing sounded like nerve pain! She also said the pains/twinges are due to the EC and drugs still being in my system. Turns out I just needed to take my inhaler and it went away! Wierd! 😳Felt like a fool for flapping so hard but these embryos are such precious cargo that I just couldn't be too careful!

Also starting to feel like I am going to be out soon as today I really feel like AF is on her way 😔I've got endo so get quite bad period pains and feel full in abdomen/back and it feels like it's coming....trying so hard to stay positive and haven't seen any blood/spotting yet but mind is gone today!

This TWW is in some ways the hardest past so far - hope you are all managing to feel a bit more sane than me today! xxx

@Rosesinbloom19 oh man, sorry you had a rough day. It's almost over and hope tomorrow you feel better. Try and relax this evening. I bought myself a Christmas puzzle which is keeping me entertained 😅
I got a notification on my period app that it's supposed to start in 2 days and I freaked out for a bit and started imagining that I can feel my period coming. This whole thing really messes with your head big time.

Thanks @Melisss my OH has come home and helped calm me down but wow today has been a lot! 😱 aw a Christmas puzzle sounds like a great idea! 🎅🏻 Anything to keep the mind going! Yeah I’m the same with my app, it keeps telling me I’ve overdue and it really doesn’t help! 🙉

I've always had a thing about buying puzzles thinking it'll be nice to sit down , build a puzzle and relax. In reality I end up getting extremely wound up and stressed and OH ends up finishing them 😆

Ooh you have inspired me to get a Christmas jigsaw out @Melisss. Sorry that several of you have had stressful days.

@MoonIightDreamer haha 😅 I can sit there for hours and it calms me down so much. I put some music on and just chill there in my little world.

@Millie89xx I'm currently 6dp5dt.... I'm desperate to test. The only thing that is stopping me this time round is it's my boyfriend's birthday today and I have booked a surprise three night trip with friends starting tonight and I'm scared of I test and it's negative I will ruin his birthday.

I feel very normal @Millie89xx. My breasts are a little tender but I know that is the progesterone.

@Kitt86 go enjoy your trip away and test when you get home
6dp is still quite early. If you test negative you'll only affect your mental state on the trip and if you test positive it'll just be the start of a whole new bundle of worries. My advice is go with the unknown for as long as possible

@MoonIightDreamer that's brilliant news about the scan, I had read the same about the spotting, but it doesn't help make you any less anxious 😢 the 30th is the day I'm booked in too 😊

I've considered getting the HCG tests done too, and I'm in 2 minds, if they aren't doubling it's going to cause me so much more anxiety after everything I went through the first round. So I tested today and got a dye stealer I think 🙈 on a boots early test and a 2-3 on a digital. I'm going to try and leave the testing now until next week to see if I get a 3+
However, I am having loads of af style pains and twinges, and a reallly bad head, and it's making me think I'm gonna bleed again like last time 😢 it's so hard!!

@Melisss @Hopingforno2in2023 anyone feeling cramps inside yet ? I’ve had some tonight worrying me sick

@Millie89xx I would say I have no symptoms. Maybe yesterday I felt a bit off but to be honest at this point I don't know what is real anymore or just my imagination 😅

From all the other comments on here it seems that cramping is a good sign so try not too worry to much. I know it's hard.

@Melisss ohhhh same ! It’s probably all in my head it’s like inside cramps then goes and then achey on side .. I’m gonna get an early night try forget about it for now thanks hun

@Millie89xx @Melisss it's so hard, I second guessed everything too, then I'm like is that even a pain or am I making it up 🙈🙈

@User491 I naively thought that after you get a positive pregnancy test you relax a bit but it does not seem like it's the case and the madness continues. I think my brain is going to melt at this rate 😅
I hope your pains are just normal and nothing bad happens.

@User491 mines 24th next Friday … 😳😂 thinking as positive as I can but I’m having wobbles was you the same or positive it was going to be good ? You had spotting too didn’t you ?

@LuckyPineapple I know it has settled me a bit, I've never had one of those before!!
Enjoy the naps, I must admit yesterday I felt tired and awfully sick last night, then today I feel exhausted, but just cannot for the life of me switch off 🙈

@Melisss sorry, I hope it's not making you anxious 🙈 I just think with ivf the worry to some extent doesn't go. I feel better now than what I did in the tww I think! Think it's just with the whole process, you just struggle to relax. I keep going through waves of worrying, then positivity 😂 hope this next week flies by for you ☺️

@Millie89xx I felt more positive than the first round, dates and things were more significant to us both, and I did have a good feeling, but i am still worried which is awful! I just think into everything too much 😬
Yeh I had a little bit on 6dp.
