Embryo transfer yesterday- would 1DP5DT be yesterday or today?

As the title says really… is the day of embryo transfer considered day 1 or day 0?

The day after transfer is 1dp :)

@Wishingandhoping23 my transfer wasn't great very uncomfortable and took longer than normal. My egg collection was grand. How about you? Having terrible headache though and thinking it's the cyclogest pessaries. Been on them for a week now.

@Ep2023 Tbh the transfer was easy, just a little discomfort down there like a smear.

My home test is on 28th. I'm trying not to be anxious. I've been looking out for symptoms even though I know it's too early to get one🙈

@Comfort2000 aww wish mine was. My transfer was so uncomfortable took over 25 minutes and I was in constant discomfort. My smears aren't the most straightforward to be fair so that explains why. My first transfer was a breeze in comparison though. So glad yours was too.

Hi both. Found the egg collection a dream actually - had Midazolam and Fentanyl and can’t really remember anything at all. I must react well to the drugs!

Collection was quick and easy too although I was more nervous for that than collection because I knew i wouldn’t be sedated.

The wait from collection to transfer was sooo long and I was always worrying about if they fertilised/developed/what grade they were… probably the worst part for me.

Now i’m just counting down the days until I can test! 😄

@Ep2023 I'm so sorry your collection was uncomfortable. The things we have to go through to see our little ones though🤦‍♀️

I'm 4dpt in the morning, what's even a good start to test early ? I've read 6dpt ? I'm thinking of testing early. My embryos were 5day embryos. What about you?

I cannot believe you were not sedated either not sure what they gave me. It was my transfer that was more than uncomfortable but its done and will be worth it. Fingers crossed!!

@Comfort2000 omg, sorry i meant transfer not collection!! Absolutely wouldn’t have done collection without sedation 😅

we transferred a 5 day embryo/blastocyst (is that the same thing?) graded 4AA.

@Ep2023 I’m thinking of testing early too but also nervous to look at the result! I’ve seen others get results (albeit very faint) at 4dp5dt but others I know personally didn’t get a result until 12dp5dt.

I transferred a 5day blastocyst (Grade 5AA) and I'm 3dpt today.

I'm nervous about testing early. I'll see if I can hold on to 12dpt before testing.

I got into an altercation with a colleague at work last night. I usually wouldn't react to what my colleague did but I don't know if the medications I'm taking contributed to it. I tried avoiding it but now I'm scared if it might affect implantation or mess with my hormones. I'm really worried😟
What do you both think ?

@Comfort2000 was it a physical altercation? I wouldn't worry about it try and forget about it best way so you aren't stressing more. Could you speak to them and sort it out so you aren't stressing more?

My clinic want a test done 11dpt. We transferred an A- embryo. Not sure if the grading is it against the other embryos or a standard?

We are away for a few days so I'm hoping my mind is elsewhere to stop me from testing early. I've had a bit of cramping etc. But could just be normal week before period is due cramping. Who knows! Anyone else any signs?

I tested and bfn. I really shouldn't have. So deflated 🙄 but I'll leave it now for a bit. More I think about it I'm like wtf was I thinking.

4dpt is really really too early.
I did have a positive line on 4dpt, but I didnt see it until the next day, and thought it was an evap line.
It was only by day 6 that I could see the line before the test was dry, and was sure it wasnt an evap.

And so many people have squinters at 9dpt, and things go on to be normal!

@Ep2023 I appreciate your advice. It was a physical altercation but I'm no longer worried about it, I don't want anything that'll add to the stress of TWW.

@Ep2023 4dpt seems too early. Give it a few more days or better still hold out until the OTD.? I know it's hard not to overthink everything but try to relax and distract yourself with something.

I'm just counting down to the OTD. I'm 6dp5dt today and I haven't felt any symptom, I don't know if i should be worried. I'll just continue to distract myself from testing early.

@Comfort2000 I'm good, very tired the last couple days though. When is your OTD again? Mine is sat. We are away this week on holiday & my other half took our wee one to the park and I can't keep my eyes open 😴
I tested yesterday got a faint line. I needed to after testing on sat at 4dp5dt. I'm 8dp5dt now.
