Has anyone used one of these before?

I sent my sample away this morning first thing and just wondering the timescale everyone received results in? Online it says 2 working days so thinking it won’t be until Monday now 🙈🙈🙈

@Ellenn I was exactly the same, felt something wasn't right and that tests weren't progressing as quickly as in my successful cycle. Mine did go up to over 2000, but had really stalled by then. Seeing what was happening with the hcg numbers helped prepare me this time.

I am waiting for the ok today to start stims on a fresh cycle after my baseline scan yesterday. I'm 43 now so know the odds are slim, but wanted one last shot at a sibling

@kirstysmbc how exciting, good luck I hope it all goes well 🙏 ivf is one of those things although it hurts when it doesn’t go well you would regret it if you didn’t try. Did you conceive through ivf for your last pregnancy? I’m so jealous of those people who can get pregnant without having to go through treatment!

@Ellenn Thank you 😊 I'm a solo mum, so did IVF with donor sperm for my daughter, same again this time round. And yes, also jealous of people who don't have the challenges and costs of IVF to contend with when thinking about a family...

@Ellenn Did you do the second blood test? When do you think you'll get results?

@kirstysmbc yes got the medichecks through the door this morning and did it asap! I’m thinking maybe Friday morning for results? The post is 24 hr guaranteed so hopefully reaches lab tomorrow 🤞 nerve wracking but I’ve promised my partner if this result is ok (I’m hoping for around 500 if it’s been doubling) I won’t do anymore 🤣

That’s amazing hats off to you doing it on your own 💪 how old is your daughter now? Must be difficult saving up the money on your own too!

My daughter is almost 19 months now, I was hoping for about a 2 year age gap, but obviously nothing is that easy with IVF

@kirstysmbc i really hope so 🤞just started my lubion yesterday and it’s ok to inject but super painful afterwards - any tips/did you find this? Like I can’t even touch the area where I injected.

aw that’s a lovely age 😍 yeh fertility treatments are just impossible to plan things like timing with aren’t they. Hopefully this round might result in a younger sibling for her!

@Ellenn Fingers crossed for some fabulous results today! With the lubion, I generally found it could sting a tiny bit when I did it, but didn't hurt for long after unless I nipped a blood vessel. I then got horrid bruises and it was very painful. Are you doing them in your stomach? I know lots of people find ice or numbing cream helpful.

@kirstysmbc yeh it’s weird the injection is absolutely fine but afterwards the area is really painful. Even the one I did on Wednesday the area is really sensitive still. I’m going to run out of space at this rate 🙈

how is your cycle going, you’ve started stims now? When is your first scan?

@Ellenn Wednesday next week, so will be day 7. I'm quite nervous as my amh and afc are much lower than in my last cycle, and I had a small cyst at baseline too. But trying to be zen about it and just let what will be, be!

I hope the lubion injections get easier for you.

I did lubion for 12 weeks. It's an absolute stinger. Sadly nothing made much difference with me but I did get pregnant so worth all the pain xx
