2WW after FET

Looking for some buddies who have had a transfer recently. I had my frozen transfer on Tuesday 👀 looking for any suggestions to try and make me forget about it and not obsess too much 🙈

@DauntedAF also really not enjoying this weekend after finding out the medichecks results. Do you know when you feel you always end up on the wrong side is statistics and I just for once wanted to have a nice number it was positive but never mind 🤷‍♀️ I’ve got the tests but now definitely not feeling like I need to pee 🙈

Ok finally managed to pee 🙈 clearblue came up with pregnant quite quickly and saying 2-3 wks so looks like my levels are rising. Don’t have any FRERs or anything to compare to but did a boots urine test and will repeat it on Tuesday, to see if any obvious progression! No idea how dark it should be at 12dp5dt now

trying not to get my hopes up yet as so long to go yet

@Sheepsheeps hey! I’m doing ok, got my beta confirmed to be doubling as repeated the bloods and my clearblue went to 3+ wks so I’m just really in the horrible wait until scan to see if viable 🤷‍♀️ this wait is even worse than 2ww I feel…

@Ellenn hi ya! I tested positive on Friday but then had horrendous cramps all night long and in the early hours ☹️ had my hcg bloods done yesterday afternoon at my clinic and they've come back as 160 which they're pleased with. I've ordered a home hcg test though and will test as soon as it arrives. Not sure if it's a good or a bad thing to test myself?? Are the home blood tests as accurate as the clinic blood tests? I'm now worried if the levels come back lower than my clinics it'll put me into a whole new world of panic 🙈🙈 I totally get what you mean. This next 2ww for the scan is horrendous!!! Xx

@Sheepsheeps amazing 🥰 congrats! Tentatively of course 🙈 the wait is making me super paranoid. How far are you now? I almost wish I hadn’t done any bloods as I think it made me more paranoid with everyone getting such higher numbers than me but oh well! My partner has told me not to do anymore as it would just make me anxious which I think is probably true ….

when is your scan booked for?

@Ellenn I'm only a day behind you I think as my OTD was Friday 18th. Scan booked for w/c 5th September. I've ordered my blood test kit but now I'm unsure whether or not it's a good idea?! My clinic won't accept the finger prick home tests as an "official" result and said all blood tests must be done there in order to be official! I think their £200 fee might have something to do with it..... 🤔🤔

@Sheepsheeps oh wow that is so expensive!! My cycle is via nhs and I asked them about bloods and they were like we don’t do them and couldn’t advise on any private bloods taken 🤷‍♀️ so i didn’t manage to get any reassurance at all!

if you have ordered it might as well do it now! Plus I think it’s only useful when your levels are still quite low as they should be doubling properly. I think once they get higher they don’t go up as quickly so maybe harder to interpret?

that’s cool we are the same stages. I’m a bit worried getting past 6+3 wks as that’s when I miscarried last transfer 😢 so I just need to get through this week and at least I will be further along than before 🤞 it’s so scary waiting for the scan isn’t is, I’m constantly checking for blood 🙈

@Ellenn I know its absolutely terrifying but there really is nothing either of us can do to improve our chances, just hope and pray our little embryos can hold on tight! We've got the added worry that ours are not genetically tested so if we make it to 10weeks we will have the added stress of waiting for an NIPT test result. We've only been given a 5% chance of a normal pregnancy 😔😔

@Ellenn sorry I forgot to ask what your blood test levels were at each stage?
My first one at 5w3d was 164. I'm hoping my test kit will arrive tomorrow so I can test ASAP (not that I'm absolutely shi**ing myself or anything similar..... xx

@Sheepsheeps why do they suspect it would be abnormal is it cause of your age? I thought if it implant then it may have a higher chance of being ok? When I asked my embryologist about genetic testing they said actually even if come back abnormal they think it can self-correct?

so my bloods were 55 at 4 wks and then 495 at 4+6 wks. I was quite worried about the first result but it’s doubling over normal time period and I did a clearblue which came back 3+ so I think my levels are still going up 🤞🤞🤞 I think it’s not necessarily the initial level that’s important but the level it is increasing to.

@Ellenn oh no that's made me feel even worse as my levels are really low compared to yours ☹️ Yes because I'm old and my husband has shite sperm the odds are stacked against us 😔😔

@Sheepsheeps you can’t compare the levels with others at all as it’s about it going up in a normal time frame. Are you calculating your dates properly? I thought on Monday you would be earlier than that at the blood test? As I’m currently 5+6 wks today (transfer on 1st august with blastocyst)

I'm 5+5 according to my clinic. FET on 4th August xx

@Sheepsheeps weird you shoudl check they haven’t miscalculated as if it was a 5 day embryo you should be 5+3 wks as you would be 3 days behind me! (I transferred on the 1st!) When I asked about dates etc for my clinic the nurse got totally confused and I ended up talking her through it 🤣

No today you would be 5+3 wks 🙂 there are quite a few online calculators you could use to check/confirm!
