Looking for some buddies who have had a transfer recently. I had my frozen transfer on Tuesday 👀 looking for any suggestions to try and make me forget about it and not obsess too much 🙈

Yes possibly! Are you able to get yourself a FRER test? Much clearer and pick up less hcg 🤞 🤞😬 x

Emmcm7 · 12/08/2023 09:29

@DauntedAF
had a little tweak I think I can see something, go get that first response 😂

@DauntedAF Id say thats definitely a line, if it came up during the normal time! Its not even a squinter!
However, pink dye tests are more reliable! or a digital!

Hey guys, got my medichecks beta back and it’s 55 so I’m not too hopeful (taken on 9dp5dt). Wonder if might end up biochemical. I’ve ordered another medichecks test to see if hcg rising at all but I’m pretty gutted I have to go through this all again 😭 wish it had either been negative or a good number.

@Ellenn oh I'm sorry!
But on another board, this lady did her beta on 9dpt as well abd only got a 16,but subsequent tests, 48h apart came back as 29, 200ish and 500ish, and it turned out to be viable!

So don't lose all hope just yet, even if it is probably a good idea to prepare yourself for things not evolving.

Ellenn · 12/08/2023 12:26

@ASGIRC i think sometimes it can. In my biochemical last year the first hcg was 75 so this time it’s even lower than that 🤷‍♀️ just feel so frustrating with my body letting embryos implant which just don’t work out.

@Ellenn @ASGIRC how are you both and all? I'm on the pessaries now, not as bad as I thought but still rank! 😆
Tiredness is a killer though. Transfer booked for Tuesday 🥰 fingers crosse

Hope you are all doing well! Not long for you both.

DauntedAF · 13/08/2023 05:48

Tested again this morning. Digital is still saying pregnant and then the clear blue has a line also. But it's still faint, similar to yesterday. So no progression. I was also head in the toilet last night sick from I suspect either a bug My kid had during the week or a dodgy lunch . This can't be good for baby either. My gut tells me tomorrow's news isnt going to be great but out of my control I guess

Ep2023 · 13/08/2023 06:44

@DauntedAF I hope its better thank you think tomorrow. Try and keep busy today! I hope you're OK. Are you still feeling sick?

Sheepsheeps · 13/08/2023 08:44

Hi everyone,
I'm now 9dpt and am getting period like pain cramps 😔 I haven't tested yet as I don't want to build my hopes up for it only to fail.
Anyone else getting cramps similar to if they're about to have their period? I'm so worried this has failed. At least if I don't test I can live a few more days in hope.... xx

Ellenn · 13/08/2023 09:46

@Sheepsheeps I get cramps around that time in all of my transfers (and they have all been positive on OTD although no baby yet) so you are not out!! Got my fingers crossed for you! When is your OTD?

@DauntedAF how many days are you now?

im going to get some urine tests today to see what my line is like and a clearblue to see if it looks like it it progressing I really hope it is 🤞

Let me know how you go with the urine tests. This weekend is killing me!

I'm 6+2 and still having some cramps, so that's definitely not a symptom that it didn't take.

@DauntedAF hCG doubles every 2 days. After 9dpt I started only testing every other day, and could see a progression, as every day seemed... Disappointing, with the lack of progression.
As for beibg good for baby... Olivia, on the July thread had a stomach bug just before transfer and then pneumonia just after, and the little baby is still in there, so try not to think the worst!
Does your clinic do betas?

DauntedAF · 13/08/2023 10:37

Thanks @ASGIRC that's really reassuring. Yep have betas tomorrow so will hopefully have more insight tomorrow afternoon

Thank you for your reassuring words. Did you start getting cramps before you tested positive? They feel just like my period is about to start. Very heavy feeling in my uterus and sharp pain in my groin mixed with dull aching cramps.
I had a horrible cold a week before my transfer and I still can't shake it off. Can't help but feel my immune system is rock bottom xx

ASGIRC · 13/08/2023 12:17

@Sheepsheeps no... My cramps are very sporadic. Didnt have any when my period was due. Theyve kinda started now.
But loads of people have had cramps from the start. Im not a very good example, as Ive barely had any symptoms of anything.

That's my worry as everyone I know that's had a positive result had no symptoms at all during the 2ww xx

ASGIRC · 13/08/2023 12:35

@Sheepsheeps the July thread is full of positive results with loads of symptoms in the 2ww. I was the only one that had none!

Sheepsheeps · 13/08/2023 12:39

@ASGIRC that's good to know!
I think I'm going to hang on until next Friday before I test.
Have you ever done a home hgc blood test? Xx

ASGIRC · 13/08/2023 12:42

@Sheepsheeps no, my clinic does betas on OTD, so I just had that done.
And theyre cheap, even if you do it in a lab, where I am (about €20). I ended up not getting a repeat one, as too much time had passed since the first, and the results might not have been the expected ones.

Ellenn · 13/08/2023 16:18

@Sheepsheeps i usually have cramps around the time when my period would be due in my transfers so haven’t always tested! I hope your period stays away 🤞🤞🤞

if you buy the medichecks beta test make sure to tick no doctors comments and you will get result much faster!

Sheepsheeps · 13/08/2023 16:20

@Ellenn hi! Thank you for this, I'm desperately trying not to worry but it's hard not to!
Thanks for the tip on the blood test! Did you order yours direct from their website? Xx

Ellenn · 13/08/2023 16:52

@Sheepsheeps yes I did 😊 someone had told me if you tick no doctors comments you will get the result same day as test arrives or next morning! I got mine within 36 hrs of arrival at lab. They are quite expensive but definitely easy to do/would recommend if worrying about it and your clinic isn’t going to take bloods! I’m now 12dp5dt and still get cramps on/off not super painful but you are aware of them

My test day is Friday the 18th so 5 more sleeps to go!!!! 🙈🙈
What does ODT stand for? Sorry I'm not very good with all the abbreviations! Xx

Ellenn · 13/08/2023 17:01

@Sheepsheeps OTD is official test date! You don’t have long to go 🤞🤞🤞mine is on Tuesday but I did do a medichecks on Thursday just passed at 9dp5dt as I was sneaky 🤣
