oops may have already done it! It’s positive! But I’m now worried it might have been a false positive because of the trigger? Monday

@BiscuitLover3678 a week earlier than test date could defo still be the trigger. Try to wait until day ten if you must test early. When would that be?

What day was your trigger? We’ve had similar timings and mine was Wednesday 26th and definitely out the system as I tested it out! Hopefully yours should be gone by now too x

Saturday but I’m hoping frisbee is right!

Research says trigger injection can cause a false positive up to 10 days after its taken. So that’s means by Thursday it should be fine so I’ll check again then.

Wait! I’m an idiot. My trigger injection was the 26th april so I’m over 10 days now so it’s unlikely the positive was because of that right? When was your trigger shot @Frisbeee and when did you test and notice it changed?

@BiscuitLover3678 i thought we’d triggered on the same day!! Mine was definitely out of the system when I tested on Saturday morning which was exactly 10 days. I guess everyone’s different though and it probably also depends on your doseage. Do you remember what and how much you had?

I don’t unfortunately. Would the amount you have to trigger be similar to the amount of stims you had?

Oh ok, where I was reading it said ten days. I also spoke to someone today who said that you can get results this early. I need to not get too excited then 🙈 there is clearly too much variation!

@BiscuitLover3678 im not sure how they calculate the trigger dose. Actually I had one trigger one my first cycle but in this one they gave me two different trigger meds so it varies massively. Keeping everything crossed that your trigger is out & this is your BFP!! I’m going to try & be strong and not test for a couple of days now but it’s just so difficult!!

@Frisbeee @BiscuitLover3678 just do what is right for you. If testing every day helps then do it. Only you know what will help your mental health x

Thanks! I actually feel more positive atm. It’s just nice to think there is hope after so long lol. How are you?

@BiscuitLover3678 Pleased to hear you’re feeling positive. It’s so hard during this wait so having hope is needed to get you through! I’m feeling surprisingly positive too, the clinic did say our chances were low due to embryo quality but you never know!

Have you tested again this morning or are you going to wait? My husband has told me off for wanting to test again before the weekend haha!!

I’ve had a bit of brown spotting this morning (sorry TMI!!) but hoping it’s from implantation, fingers crossed anyway!

@Frisbeee thank you for asking! in total denial haha - mainly because I feel no different at all. If anything I'm a bit more anxious now than I was in the 2WW. I have a scan booked in two weeks time but they don't do blood tests as they said there is no need if I'm not bleeding (which I'm not) although I do have the fear every time I go to the loo as to what I'm going to find. I think that's normal. It's just that with the sheer amount of water I'm drinking, I'm in the loo a lot! I would say that I'm starving in the night (which I never am) and I feel tired but that could just be life catching up after the last two weeks xx

That sounds like how I was when I was pregnant with my firstborn! I used to have a picnic in the middle of the night.
It all sounds positive. Look after yourself and I hope the wait doesn’t feel too long.

Not yet but I probably will just to see what happens. Spotting is exciting!
