@CR7 It went well! It was a lot quicker than my last two which I was grateful for because I just wanted to wee!

Had a 4AA transferred and have a 4AB and 3BB going on freeze. They said I have some that are still developing so there could be more that are maybe a bit slow? Never heard of this before. Happy but nervous. OTD on the 13th.

@StaceyWS88 yes I had a slow one also. Very normal. So so glad it went well for you. Had forgotten this was your third transfer same as me!!

Had 1st stims scan this morning and only 1 follicle that they really seemed to count. Anyone else had this?

I've had 5 days of stims. I'm on a flare protocol due to low amh

@IVFlife ooh I haven't heard of that. My amh is mega low so I did duo stim but I'll look into what you did x

@Frisbeee hi hun am so sorry to hear your news :( have you spoken to the doctor is it maybe best you try another round of egg collection and take it from there? Just thinking of you and your mental state as Well. I also have embryos which weren't best of quality so I decided not to use them in transfer but of course do what feels right! Please don't lose hope!

@IVFlife I was the sans only 1 follicle and had 1 egg extracted today. Fingers crossed it is mature and fertilised in the morning and lasts until day 3 and/or 5 for transfer. It only takes 1, so try to stay positive. You may also have more that grow over the next few days of stims.

Did they go ahead ok with only 1 folicle. I'm worried my clinic will cancel unless more appear.

Yes they gave me the choice and said if I cancelled there is no saying I will have more next time. So, I thought that I need to give it a go.

Unfortunately, we have had news that the egg shows abnormal fertilisation and this cycle has now been ended. Will find out what our next steps later today for round two.

@Vallef thanks for your supportive message, I don’t know what id do without this forum at the moment 😊
the doctor and embryologist did still say they thought a day 3 double transfer was the best course of action so we went with it and clinging to the small amount of hope. I’m not sure how we’ll move forward after this cycle though. You’re right, it’s the mental health side that’s the toughest and literally nothing can prepare you for that.

@Frisbeee I know what you mean it has been so helpfull speaking to all you ladies who understand what were going through it's different with family and friends not that they know in my case and am sure in alot of people's lives as its such a personal thing. But please please don't give up. My oncologist wanted me to have a hysterectomy at 30 and I said no I want a baby. It's been 6 years but I will persevere the things worth having take a long time to come for some people unfortunately. I will recommend my doctor forever I know it's difficult because it's in Greece but my 2nd blood test came back and am at 1050 I think so now have a scan date for the 12th May. Am so so scared as I miscaried at 6 weeks last time but this doctor has managed to make me pregnant both times. He knows what he is doing and if anyone wants details and support please let me know. You would be so surprised how many people I see in the clinic from abroad all over. I think if you can and your health allows it is to comit into another cycle while your body is already high on the medication from this round as well. I've heard its meant to be better not to leave a big gap between treatments.

I’ve been emotional all morning. Somehow got it in my head that it’s not going to work again so I’m just unreasonably sad and stressed!

@StaceyWS88 all the emotions are natural. We are all chock full of drugs. Just lean into it. Watch some sh1t on tv. Make yourself something delicious for lunch xx
