Hi everyone
I am on day 4 following embryo transfer. Feel so sick with anxiety today. Last time it was successfully I had spotting on day 2 but unluckily i misscaried at week 6. This time nothing. My noobs feel tight which I know if the progesterone and day 1 and 2 had some mild cramping lower down but yesterday and today nothing yet. So sick thinking it hasn't worked and I have another 6 days of this. I know if it hasn't worked there's nothing I can do about it but just feel so tired. This is our 4th round following womb cancer 5 years ago and knowing this medication can bring the cancer back as well. Just feel lifes so unfair. Feel like crying but don't want hubby to see me 😢

Hello, hope it's ok to join this thread with a question and hope you're all doing as well as possible in your journeys.

I'm 3dpt from my first ever embryo transfer, a frozen one to be precise. I'm on 400mg Cyclogest and 25mg Lubion injections, both x2 daily.
The transfer cycle was natural modified, no oestrogen priming, with Gonasi trigger 10 days ago. Can I ask if anyone else on a similar luteal support protocol has experienced nausea during the TWW and it turned out to be just a side effects form the meds?

Trying not to read too much in the nausea I've experienced this morning, especially since it's early days, but it's really hard!! I had the HCG trigger twice before for EC and mock cycle and it did not cause me any nausea. I also had the same dosage of Cyclogest and Lubion for my mock cycle and that didn't cauase me nausea either, although that was only for 4.5 days and I'm now 7 days in. I've had 4 previous pregnancies, all natural and all ended in MC sadly and with all bar the last one, I experienced episodes of nausea and sore swollen breasts from several days before the first day of missed period, with the 4th I didn't till after a PPT and that was the only time I was supported with extra progesterone (2 x 400mg Cyclogest daily from 1DPO)

Still here in limbo. Only gone to 143 from 105 so it’s clearly no viable. Going for a scan wed as they’re worried about ectopic. Exhausted.

@Sd183 I am so sorry for what you are going through- I hope it is not ectopic, keeping my fingers crossed. It’s such a rough journey. My first pregnancy was an ectopic- if you ever have the need to chat - let me know.

For all others waiting - good luck! I literally had symptoms that were different with all my 3 pregnancies (but also 3 miscarriages) so hard to read into symptoms in TWW!

I’ve had a very stressful 2 weeks - needed to fix my Visa in the Netherlands and it was all delayed so had to reschedule flights- missed my appointment at the doc.. so was super afraid my transfer would be cancelled but luckily got everything sorted out with private clinics in the Netherlands- my gosh!

Tentative transfer date 11th of May! Finally some progress. Feeling ok so far on all the meds!

@Irisjj have you ever had a positive test with bo symptoms? This is my 4th round but only my 3rd was positive but resulted in misscariage. Am so upset because day 1 and 2 I had cramping but since day 3 to today day 5 I feel absolutely nothing even my boobs have started feeling less pain. I feel so shitty as if I've already lost them and I keep taking the meds and think what's the point.

@Sd183 I am so so sorry your going through this I cannot imagine but I am triying to send you all the strength and love to get through this and to not give up no matter what happens xxx

@Vallef yes last time I had zero symptoms- but that was a chemical. My sister in law is now 16 weeks pregnant and also had zero symptoms till 6 weeks. You’re not out yet! Keep hoping, I know its hard.. but its out of your control ❤️

@Vallef I’m only 4+5 but I’ve had zero symptoms except tender boobs but even that symptom fluctuates and is probably just due to the progesterone xx

@Sd183 thinking of you. I remember being in a similar situation and it’s so bloody hard and stressful. For me I think the pregnancy would have ended sooner but was prolonged by the ivf drugs, but of course you have to keep taking them until you get definite tests back. So you spend longer in limbo. Sending hugs x

@Irisjj and @MS2692 thank you it helps to know there's other with no symptoms. What does 4 +5 mean? Sorry am triying to grasp different things since I joined the chat. I think today I reached catatonic stage don't know of its the medication as well but just been so upset as if I've already given up but your msgs have really helped thank you.

I know what you mean it is reassuring to hear from others I felt the same! I was really worried I haven’t had any nausea symptoms and the fact that my only symptom (being tender boobs) comes and goes xx

@MS2692 congrats hun hope it all continues going brilliantly for you. This journey is just so difficult on so many levels and the more times we have to do it I think it chips abit away from your soul so gd news is always a breath of fresh air. I test on Saturday 29th and just hope for the best. I read somewhere that implantation on a frozen round can even happen on day 5 so was hoping for anything but have felt zilch.

@Vallef thank you! I had my OTD yesterday with a beta blood test which came back with 1158 (I don’t know what the numbers mean but the nurse said it was a good number) and now have 3 weeks of waiting until 7 week scan (if all is well until then!) so now I’m just spending all day every day panicking that I will lose it in the next 3 weeks, like you say, it never gets easier and I was frustrated today as I thought how normal pregnancies at this early stage people are excited and happy whereas I’m just a ball of anxiety 😔 but of course I’m super grateful I’ve got this far!

I know what you mean I didn’t have any symptoms so was certain it hadn’t worked and tested on 10dp5dt as was adamant it hadn’t and another forum I was on the majority of ladies also said they had no symptoms even up to OTD so I do think it’s totally normal xx

We have two embryos AB and BB that are ready to biopsy today. The third is still growing but not ready. It looks like we will have two embryos and now the 2 week wait begins for viability results.

sonographer was confident that I’ve miscarried as she could see no evidence of the embryo on the scans and my womb lining suggests there’s nothing there. So hopefully the bloods come back and show a decline so that we can put this to bed and move on. I cant believe I’m on a position to wish that this would happen. What a whirlwind.

Bloods have still gone up! So now they’re very concerned about ectopic and I’ve been referred to the local EPU. Only ulcer lining being that the EPU is 5 minutes away as opposed to an hour for the clinic. The chaos is real.

@Sd183 im so sorry. This is super hectic. Pls go there indeed, they will probably give you methotrexate shots (at least that was my treatment since they couldn’t locate the sac and bloods didn’t come down). Take care - thinking of you ❤️
