Thought I'd start a thread for those starting rounds in the next few months.

I'm 36. TTC for 6 years. This will be my 4th transfer. It's a double embryo FET in Cyprus.

I feel like 2WW hasn't really started yet, I was just minding them the extra 2 days... the real torture starts by the end of the week at what would be implantation time... that's when your mind really starts messing with you 😒

Glad your not overly anxious yet. Hopefully it will fly by for you. Have you got anything planned?

I'm struggling with the 2ww, I keep wanting to test! First time I think I waited till day 9 and the next time I caved at day 6 as I thought I felt some nausea (probably the meds though!)...but testing early just makes the wait till beta day longer and then there's worries about whether lines are progressing or not!

What day are you @Herewegoagain881 ? My OTD is 8th April...

Last time the second week drove me crazy, but this time @PMAmostofthetime I actually have to travel with my boss for work Sunday to Wednesday so it should really help to distract me... when I get back I'll only have to wait 2 days to be put out of my misery 😌

@Herewegoagain881 what day are you on? I feel like I'd be the same as you and want to test so I'm glad you shared your experience of making it worse.

I know I so envy people who are like I didn't have any idea I was 14 weeks of when I tested! So unfair x

Im 28 with two naturally conceived children. My husband and I want another and are going to turkey very soon. All i know is, if i have embryos and theyre tranfered in. I will not take a pregnancy test! I hate the anxiety and will just book a scan 4 weeks after i get home. I have heaps of cyclogest anyway.

@LuckyNovember @PMAmostofthetime I had my transfer mid day on Friday but my test date is also 8th as they make us wait 2 full weeks! So I'm just over 4dp5dt at the moment.

I'll be testing with a FRER 10dp5dt. I absolutely 100% recommend NOT testing early. If it's positive you'll worry it's the trigger, if the lines don't progress you'll worry its a chemical. If you do have a chemical then you probably don't want to know about it. If it's negative then it's pointless because it's too early.

I've seen so many ladies on here lose the plot after 6-8 dpt. It's so easily done though, the urge is immense, I'm a total poas addict. Used to buy the Amazon cheapies and do 3 a day.

If I had unlimited money I'd get 2x bloods at 9dp and 11dp, but that's 200 quid so no thanks.

So mines officially the 9th but I'll test on the 7th. That's 15 dpo. Good enough for me

That's harsh @Herewegoagain881 ... but at least you can be sure of the results at that stage! My clinic always does 14 days post EC.

I agree with you and AliceAbsolum, I only want to get bad news once, no early tests for me... but indeed it was around 7dp5dt last time that nearly broke me!!

Yeah I agree with you girls. When it comes to it I’ll def not be testing early

@Becomingmom it's amazing that you have 2, how did you decide to go to Turkey?

@Herewegoagain881 I think mine will be 13th 14 days after transfer but I will find out for sure tomorrow I have the FRER ready. Even then I won't be happy until the scan at week 3 to show it's all going ok and then not until 12 weeks incase of MC and then I may relax a little after 20 weeks 🙈.

@AliceAbsolum so if my 5 day transfer goes ahead tomorrow can I test with a FRER on 10dpt?
We all know there's no chance of me paying for bloods- I don't like having them done for free, so I certainly wouldn't pay for it and cause myself more anxiety 🤣

I get they are more accurate though, I was shocked that the clinics don't do bloods as standard.

I'm the same I have been through heaps of wasy@home Amazon tests.

What's your recommendations on tests ladies?

@PMAmostofthetime I’m a whole mix of things at the moment - excited, nervous and so worried about how to cope if it doesn’t happen or does then MC or something. I’m not worried about the actual ET itself as I think it’s a similar-ish process to the IUI I’ve had.
I’ve got no idea about when they will tell me to test though so hopefully find out tomorrow.
I’ve got the rest of this week booked off, training course mon & tues then a nice girls weekend next weekend so hopefully it’s enough to keep me distracted.

My clinic does bloods as standard but as OTD is a Sunday I'd have to wait another day so I'll POAS

OTD is 13dp5dt, but my previous clinic was 11dp5dt - I'll probably test on day 11 (this Friday!).

@Steph2345 I've just written a list of questions for the clinic tomorrow if there's some there for me to go in for!

which include:
When do I test?

What happens is it's negative ?

What happens if I MC?

Did you check OH sperm quality? Did you check the eggs that didn't continue to develop?

So feeling completely the same- I'm excited that it could be the day tomorrow! That I officially become pregnant! I'm a little nervous about ET due to my annoying cervix and tilted womb and of course that there may not be any to transfer.
I'm glad you have some things planned, I have to work all of next week and I'm sure there will be that much to do after me being in and out that I'll work late to catch up then I have 10 days off so I'll definitely be off for test day. I'll fill my days then too.

@PMAmostofthetime same, I think my betas were a lot lower than what I've seen online so I didn't feel like I could relax I saw the scan! And then we just have to take each milestone as it comes.

In terms of tests, I mainly used these: 30 x Ultra Early - 10mIU Wide Width Pregnancy Test Strips (tests up to 6 days earlier) amazon.co.uk/dp/B00379DV16/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apan_i_Q5PZ81BPPNJJPTQCAJTS?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1]] and they worked fine for me, but I used a FRER on top of this test to confirm a positive test the first day I tested, and on beta day.

Morning all, I've mostly been hanging around reading updates and feeling in awe of how many of you knowledgeable you all are on this process. Not really posted much since the beginning as down reg took it out of me and work was insane, i decided not to tell my work.

I'm on day 6 menopur so off for a scan this morning to check progress. Fingers crossed. Had a nice swollen tummy last few days and some mild cramps so hoping its moving in the right direction, if i go to plan ec will be monday but i know its not always the case.

I was always drinking and/or peeing throughout stimms! Then there's the empty bladder for scans, full bladder for ET, who knew?!!

@Jampot36 I feel like I'm forever saying I need the loo, and I have to get up twice a night!
@LuckyNovember I'm dreading today with the full bladder as by the time I get to the clinic usually I'm bursting as it's so far away from me. I'll have to start drinking half hour away I think.
