Hi everyone,
I didn't see a thread for December so I created one. If it is repetitive please let me know. I can delete this one.

This is gonna be my second ICSI. We started due to male factor (Teratozoospermia) and along the way "discovered" mildly elevated NK, coagulation issues as well as subclinical hypothyroidism 😂😂 Hopefully the list ends here!

My period started later than expected so I started my stims 4 days ago. Retrieval/transfer will probably be early December. Is there anyone here in the same timeline?

Oh @Alexm06, that sounds so stressful. 48hrs to get a result back seems a bit of a stretch, could they not just try and call it through as urgent / plead with their lab for a Christmas favour? It's a shame they can't give you the lab's phone number to get the result yourself... Possibly pushing it a bit 😂😂
Have you got a scan date?
My OTD is day 11. I'm definitely going to hold out until then, maybe even the day after. Thought if I test early I'm going to stress myself out either way so think I'd rather wait to be in my own home and back from staying with family.

I massively underestimated how brutal IVF could be coming in to this, without all the extra of an infection on top.

@1stcycler thank you so much, that means a lot, I really appreciate it! I definitely shouldn’t have tested today although I think it will make it a bit easier if it is negative tomorrow as at least I will see it coming. Be thinking of you as you come up to your test day too. I’ll update you on what happens tomorrow.

@Cassia0101 I’m so sorry you are feeling this way I had my first failed fresh ivf transfer in august and I had bleeding the same as you 8dp I was devastated so can completely understand how drained you must be feeling sending you a virtual hug I hope you feel better soon xxx

Hello did someone know some thing about Redia ivf refund program. Did someone used?

Well looks like that's another chemical under my belt. Did a digital this morning still saying 1-2 and my FRER is lighter then when I did it 8dp5dt so yeah 100% I'm out. Good luck to you all guys! Hope you all have better outcomes x

Hey, just an update my blood test was negative.

Really hope you’re all doing okay especially coming up to Christmas. It can be such a stressful time.

Hey guys. I’m out too. Starting bleeding yesterday and it got heavy overnight. Blood test negative today. Love and hugs to you all. At least we can have a glass of wine over chrimbo. Hopefully see you all in future threads. X

Any paying patients who would be doing a round soon?
In Feb 2022, I was supposed to do a second round of IVF at Guys (on NHS) and to my surprise I found out I was already 6 weeks pregnant. So cancelled IVF. But I had already received all of the medications, which due to COVID, I’ve been asked to just dispose of them - but I don’t want them to go to waste - I’m sure someone else can make use of these esp those who don’t get help on NHS. Please message me if you are doing a paid round and I can give you a full list of what I have. I’d love to help all of those who are still trying in any way I can.
