After 3 miscarriages, 6 ETs and a bill of over £70,000 I honestly thought we’d cracked this IVF shit.
Yesterday (6dp5t) I Got a BFP.
Today I shave mild irregular cramping and passed a small pink jelly blob of mucous (half a head of a q tip) and a string of brown mucous-2cm long thickness of a thread…
Give me some hope guys. We had 2 5AAs transferred.

Having a terrible bleed this evening.
No pain yet… but expecting the worst to happen on the next few hours.

It seems to have stopped again. But I literally don’t know what to do or where to turn.
I’ve emailed my clinic. They generally don’t work weekends but I’ve had OOH replies before.

So no more bleeding overnight. No pain. Have a strange sensation occasionally but not a cramp of pain.
Clinic have asked for me to contact them first thing on Monday.
As it’s likely to be my 4th MC I can self refer to our local epu. So I think that’s my job first thing Monday.

With the number of mcs something is happening.
Have you had all the usual checks - thyroid levels, vitamin D, anti phospholipids and clotting issues ( there’s a big list of checks to rule bodily issues out I can dig it out if you want?) has your dps sperm been tested?
For me , I had 4 mcs in a row and it was either chromosome issues or immunes. I’ve managed to get further along with immune treatment then I ever have. Sometimes our bodies see the embryo as a foreign body ( as half dp genetic material)
I went private for most of the tests but you can get a Gp to do some of them and a referral to st Mary’s which deal with mcs ( although my appointment took quite a long time to come through)

I’m sorry that you have even been in the same position as me.
I’ve had no investigations as to why it’s all gone wrong. I’m now 40 so I think I’m just about out of time.

I’m 41 and now pregnant, you have time. There are 43 year olds on some of the I threads having their first babies.

My phone is about to die but if you search the zita west site they list all the tests you can have done that can cause mcs.
I did ivf with argc and then immunes with dr Gorgy. Dr Shehata is also good for recurrent mc and does immunes and your gp may be able to get an nhs referral for him

Had scan at my local epau. What lovely lovely people.
Scan- gestational sac has enlarged and measurements match gestational age. However, although there is the hint of something, no yolk sac or embryo could be seen.
My bHCG is only 19000 and they would have expected it to be about 38000.
The plan is for them to have a consultant chat tomorrow morning and then we can make a plan. So still in limbo.
I have no pregnancy signs so I know what’s coming really.
