After 3 miscarriages, 6 ETs and a bill of over £70,000 I honestly thought we’d cracked this IVF shit.
Yesterday (6dp5t) I Got a BFP.
Today I shave mild irregular cramping and passed a small pink jelly blob of mucous (half a head of a q tip) and a string of brown mucous-2cm long thickness of a thread…
Give me some hope guys. We had 2 5AAs transferred.

My boobs are occasionally a little tender and my resting heart rate is still elevated….
So….
If things continue I will see what the clinic say in a couple of weeks. According to online ivf calculators I am 5 weeks pregnant….
When do you normally get a viability scan?

With my private clinic I had one at 6 weeks, or just slightly before , wasn’t much there just a sac basically. It was more to rule out ectopic. Between 6-7 weeks there’s normally a foetal pole and a heartbeat seen.

Today has been really weird.
All my pregnancy signs have disappeared.
Poof! Gone just like that.
I’ve emailed the clinic but fear it’s bad news again.

Mine came and went a lot. It’s really normal but I remember how scary it was. I woke DH in the middle of the night once as my boobs weren’t sore anymore. I was so upset but 24hrs later they were sore again.

Did you get your second hcg result? If it was a good increase then that’s really positive. My clinic scanned at 6 weeks pregnant. Have yours not booked you in at any point?

My HCG went from 300 to a smidge under 500 in about 60 hours.
My scan is on the 31st-5 weeks post embryo transfer.
I’ve literally got zero signs of pregnancy and it’s made me worried (again)
Urghhh

I know under 1200 it can take up to 72 hours to double but I think the next hcgs will show if it’s progressing ok. It’s hard to wait so long for a scan 💐

My clinic does two viability scans, one 4 weeks after transfer and one 6 weeks after transfer.
There is the potential for this to cause extra stress if anything isn't seen at the first scan (their rationale is to detect an ectopic early but there might not be a visible heartbeat at that point which could be stressful and the only option is to wait).

I so hope that by having the scan 5 weeks after transfer you get some good news and some reassurance. 💐

I’ve got terrible left iliac fossa pain tonight so suspect things are on the move again.
It is just a case of wait and see. You’ve just got to go with it. :-(

My clinic have called me in today for an early scan… so we’ll at least be able to see if there is “something” there.

That’s good and hopefully rules out an ectopic too. Just a waiting game now for next hcg or scan x

Did anyone’s 5 week scan look like this and got a good outcome?

Had some bleeding last night and now passing dark brown mucous strings.
Have developed a really weird symptom- my nipples are incredibly itchy.

Oh no sorry to hear about the bleeding , how are you now? On the scan, I really can’t remember ( I never looked at the screen after my first mmc) you can google images of what it should look like though

What I don’t like about it compared to other Images is that it’s small. Irregular, no yolk sac.
All my pregnancy signs have gone except for intensely itchy nipples this morning.

Sorry I can't advise re the scan image and that you are having more bleeding and discharge.
It sounds a bit lame but can't offer anything other than there are strangers on the internet really rooting for you. 💐
Hope you have some real life support too.

What did the sonographer say about it ?

@Queenofsupreme they were very non commital. yes we can see a gestational sac but we’ll have to see what things are like at the end of the month. Nothing positive was said or negative.
