IVF August/September cycle buddies

Starting this thread early!

We've just booked for our second round to start August 2nd with egg collection September 8th.

I was on the Jan/Feb thread earlier this year.

@hansoo and @katree no symptoms here either. Hope you’re both doing ok - @hansoo I have been having very weird dreams too. But before starting ivf I had a dream that I was pregnant and I definitely (unfortunately!) wasn’t, so I am putting less symbolic importance in them even if they can be freakishly realistic. @MollyVanDer if I get a cold sore now it will be the first time I have ever considered it a positive !! But fingers crossed it is a good sign for you! V impressed that you are leaving it so long to test, you have nerves!!!

@99pctpractice - I know first time I'm ever happy to have a cold sore in the hope it means something.

My DW works in A&E and she's on shift until late Tuesday so we also wanted to take the test when neither of us were needing to work that day. If it's negative then we will likely both be on a downer and if it's positive then a chance to dream of what may come next...

If it helps @KatRee and @Hansoo I was googling "7dp5dt no symptoms" like mad a couple of weeks ago. Then I had some bleeding (I don't think it's implantation as it was day 8/9pt) and on day 10 I started to get a thin positive line, which I tested with a clearblue and said 2-3 weeks pregnant. That was only a week ago, so it's still early days, but I had no symptoms at all.

Hi everyone just catching up! I am very behind so many people have had transfers or are very close! It is so exciting I started my stims yesterday I have my scan on the 10th to check when I can trigger and hopefully transfer on the 15th! Baby dust to everyone! Xxx

@Lotusflower1990000 we are very close! I started stims on the 1st and having my scans booked for Weds 8th and Fri 10th, with hopes of trigger on Sat 11th and EC on the 13th!

Thank you @KatRee, @beachbum85 and @ngy21. First stims injection went ok last night - just feel really pleased to have moved on to the next stage!

@Lotusflower1990000 I started my stims yesterday and have my progress scans booked for 10th, 13th and 15th with the hope of EC on 17th so around the same time too 😊.

@Goldilocks2528 how did your first stims injection go in the service station?!

@2mumsandason great that it all went smoothly :) I think things will feel like they're speeding up quite a bit now!

Our Day 3 update went well today and we still have 6 embryos in the game: 4 are good quality and 2 are average. So ET will be Tuesday morning, hoping that at least one will be doing well by then 🤞🏼 🤞🏼
The embryologist will call us first thing on Day 5 so that we can get an update on the phone together, and I don't have to get the news once I'm already in there for transfer without my partner, like last time - such a relief! And if they are similar development/quality as last time, we may be able to transfer 2... Feeling incredibly nervous already and it's still Sunday...

@beachbum85 congratulations on your embryos! Great news. I know what you mean about feeling nervous. I can’t settle to anything! praying we have one at least tomorrow at 12 but if we have 2 we will have them both back.

It does sound like no symptoms is pretty common, even when it's been a success @SerendipitySunshine. Have your address any symptoms now that you are a week past test day?

Glad you got a positive day 3 update @beachbum85- 🤞for Tuesday, but sounds very promising. Good that they will call you in the morning. I had my ET at 12:30 and had no morning update, so I no idea until I got there whether it was actually going ahead or not, which was really stressful. Hope you've got stuff to keep you occupied and relaxed during the wait until then xx

Not much at all @KatRee - I'm tired and have some slight cramps but very little, and it could be down to the lubion/cyclogest. I still test each day as I can't quite believe it.

@2mumsandason glad your injections well well :) excited for you to be on next stage!

Day 5 of transfer this wait is brutal got lot of cramping and sore back, hope everyone is doing well enjoy the rest of the weekend

Congratulations everyone.

Having a little panic right now. Excuse the details....I'm d11p5dt and I've a small amount of bleeding. My period is due tomorrow. I've not had any bleeding post embryo transfer so this has set me into a spin 😨

@MollyVanDer don’t panic - it could be late implantation bleeding or a little bit of irritation from pessaries if you’re using them? If it keeps on going I’d call your clinic for reassurance. My friend who has just given birth to her DS from IVF also had a haematoma which was like a small bruise in her uterus and that caused bleeding but didn’t harm her baby at all, it was just a scare for her. Hope you feel ok I know how worrying it must be
