We've just booked for our second round to start August 2nd with egg collection September 8th.

I was on the Jan/Feb thread earlier this year.

Thanks KatRee, nothing helps, I do believe I have my new obsession. I’m doing it alone, after the last time I kept it secret right to transfer day. I cheated and tested this morning but I’m scared it’s not true and scared it is wahhhhhhh

It’s a tense wait at each stage as it’s literally all out of your hands there isn’t much you can do except follow the advice. Crazy times.

Trying to catch up on all the activity. Welcome to all the new people, this group is amazing at keeping you sane and positive!

So my 3rd stims scan today showed a good increase in size and if I work out how to add a pic I'll show you my graph since Monday! EC is booked for Tuesday! Trigger tomorrow evening, had to set an alarm as its due at nearly midnight 😴.

@beachbum85 my work have been really good about the IVF and the isolation period. I have informed them it'll be a few extra days with my EC being delayed, they're completely fine with it.

@itsmschanandlerbong @Bluebonnet3 @Hansoo @KatRee how are you all getting on? Transfers Sunday /Monday? I'm so excited for you all! Sending extra love and positivity your way!

@Gensola take it from me the extra few days waiting and extra meds, however frustrating, will do the follicles a world of good! I actually gasped today when I saw the size of them on the scan.

Like most of you my hubby is pretty good with driving, jabs, and just being there doing stuff round the house when I'm all tired out. But unfortunately has little to do with the process and hasn't really got involved apart from nodding when I talk about it 🤣

Update day 3. All embroyos progressing. 1 is looking slower in development

Embryo 1 has 12 cells
Embryo 2 has 8 cells
Embryo 3 has 9 cells
Embryo 4 has 5 cells

Number of cells isn't necessarily signifying the strongest as the cells have not been tested yet.

I'm feeling a little bit down after my call from the clinic. The embryos are still hanging on, but their quality has declined since yesterday. They still advised me to book 5 day transfer for Monday, but it's possible that we won't have any to transfer. I know this has always been a possibility, but up until yesterday they thought it was a pretty small possibility and now it's more likely

@TanBr - I hate the waiting, it's so hard to think about anything else. When is your official test day?

@Nerdalert - Great to see your folliclesare making good progress and your EC is now in sight!

@KatRee sorry to hear this - have been through this before myself and know how disappointing and upsetting it is, keeping everything crossed that they perk up for you
I am in a lot of discomfort now, bloated and boobs are killing me. Really hope the scan on Monday is good and they let me trigger that night.

@KatRee I'm sorry to hear it's wasn't good news from the clinic today and can totally understand your disappointment :( Sending you a big hug and positive thoughts... If I remember correctly, you had quite a few embryos so hopefully at least 1 will hang on till Monday. You really only need the one... I'm keeping everything crossed for you xx

@Bluebonnet3 I'm sorry about the drop-off but very glad to hear you have more fertilised than last time and I hope they're all going strong! have you heard back about your transfer date?
I was catsitting for friends last weekend and loved it :) we're doing some DIY today and going to visit some friends out of town tomorrow so that should keep me busy before Monday's scan! Enjoy it with your furry friend xx

@Gensola that's really great - amazing numbers and fingers crossed for Monday! Sorry about the discomfort though... I also have to continue stimming over the weekend and rescan on Monday - there were 8 follicles yd between 10-15mm - and I'm super bloated too.

@Nerdalert that's great progress and a really good number of follicles! Best of luck with your trigger tonight and for Monday! I'm glad your work has been understanding and flexible so the date change wasn't stressful. I need to move my leave too, but my manage is really great with it all, thankfully :)

@TanBr welcome and best of luck! Waiting is so, so hard but you're almost there!

@Goldilocks2528 it could be that they think your response will be similar with a higher dose - that's definitely what happened in my case, same result (or actually 1 follicle less) as last time.

@foodiefil glad to hear you've started, but yes the bloating is a real pain! Hope it hasn't gotten too bad! When will your first scan be?

@Coops0406 hi again! Oct looks like ages away but really it's just over a month... I hope your period starts soon so you can start and hopefully then the time will fly for you xx

@katree I'm sorry to hear your news. Hopefully one makes it through.

In terms of transfer. It will be defo Monday as that's day 5. They don't work Sundays. I'm going to ring after 2 to get my joining instructions.

Apparently I have one front runner and three with a bit of catching up to do. So I am officially booked in for Monday transfer and crossing fingers to have something to freeze.

@katree so sorry to hear that the news wasn’t more positive, but great that you’re still booked in for a transfer on Monday. A lot can happen between now and then! All fingers crossed that our embryos make it across the line.

I am literally at the stage where I hate people who conceive first time. I know it’s horrible, I’m sssooo jealous of them I want to be be happy for them. Then I hate myself for it.
Official test date is 31 Aug, though I cheated and did 2 this morning 😂.

Thank you for your kind words @Gensola @beachbum85 @Hansoo @99pctpractice @TanBr. It really is a rollercoaster! They tell me they don't do day 4 updates, so just have to sit tight now and hope there is a survivor waiting for me on Monday

@Gensola I'm sorry you 're getting all those side effects off the meds- hope you can be done with them soon!

@TanBr I just get more and more amazed at how easy it is for some people. Are your tests coming back positive? Am I right in thinking you had a FET, so there is no HCG in your system from the trigger?

I have to use donor eggs, as I have a low reserve. Yes all the way I want them, I didn’t want to come right out and say it and be insensitive to everyone else’s journey. I’m still like wowzer but it’s all nothing until the scan.
I was on buserelin which basically puts you into fake menopause. Wow that was horrific - migraines, sick, major bloating, sweats. I constantly feel like I need to burp now!

When the 5 eggs were fertilised, then I heard nothing until day of transfer and I had 1. This one little dot cost me 16k and worth it if it works. If it’s unsuccessful I will get 6k back. As long as I continue to save just in case I can just afford to try again.

I got my update. The embryologist said that on day 3 they are scored out of 8 , 8 being the best. Of the 3 embryos we have:
12 cell, score 6
8 cell, score 5
7 cell, score 7
She said the 12 cell and 7 cell are doing well and hopefully the 8 cell will catch up.
Just an anxious wait now until transfer tomorrow!

Hoping I can jump on this post. I am on day 8 of injections. I have another scan booked for Monday and praying my follicles have grown. My last scan was on Thursday and doctor said there was alot of follicles they were just small.

I didn’t prepare myself fully for what a rollercoaster this is! 😩

My clinic says I'm doing day 3 transfer tomorrow morning. Of 6 fertilised, there are 4 remaining today. Hoping to have 2 to transfer and 1-2 to freeze, if they make it to day 5 (actually, i think my clinic may wait until day 6).

A little disheartened, as i was hoping to wait until day 5 and have a choice of blasts, but today things are still moving forward.

@99pctpractice yes I am triggering tonight! Excited to not feel bloated and crampy anymore! I have a hot water bottle on my tummy more often than not at the moment.
