@FingersXssd83

Think I'll join you ladies as the TWW is sending me loopy.

Congratulations on those who have had a positive result and I feel for those who've got a BFN. I've been there a few times before and know how much it sucks 😢

Had a transfer of a 5 day blastocyst on Wednesday. Had cramping and pulling on 1dp and 2dp. Bit tired today but can't feel anything going on in there.

Fully expecting a negative test on 8 June.

Anybody having any symptoms?

I'm not sure if I am just making up symptoms. I think I'm much more aware of my lower abdomen and have been a bit gassy but not sure if that's because I was off work and eating differently 😂

It's a nightmare isn't it @emalady What type of embryo did you transfer and is this your first go? I feel totally normal today so I'm 99.9% sure I'm out unless I get some swift symptoms.

Forgot how hard the TWW is. I've been a bit of a wreck. Just want it all over with so I can get back to life and stop obsessing (and treat myself to some naughty food!)

Melmodz · 30/05/2021 14:32

@emalady yeah retest Monday. I tried this morning but bfn. It’s looking like I’m out for sure x

Totally get what you mean! I think I’ve been overthinking every feeling in my lower abdomen, tbh it’s probably all in my head x

Hey, we had a natural cycle transfer of a frozen day 5 embryo. Our fresh cycle resulted in our daughter and 4 frosties. This is the first frozen cycle. We seem to have been very lucky, possibly because it's a male factor issue. TWW is a bitch. I remember from pre ivf getting pate and brie at the ready for af "celebrations"

@melmodz really sorry, hopefully there is something tomorrow or if not you can do something nice?

starkid · 01/06/2021 12:32

Hey everyone, had my blood test today and it was negative, so end of the road in terms of NHS IVf rounds and no other embryos in the freezer, so back to square one. Feel very flat.

Babyvibes · 01/06/2021 20:50

@starkid so sorry to hear that. We never got the chance of nhs rounds as my partner has children already. We were just discussing yesterday how you can get free treatment to stop you falling pregnant but some people like in our circumstances don't get any help at to conceive. 5,000 each go is alot of money. We are hoping to have our review on Thursday then find out when we can go again. I'm ready for it and feeling determined. Can I ask what vitamins you ladies take? I am taking folic acid, vitamin d, coq10 and was taking omega 3 but wasn't sure if they were OK once transfer had been done?

@Babyvibes - I've been on Pregnacare conception tablets for the last couple of years.

I'm interested to hear how much our paid for fresh cycle is going to be once medication is added on top - did it add a lot onto your round? Our clinic says it's £3,950 for:
All treatment blood tests
Nurse consultation and treatment scans
Egg collection and embryo transfer procedures
All embryology work and blastocyst culture
Time-lapse photography
Surplus embryo freezing and storage for 1 year
HFEA licence fee

So think would just be the meds on top of that, unless there's any extra stuff we need doing or investigating. I've managed to have a whole box of Crinone gel and 2 bottles of Buserelin leftover so that'll save a bit of money haha

Babyvibes · 02/06/2021 17:59

@starkid that's roughly the same for us our first amount for the meds were 452.17 then we needed 2 days extra, trigger shot and pessaries which came to 268.43 so it came to just under 5,000 all together.

Hi all I had egg donation on 6th November and in my 2ww!! I’m not supposed to test till 20th. I woke up with what felt like stitch last night for about 20 minutes really painful! I’ve had no blood or spotting roll on Saturday! Anyone else currently going through this?

Myfamily123456 · 24/03/2022 20:15

Hi,

I had my transfer on the 10th March and did a pregancy test yesterday on day 13 as requested and it came back negative sad
I have been advised to continue with my medication for a further 3 days and redo the test, has anyone been through this and after 3 days the test was positive. I am also getting strong cramps as though I am going to start my period.

Thank you in advance
