Hello everyone.
I'm in my 2ww wait now we'll only have 8 days to go as we got a 5d transfer and have been told to test on 28th.
Anyone els going through this?

In the two clinics I ve had ICSI they also had a little different amount of waiting days.
In my current one they say to test on the 9th day for 5 day ET, and 11th day for 3 day ET.

@TheDutchess3 whereas my clinic have said day 11 and day 13 after 5dt! x

Actually, I ve just checked the paper from the first clinic and it says "On the 16th day after the ova retrieval" which makes it the same 11th days after 5dt!

My egg retrieval was on 14th so when test on 28th it makes it 14 days from then. I'm just going to hang on until then for testing as I don't want to be disappointed if I test too early

No, there is still difference for me in the clinics.
First time I had to test on the 16th day after the retrieval, which made it 11th day after 5dt.
Second time the instructions say to test on the 11th day after 3dt (or 9 after 5dt) which equals 14th day after the retrieval. Makes 2 days difference between the clinics.

Believe me I'm struggling today and will for the rest of the week. But it's my partner keeping me going and he wants to be there for the test and knows how stressed I got last time from it. I was bfp last time from gonal f injections but not until 11dp we mc just before our first scan.

Went and got a frer.. this is after about a 1 hour hold.. what do you think?

Curious as to what hormone regimes you are all on? I’m taking oestradiol 3 times daily, and have progesterone injections twice daily. Last time it was only once a day for oestradiol and progesterone pessaries x

feeling very impatient, so strange, I also had a very vivid dream of a positive self test last night. Partner is really encouraging me to wait till tomorrow (OTD) but its really hard.

I'm on 2x a day of progesterone pessaries

@Babyvibes I wonder if it’s either changed at my clinic or it’s my age that’s made them use injections over pessaries…. (I’m 36 this time)

I'm on fematab 3 times a day and then I'm on progesterone pessaries, 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening. They're not very pleasant but I'm used to them now!

@coffeewithmilk yeah I remember the delights of pessaries. Panty liners all the way 😂

If I was going to test again tonight (seeing as it’s been mentioned it can give a darker result at night time, and I’m clearly impatient) then roughly what time would you suggest testing and holding for how long please? xx

I know the qe2 only do injections but cfl only do pessaries but im unsure of the other meds sorry.
When I tested later at night I did it around 8pm
