Well I tested this morning and got a BFN, which I kind of suspected from how I felt, but we're obviously very sad. Taking a couple of months off to give my body a break. Really hope the rest of you get better news xx

I'm sorry @Dbop100 💐
Negative for me too this morning. I've been bleeding heavily since Wednesday so it was expected.
This was our only embryo and our only NHS round. Now we have to start from the very beginning, but also work out whether to stay with this clinic or go elsewhere.

It's devastating. DH and I are also very sad. Hopefully there will be light at the end of the tunnel for us all x

@CurbsideProphet I'm so sorry to hear that. That's it we're both just very sad and a little bit numb. It was our only egg too. I'm not sure if more IVF is the right thing for me but I feel determined that somehow we will have a child one day, even if it's a different path than we had originally thought.

I know going private is very daunting, I would certainly at least look at some other private options, if you're paying for it anyway why not go for it. I found the care I got at my clinic so good, and things move a lot faster when you're not on the NHS. If you get copies of all your test results they can probably take them into account and you may not need to start all the way from the beginning again. You might be surprised at how easy it all is, I know I was.xx

@Dbop100 we have a review appointment this week (luckily there was a cancellation) and then a session with the counsellor the next day. We are aiming to come up with a plan. Even though we're not sure how we can cope with continual failure, we have agreed to try.

We might stay with the same clinic as they do NHS and private. The communication is very good and all of the staff have been very kind (as well as professional). I've heard from friends that communication can be an issue with some clinics, so it might be better to stick with what we know.

For now though we're just trying to potter around gently and make some nice plans for the next month or so to keep us going, especially while the weather is nice
