So basically today is my last day of clomid my first and only round!
So taking ovulating sticks , I'm cycle day 10
Wondered if anyone is in similar boat and want to keep each other company along the way!!!

@Happinesscomesfromwithin I have everything crossed for you!!! I'm due AF on Monday so maybe we will find out on the same day....

@lastbany that's so frustrating! Tbf, you only took it one day after I did my first month so they shouldn't put it all down to that but clearly the clomid has extended your cycle! What's the plan moving forward?

@Shelleybe thank you for sharing! It's blurry but you can make it out. I wonder why no dairy? I'm vegetarian but I haven't committed to being fully vegan yet and I get a lot of my protein from dairy so I don't know how I'd manage that 🤔🤔

@Happinesscomesfromwithin I feel exactly the same way. Any little twinge I get makes me think AF is coming. I can't even let myself hope anymore

Well I finally got a static smiley face this morning after 9 days of flashing ones which made me think I either hadn't ovulated or had missed it! We managed to dtd on Monday and weds this week and then this morning (I made my husband leave late for work as couldn't wait until tonight in case we missed ovulation!), 🤞that will cover it??!!

I'm 11DPO. Sticky CM today which is weird but I have had it before AF on occasion and feeling generally nauseous which, again, I get sometimes before AF. I might test tomorrow just so I know that AF is coming. The last few days of TWW are the worst!

Yes they are @chloedancer897 that's why I'm not testing until I'm late. I've had the sticky white creamy cm too and nausea and my nipples hurt and boobs bigger but I'm sure clomid messes with the hormones too and u can get all this from clomid so I'm not getting excited about any of these symptoms. To be honest I just want AF to arrive to get it over with.

@Happinesscomesfromwithin I know exactly how you feel. I do think the clomid can trick you too. I've had months where I've convinced myself that it's going to happen. It's emotionally exhausting. Please keep the faith though. I know it's so difficult, but try not to lose hope

I peaked yesterday and managed to dtd last night. Should again tonight too maybe, to make sure, although the lines on the OPKs are getting lighter but still positive?

Anyone else ovulate earlier? Each month I take clomid I ovulate one day earlier, or at least get peak OPK a day earlier.

@Luna1108 what CD are you today? I always read that you should DTD on peak day and for the following two days in a row, leave a day and then DTD one more time to make sure! I think that's the SMEP way anyway, but Inge Fleur the homeopath said the same. Good luck!

@chloedancer897 I’m CD13 today. I’m still getting positive OPKs today but they’re just not as strong as yesterday so thinking I probably ovulated today at some point.

So dtd yesterday, today, tomorrow and Monday?? I’m going to exhausted! Fingers crossed for a bank holiday baby!

BFN at 12DPO today. So that's me out again. I don't really know what else I can do. It's just not happening for me despite doing everything at the right times, ovulating ok, DH SA all clear. We clearly aren't meant to have another baby 😔

We also MAY have sale agreed on a house (we find out today), in which case, my IVF is out the window. In the end, I had to choose between providing a house for my family or doing IVF, and it was a really tough choice. I'll still continue to TTC for another while but I'm not getting any younger so I doubt it's going to happen now. I'll do one more cycle of clomid then I'm done. I'm really hoping for positive news from you guys to keep me going this month x

I am really sorry to be so rude as I commented before and then dipped out again (I got my period and was just coming to terms with another failure).

So I was on to cycle 3 100mg. I am paying for my treatment privately and they actually suggested I don't have a 21 day blood test as once clomid works it works and that's it but I wanted one just for reassurance.

Well went yesterday (day 20 due to bank holiday weekend) and got a result of less than 1 so no ovulation....

The thing I don't get is - the consultant was confused as once a dose works it should work and that's it

But the other thing that's bothering me, last month I got such a tender, sore tummy around what I assume was ovulation.

I have had pain all week and then today my abdomen is SO sore, if my daughter tries to sit on my lap it's sore. I can feel it now. Could I be ovulating this late? Or is something maybe wrong?

@chloedancer897 I’m so sorry. Sending you virtual hug. Those bloody BFNs. Take care of you. It’s exciting on the house front but I know your feeling heartbreak. Can you stay or up your clomid dose. I know there is some other injection too some people get during the month

@Rosalind22 hi how are you? Could you take an opk and see. I know some people go up to 150mg on clomid. Are you taking vitamins or anything else. Sorry that sounds so frustrating for you

Also @Rosalind22 my gynaecologist wants me to get bloods during every cycle on clomid... although I have done zero scans...

I stopped using Ovulation sticks a couple of years ago when trying for my first as they never worked due to my PCOS.

I think I'm actually just a little worried something could be wrong because my tummy is so sore.... I googled (as you do!) and it said something about hyper stimulation of the ovaries which can lead to pain.... but that the pain only happens post ovulation. I did have EWCM the last couple of days..... maybe I ovulated yesterday so of course the blood test wouldn't have picked it up.... I just don't know.

They have advised I go up to 150mg next month but I am concerned as I am so convinced the 100mg has done something this month because I am so sore... so, so frustrating!

@Rosalind22 are you testing with OPKs? When did you have bloods? They always say CD21 but really it should be 7 days after ?ovulation which could be earlier or later.

@Shelleybe thanks so much. I just feel like such a failure. I can't understand why my body is failing me so much. I really believe that everything happens for a reason so if it was meant to happen, it should have happened by now. Every month is like mourning a death. It's heartbreaking. I usually have 2-3 days of being absolutely miserable and then I can pick myself up but I honestly don't know if I can continue doing this to myself. I've lost weight, I'm not sleeping, I feel like I look really haggard. My mental health isn't great either. I don't know if I even should keep trying if it's negatively impacting me so much

@Rosalind22 sometimes the clomid can cause cysts on the ovaries too and with your PCOS I would maybe ask your consultant to rule that out just to make sure x

@Rosalind22 you can also get progesterone tests from medichecks. That’s what I’m doing this month as I wasn’t monitored like the last 2 rounds but I still wanted to make sure I was ovulating. Take pinprick blood sample and send it in the post and they send you results in a couple of days. @chloedancer897 is right, it’s not necessarily CD21 if you didn’t ovulate on CD14, should be 7DPO whatever that is for you.

Also @chloedancer897 I’m sorry about the house. I know how hard that must be to feel like you’re choosing. I hope that knowing it’s the perfect place for your family will bring you some comfort 💕
