So basically today is my last day of clomid my first and only round!
So taking ovulating sticks , I'm cycle day 10
Wondered if anyone is in similar boat and want to keep each other company along the way!!!

@Luna1108 ah fab! We fully init together haha! Mines only just started today not full force but deffo today so I'm ok today aren't I? Paranoid to do at wrong time!!! God hope this month goes quicker than last lol are you getting scans this month? Or doing it blind?

@lastbany sorry to hear AF started. I just got my peak OPK on CD14 and I did days 2-6 so I'd say aim for that. I'm lazy and use the clear blue ones. They're easier and you only have to do it once a day! I started testing on CD10 and DTD every other day from then. I'm also taking pregnacare conceive plus and omega 3. I went through a phase of taking every supplement under the sun but cut back. Good luck to you and @Luna1108 x

@lastbany yeah if it starts in the morning then count today as day 1. It’s only when it starts late at night. I was told bright red means it’s started.

Not being monitored this month as they’re happy I’m on the right dose - thankfully! 6 scans / blood tests in a week was a bit much 😆 they only monitored me 2 months on the bounce because of my over reaction in month 1. Dr has said she’ll give me 6 months of clomid which I’ll just be left to it.

Then it’ll be IVF if it doesn’t work, which I’m hoping we don’t get to of course.

Gonna get on amazon now to order all these things!

@Luna1108 I’m on CD3 today so I started clomid last night

Should we all say what we are doing regarding vitamins, tricks and stuff so that maybe it might help someone else and we can kinda bounce off each other

I’m doing accupuncture, folic acid and omega 3. Was taking a pregnancy multivitamin but all out so must get something again similar. Pomegranate juice and Brazil nuts after ovulation. I read vitamin B is good for second half of cycle too. Got 4 most fertile days opks from clear blue. We are going dtd every second day from day 7 as gyno told us that. Getting blood work done again to check progesterone. Any other recommendations I gladly take... as this month want to do absolutely any trick in the book. Also doing lay in bed afterwards with pillows... I know this may be bit of a tale...

@lastbany my AF arrived this morning as well, about 9.30am so I am counting today as day one and starting Clomid tomorrow. I did days 5-9 last month and that obviously didn't work for me so I am switching it to days 2-6 myself. Am more upset than i thought as hoped we were in with a chance as dtd every day for five days around ovulation. After two rounds of IVF and this round of Clomid all since November 2020 you would think I would be used to disappointment. Just this cycle of Clomid for us and then back to IVF and have a cycle booked in Prague, a quarter of the cost and ten times the success rate. Hope we don't get there though and fall next month 🤞

I take lots of different supplements after reading a book called It starts with the egg. Very interesting read although you do fall into a bit of a rabbit hole once you’ve read it!

I take Zita West prenatal, omega 3, ubiquinol, vitamin d and vitamin e. Drink pomegranate juice all month and pineapple after ovulation and eat brazil nuts. We use preseed but that’s just because I worry about CM drying up due to clomid.

@dragonfly1978 were you given a reason why you should take it CD5-9? I’ve read that there’s different reasons for different days but just anecdotally.

@Luna1108 I'm confused now! Been out all day had a penny sized blood stain on pad!! Wouldn't say bright red more dark pink! So I don't. Know if to count today or not?! Think might have to wait for more tomorow! We did dtd last night which I feel I had slight pink stain after when I went toilet so thought had sort of fetched me on then now to only have this it's strange! Thibk will see how go throughout night and might have to call tomorow day 1 I'll see!!!
I have been mega unhealthy past few months this month with the clomid bloat then taking steroids whic I've deffo put weight on! From tomorow I am getting bacn to exercise and eating healthy!! Because I've gone crazy eating shit lol need to stop 😂😂😂

@lastbany your body is definitely messing with you!! I’d say until you see red, it hasn’t started. So you’ll be a day behind me 😂 are you doing 2-6 again?

I’ve been curled up in a ball most of this afternoon, the pain is agony. Makes me nauseous! Hot wheat bag, paracetamol, lying down, going for a walk. Nothing touches it.

We’ve been trying really hard to eat healthy but I need to up my exercise game. Now that gyms are open again!

@Luna1108 bloody hell! Thts not nice 😱 last time I did day 5/9 but didn't Caus I messed up and took it day 6/10! 😂😂 so this time I am doing 2/7 because I usually ovulate around 12/14 thibk will make it closer to that! Ye I'm well fed up lol hoping it comes over night so yes thibk I'll be a day behind unless she comes soon lol

@lastbany have you tested?

@Happinesscomesfromwithin not for like three days but we had a huge gap where we didn't dtd so o don't think it's possible unless i ovulated on like day 25/26? Which I don't think will have x

Your not out till af shows! Also sperm can live up to 5 days so if you did it anytime before ovulation you could still be in with a chance.

@lastbany I would test just to make sure before you start clomid again

So yep nothing at all threw night and nothing this morning! So strange! So won't be counting tht as day one which is so annoying! More waiting

@chloedancer897 hate to sound miserable 😂😂 but a just don't think can possibly be lol everyone I've ever been late for period and thought it could be it never was! And I've never had implantation bleeding before :) don't want to sound like a cow sorry a just think it's my AF messing with me again bits so annoying was looking forward to starting again! I'll attach a photo show you why I think can't be possible
As you can see I started putting a heart for when we dtd and you can see huge gap from April 1st till 12th where we had fell out (oh boy it lasted plus my nights invetween lol) so I just can't see how it's possible I'm cd33 now!!

But you had sex all around ovulation time. Sperm can live up to 7 days. It's definitely possible can't you just test with a frer to rule it out?

@Happinesscomesfromwithin it wasn't actually confirmed ovulation that's just my flo app I deffo didn't ovulate then as I'm nearly three weeks after there now so would be showing as positive x

Are you not tracking ovulation with OPK's whilst using clomid? Or isn't your gynaecologist monitoring you?

@Happinesscomesfromwithin I got my highest opk on cd15th only on cheapos but again thibk would have had a positive preg text by now not took one for about 4 days but they were early detection ones, was sure was put so they gave next prescription for clomid which I expected to start taking today but obv this isn't going to happen

Maybe you didn't ovulate at all then which is why your period is delayed.

Well a took me last preg test and was neg lol a knew it now I'm fumin that I used my last one 😂😂 no idea what my body is playing at

@Shelleybe CD15 for me today. Got my peak CB yesterday so DTD from yesterday for next 3 days. Fingers bloody crossed. I honestly can't deal with this month on month anymore!

@lastbany no further bleeding? I think if AF is really delayed sometimes you need provera to start a bleed due to clomid. Make sure you keep an eye. Sorry for another BFN. It's so frustrating when you just want it to come so you can move on!
