I’m starting to wonder what’s going on with me. I am still feeling pregnant and the bleeding has eased off again an this morning was just slightly brown. I have no pain. It’s definitely not followed the same pattern as my other losses. On the scan I had at 5+5 the doctor asked me if I’d bled as she could see something separate to the sac. I wonder if it’s just that bleed coming away? I’ve got my scan Tuesday but I’m feeling quite hopeful again (rollercoaster!!!!) x

Went back for a scan on Friday and FINALLY lining is thick enough. Transfer is booked for Friday lunchtime, so nervous!

@West2401 great news, don't worry, transfer is the easiest bit! A bit like having a smear test when you really need a wee, over and done in 10 mins xx
Re me... well after my idiotically early test I've now clearly got to do it daily as I'm daft.. so same this morning, faint positive, 6dpt, so still super early, I'm being very cautious but didn't run out and get the F@&k it wine I was anticipating!

We shall see :)

Hi all, how's everyone doing?

I'm getting irrationally annoyed with people saying they've been ttc 'for 8 months' as if that's a long time.

Everyone's paths are different. Repeat mantra.

It can be irritating to hear for those of us who've 'done a longer sentence' but I do remember feeling depressed myself at 8 months, and at 9 months...and still feeling it 2 years later. I suppose we can only fully appreciate whatever length we have gone through individually. I'm sure those of you who are ttc going on 4-6 years would be miffed with me .

I wish you all the best @ivftake1 and hope your sentence ends soon.

@ivftake1 I had someone once tell me they know how I felt as they had been trying for 3 months and found it really hard (they were just about to give birth and I had just had my IVF cancelled due to covid) and I agree everyone's path and struggles are different and valid but I totally get how you feel!

Thanks for the well wishes everyone... All good news at the scan! I’m so relieved! Baby is fine and the heartbeat was flickering away! She said she could still see the bleed and to expect to bleed again but it was just one of those things and said not to worry.

I am a bit worried though because I should be 6.5 weeks but I’m measuring at 6 weeks and it should be exact due to it being an ivf pregnancy...should I be worried about this 😬

I think the sizes are so tiny that the margin of error is quite high!

I got my bhcg levels back today and it's 1172, the nurse said it was nice and high.

Re me, I think I'm in, gradually increasing strength in the positive on frer a clear 2 lines this morning after having hot sweats and a bit of nausea during the night, 8dp5dt today, fingers crossed it's a sticker, my next worry is how many as 3 went in! 😳

@Mctm123 great news!!! I had my egg collection yesterday, got 14, 12 were mature and 8 have fertilised so now the waiting game to see if any make it to transfer!

Hope you are all doing ok :)

Spoken to my clinic and on our next round they suggest taking estrogen from cycle day 21 and doing a double trigger to try and get more mature eggs. They said my egg quality is fine and they still really don't have a reason why we only had 1 good embryo.

Have any of you had estrogen and double trigger?

My trigger was 10,000 gonasi which was two powders, is that what you mean? Or trigger on two different days?

@ivftake1 my consultant said it is two diff ones - ovitrelle and burserlin x

@Freezerbump hello! I’m ok - absolutely filled with anxiety and finding it hard to function! I’m still spotting and it’s worrying the life out of me, Care keep saying it can be normal and even more so with IVF. Had my HCG taken a week ago and it was 800 and they said that was good for my dates, having it repeated Monday to see if it’s increased. I’ve researched so much haha and know there’s a multitude of things it could be but I’m just fearing the worst. How can I spot for over a week and it be fine?!

@Raggity19 hi! The m sure they know what they're doing poppet, I've read about a billion blogs that talk about spotting and it going on for a long time so try not to worry xx

I'm good, OTD Sunday but like a lunatic I've been testing since my surprise one on day 5 ☺️
I'm now getting 2 lines on anything I pee on so I'm hoping it's a sticker.. may sound odd but I'm not convinced it's official until Sunday so keeping my trap shut until then!

Other than testing nothing terribly exciting going on with me since my period pain on day 4, a few twinges, the occasional hot sweat and wave of nausea during the night and a spectacular consumption of salt and vinegar pop chips I'm pretty normal, waking up at about 0330.. I think it must be the prog.. but getting better at going back to sleep.

Other than that I feel weirdly calm, pretty energetic.. so nothing like anyone else (which has me thinking it's not a sticker obvs!)

Maybe it's just lulling me in to a false sense of smugness... and I'll be hurling from next week!

How about you? And weird stuff bar the spotting? This all feels very surreal at the moment... like I'm going to wake up and it was all a dream..

Haha the waking at 330 is what I had too! I don’t know if it was needing the toilet or what but I had it for about a week. Now I’m just tired all the time!

Yayyy for the two lines - when is OTD, Sunday? Did they give you a test to do?

No not really! Keep having the odd wave of nausea, and a ridiculously high sex drive haha xx

@Raggity19 yes I'm sure it's fine, are you still on pessaries? Apparently they can irritate the foof also so try not to worry.

Yep OTD Sunday, still convinced it's all going to vanish by then so it seems my brain is intent on protecting my heart, I wonder when I'll feel like it's real?!

If all ok sun then I guess it's a scan at 7 weeks, maybe then it will feel real.. at least I can confirm if there's anyone in there!
