Anybody help with FET

Can anyone help me I’m currently on day five of taking Progynova and have a scan on Monday. Does anyone know roughly how long before I will have transfer. My cycle is usually 26 days and embryo is 5days. I can’t remember them giving me a rough date, it was only a quick phone call so she may have and I didn’t take it in.
It’s just my work place want me to go back full time now but I i want to have the tww off, has last time it caused me so much unneeded stress.
I’ve told them it’ll be in the next few weeks but just wondered if anyone else had a better idea on timing. Thanks in advance xx

Ive only done FET once but our nurse told us that we must be on progynova for 12 days at least. Id imagine if all goes well at your scan on Monday, you will be told to start your progesterone and be given the day of thefollowing fri/Sat or Monday for transfer. Good luck

Thanks for your reply, the dates you said are roughly the dates I was thinking. Have told them I will have a better idea on Monday, but they are trying to push a answer out of me. I know it’s because they need me back

Hi, so it depends what your lining is doing on your scan on Monday. My clinic does the lining scan after 9 days of oestrogen too. If lining is thick enough at the 9 day scan then you start progesterone with a transfer after 7 days. Our clinic like for the lining to be 8mm and above. If the lining isn’t quite ready then you take the oestrogen for a few more days before re-scan to check lining thickness again. X

@Lemongrass1 Thankyou, so I guess if everything’s going the way it should I’m looking at transfer in about a week and half time, I had a feeling this would happen to me, transfer time comes and work want me back full time. Well they just going to have to wait haha.

I had my day 10 scan today. I’ve been taking Progynova. As @Lemongrass1 said my lining was over 8mm so they are phoning to give me my FET date. I think transfer will be next Thurs/Fri.

I think our transfer will be around the same time. I’m soooo excited today.

Good morning, thanks @UncleBrynsfishingtrip that is really useful to know has I now have a rough idea. Glad things are going in the right direction for you, hoping they’ll say the same to me on Monday. I have been taking Progynova three times aday but don’t feel any different what so ever. Is this normal?? Have you felt any different?? Sorry if that question sounds stupid it just I thought I may have felt something, so is making me wondering if it’s actually doing anything. This is my first FET after my fresh cycle failed in March. Is this your first FET??
Can’t wait for transfer day, but not looking forward to the tww again. Xx

@Needtotalkivf19 this is my second FET. Taking the same meds as you but twice a day (I go up to three times a day soon). I don’t feel any different and it was the same on the first cycle. So try not to worry about that! Hope you get a good result on Monday. X

Yeah it is normal to feel the same. Phew!
I’m now on three times a day with Progynova and I feel exactly the same.
Some people will have side effects.
Some people will feel normal.
My lining was all good and my FET is now booked in.

I can’t wait to get Monday out of the way and hopefully be given a date. I’m so inpatient I just want to know the outcome now xx

Tomorrow is day 12 of taking progynova

Been for my scan this morning to be told to stop taking medication this month, due to ovary having a few follicles and my lining been thin, we have been told we can start again next mont on higher dose or go for another fresh cycle.
I am so upset I don’t even know what I want to do. Sorry for the negative vibes.

Sending you a HUGE hug and a big cup of tea. Must be a shock to here things need to be paused. Especially as we all know how hard the waiting is and how must you have put into getting to this point.

My scan went fine. My lining was 7.1mm and I will have my transfer next Monday. I really hope next month goes smoother for you xxx

I’m feel a bit better about it now, I’m just so annoyed with my clinic the place had so many people packed in and it was the first time I’ve been back since it open, but everyone was new and nobody seem bothered, and the nurse was so blunt and unhelpful. I just wanted to get this transfer done and now it more waiting and I feel unsure what to do, and feel why did they say about fresh cycle, don’t they think a FET will work?? Has anyone heard of this advice been given before??
I’m Going to try and contact someone tomorrow has is was so busy earlier and tbh I was upset and wanted to get out of there.
