Anybody help with FET

Can anyone help me I’m currently on day five of taking Progynova and have a scan on Monday. Does anyone know roughly how long before I will have transfer. My cycle is usually 26 days and embryo is 5days. I can’t remember them giving me a rough date, it was only a quick phone call so she may have and I didn’t take it in.
It’s just my work place want me to go back full time now but I i want to have the tww off, has last time it caused me so much unneeded stress.
I’ve told them it’ll be in the next few weeks but just wondered if anyone else had a better idea on timing. Thanks in advance xx

This will be my first transfer too - I'm already starting to worry. I need to try and remain positive!

@Needtotalkivf19 Why was your cycle cancelled? Sorry if you've already explained it 🙈 I'm just waiting for AF before calling the clinic and starting oral meds - I have PCOS and irregular. But clinic said to injecting for 7-10 days normally?
I'm finding myself to be all over atm emotionally, going from not given a sod about anything to getting really annoyed with little things 😬

Does anyone know if you can use self tan around your transfer? And other things like having your hair coloured and painting nails?
I've read on google (which I probably shouldn't refer to) that using nail polish is a no ☹️ and didn't know how true it was

Your clinic will be able to tell you but at my transfer I wasn’t allowed to use any soap/perfume on day of transfer.
They didn’t say anything else though r.e hair/nails.

Hey hope you don’t mind me joining this thread. I am just stimming for my first FET
13 days on progynova and my lining is only at 6mm
Nurse said that they want it closer to 11.. they will be calling me to tell me whether to up my dosage or not.
I am OBVIOUSLY panicking at this. I’ve never had any issues with my lining before, all other monitoring scans told me that lining was perfect.

Bit worried tbh xxx

Progynova tablets are making me feel so sick 🙃 but other than that I'm feeling hopeful for tomorrow's scan. Hope you are okay 🙂 xx

But ideally over .7/.8

Hi Everyone. I hope you don't mind me jumping on this post. I have been taking Progynova for about 2 weeks now and I'm due FET on Friday. Today I am feeling so emotional/hormonal/stressed. I can literally cry on que. I'm normally very hard faced and thick skinned so I hate feeling like this.This is my second round of IVF so I have been here before.

Whats your opinion on taking time off work during this time? I only work from home anyway so it's not exactly strenuous and I dont have annoying people around me. But my head is just not in it at all, I cant work out if I'm just bored with my job or if it's acceptable to feel like this right now? I know a lot of people just seem to work through all of these challenges that we face during IVF etc (I did last time) but this time I just can't be bothered at all. But then is it justified if I just sit around and sort of potter about at home? I know these are very 1st word problems but just really would like other peoples opinions who are going through a similar situation. Thank you xx

I would recommend listening to your body, if it feels you need time off work and you're in a position to do so, then maybe you should?
I've seen videos on YouTube of women being emotional on their meds - I started Progynova only yesterday so I'd imagine I have all of this to come 🙈 I bet all the other ladies on this chat can relate to those emotions.
Just remember this will be one the most emotional rollercoasters - maybe you'll feel slightly different after transfer x

Hi @WarriorSmith - thanks so much for your reply! Yes I agree listening to my body is key, logging on tomorrow is making me feel sick and slightly stressed but I also don’t just want to sit around at home haha. Not an easy decision. I always swore to myself that I’d take this time off and learn from my previous round. One week tomorrow until blood test date to see if it’s worked.

I really hope your process goes well, how are you feeling on the Progynova at the moment? Have you got a scan date yet? Keeping everything crossed for you 😊 xx

How is everything? How did the transfer go? Sorry I haven't messaged sooner - I've been so busy!

I'm feeling fine on the progynova - not meltdowns yet. Just had my 2nd scan and my lining is 11.1 so FET is booked for Friday next week
