Hi @Rovera12 best of luck for your transfer today!

Heart4 · 02/08/2020 09:13

Hi ladies, I’ve been a bit quiet recently as I needed to switch off to keep myself from overthinking while waiting for phone calls from the embryologist. I can update today that I too had egg collection last Monday. They collected 2 eggs and both fertilised. Both turned into grade 1 embryos and we now have 2 in the freezer. One is a blastocyst. I’m so relieved to have some in the freezer. They even sent us a time lapse embryoscope video, which was beautiful to watch. But I’m trying to remain grounded and realistic. We have one more cycle so hopefully that will bring some more little embryos.

Best of luck girls and lots of baby dust xx

SpyroC · 02/08/2020 10:18

That's amazing @Heart4 congratulations! Was that mild ivf?

Good luck for today @Rovera12 x

So I'm confused. The test I did on Thursday was negative like I said however, I went out for a walk and when I came back I looked at again and there was a very faint second line. I googled it and saw that it was probably an evaporation line which is apparently common with clear blue so I thought nothing of it and threw it away. Yesterday my period got to pretty much normal. Today is otd which my clinic said to still test. Again negative but a bit later a faint second line this time on a pink line test. 🤯 I know I can't be pregnant and on my period but it looks like I probably had a chemical. I'm going to buy some frers tomorrow. A tone else experienced this?

LongtermTTC · 02/08/2020 10:55

Hi ladies, I’m on day 4 of stims after a long 40 days of down reg and a cyst aspiration that nearly saw our cycle cancelled. Last night I started spotting - not much, dark brown and only when I wipe (sorry, TMI but by this stage we’re all used to sharing TMI with strangers right??) Am now worried that something’s not right as surely I shouldn’t be bleeding if my lining is meant to be thickening up. The cyst they aspirated did refill back up to 17mm before I started stims so maybe that has just popped? Did anyone else experience spotting during stims? Am going to message the clinic but obviously it’s Sunday so won’t hear back until tomorrow and is stressing me out a little after such a difficult IVF experience thus far!

Glitterandunicorns · 02/08/2020 11:09

@Heart4 that's brilliant that your embryos grew so well!

@LongtermTTC I'm sorry I can't answer your question, but I'm sending a hug as I understand how worrying and unsettling these things can be. I hope you get an answer soon.

@SpyroC That sounds odd. It could be a chemical, but I'm crossing my fingers that things work out for you. FYI- I've seen talk on the other conception boards recently that people have been getting false positives with FRERs recently. I just wanted to give you a heads up.

Rovera12 · 02/08/2020 17:05

Hello everyone, I am sorry for replying late.
Today went well, I was allowed to transfer only one due to age and also avoiding multiple births. I transferred a 5ab hatching blast.

Finally I was prescribed lubion injections but I am finding it very hard to get. I was told to get it and be paid by me.

Tomoro I will get an update about the other 4 as at day5 3 early blast and a morula. The last one of the 6 was arrested and discarded.

I went out searching for pharmacies on the street to get the injection. Just got back home and noticed a bit of spotting. Should I worry about it ?

Rovera12 · 02/08/2020 17:07

@LongtermTTC so sorry to hear what you are going through. I think it’s best to hear from you clinic tomorrow.

Janefx40 · 02/08/2020 17:24

@Rovera12 don't worry about the spotting. Any time someone inserts something into you there is a chance of spotting. At this early stage it can't mean anything bad and is just likely to be from the transfer.

Did you find Lubion? It is really hard to get hold of. I was unable to get it near me quickly (some pharmacies could order but takes a few days) so had to buy from my clinic. If you are in London I may know a pharmacy that has it so let me know if you are in need.

X

Glitterandunicorns · 02/08/2020 18:03

@Rovera12 so glad to hear today went well for you. That's a brilliant blast score!

I was told by my nurse that spotting is absolutely normal after embryo transfer so try not to worry.

I hope you managed to find your Lubion in the end.

Rovera12 · 02/08/2020 19:44

@Janefx40 no please let me know the pharmacy. Thank you
@Glitterandunicorns thank you , Officially PUPO.

SpyroC · 02/08/2020 20:11

Sorry @LongtermTTC it's not something I've come across. It does sound like the cyst may be responsible though doesn't it. I hope your clinic are able to reassure you tomorrow.

Thanks @Glitterandunicorns I wander if it's the warm weather causing a lot of evaps? I know I can't be pregnant so I'm not worried about getting my hopes up I just want to confirm a chemical and rule out an ectopic really.

Congratulations on being pupo @Rovera12 !
That's a great result with your embryos too. I got my lubion from Asda they did order it in but it came the next day.

Janefx40 · 02/08/2020 21:06

@Rovera12 there's a pharmacy called Madesil on Marylebone High Street. They do a lot of work with ARGC. I've bought mine direct from the clinic but I can ask tomorrow morning if Madesil stock it there as they do provide a lot for them. I'll try to find out for you in the morning x

SpyroC · 03/08/2020 09:17

So this morning I have a clear bfp on a frer that came up straight away (made me cry instantly as I was not expecting that). In my 2.5 years of ttc I've never even seen a faint positive. I did another Asda one and the faint positive is still faint but darker. 🤯 I am definitely on my period. I'm now more worried about an ectopic with a 1% hope that I am one of those mythical women you read about someone knowing in old forums. I spoke to a Dr at my clinic yesterday and she said it was too early for an ectopic to cause any harm.

I hope you are all ok. X

Heart4 · 03/08/2020 09:58

@SpyroC I have no helpful words to offer but I hope you are ok.
I know someone who continued to get a period for the first month of a healthy pregnancy. My memory is sketchy but her dr said the baby had attached to one side of the uterus while the other side continued to shed lining and that everything was fine.

Heart4 · 03/08/2020 10:06

@SpyroC yes, I'm on Natural Modified IVF xx

bunhead34 · 03/08/2020 10:13

@SpyroC sorry to hear that. Fingers crossed you are one of those mythical women, you never know!

I am 7Dp5Dt, I saw some very light pink when I did my pessary this morning, now I'm convinced it's all over 😭 I have mild cramping too, and no pregnancy symptoms. OTD is Friday.
Why is this whole thing so shit?

Bestofyou1982 · 03/08/2020 10:20

@SpyroC what a rollercoaster for you. When do you go back to clinic for a scan?
I had a lot of bleeding, like a murder scene when I went to the toilet and then heavy bleeding for a day. Lots of stomach cramps too. But somehow I am still pregnant. Now 7 weeks and 4 days. The scan 1 week ago showed heart beat, correct size and position. I'm really not sure how after all of the bleeding and cramping. I did have 2 embryos transferred, not sure if that makes a large difference.
Good luck finding out what's going on. Take care x

SpyroC · 03/08/2020 11:54

Thanks guys I do have a tiny bit of hope. The nurse is calling me at lunch time ish but I suspect they will just say to test again. That's what the Dr said yesterday.

@Bestofyou1982 the nurse on Wednesday did mention it could be one embryo coming away and the other one could stay but at that point I was only having heavy spotting. 🤞🏻 that is what's happening but I'm doubtful.

@bunhead34 Don’t give up hope as that could all be caused by the pessaries. I've googled it a lot and spoken to a couple of nurses. 🤞🏻 for you.

Glitterandunicorns · 03/08/2020 12:51

@bunhead34 I'm sorry that you're worried. The whole thing is shit isn't it. Fingers crossed that it's nothing for you to worry about.

@SpyroC blimey! That's a bit of a twist! I don't know what to say, but I really hope things work out for you! Hopefully the nurse can shed some light on things for you!

07hopesanddreams · 03/08/2020 20:46

Hi ladies, is it too late to join the group?
I had my 3rd fresh transfer on Sunday...dreaming of a positive result. We haven’t been lucky to date with fresh or frozen cycle, but we only got one embryo to transfer this time so fingers are tightly crossed this is the one.
Best of luck to you all as well

Glitterandunicorns · 03/08/2020 21:41

Welcome @07hopesanddreams. Of course it's not too late to join the group.

I'm sorry you haven't had any luck with your previous transfers. Best of luck for this time. How are you feeling after the transfer? Was it a 5 day transfer?

KittyFoster · 04/08/2020 07:13

@SpyroC I really hope you receive some positive news today xxx

Welcome on board @07hopesanddreams and sending you positive vibes! When is your OTD? I’m testing on Monday.

We came back home yesterday and it feels good to start settling back into some kind of routine and seeing my babies ( cats 😄). Today is my last day of vacation leave and I’m planning to fill the fridge with healthy fruit and veg as I haven’t eaten really healthy over the past few days ( missing the breakfast pancakes already!)

I have a few symptoms but I’m pretty sure it’s all in the mind or from the progesterone, which to an extent makes me happy as I am worried that I wasn’t getting enough progesterone. I have to take the intramuscular injection today as well and funnily enough I’m looking forward to it... not looking forward to the pain, but I’m hoping it helps 🤞 I really really want this to work😔

SpyroC · 04/08/2020 09:13

Welcome @07hopesanddreams congratulations on being pupo.

@KittyFoster found the second week so hard this time. I think I'd of preferred being back at work to distract me. Everything is crossed for you.

Thanks @KittyFoster and @Glitterandunicorns . The nurse didn't seem too surprised by my situation but then she probably hears women worrying about spotting being their period all the time(mine really is full on). Probably thinks I'm being dramatic. She said she couldn't say either way but that it can happen. I'm booked in for a scan at 6.5 weeks, if I get there, which I doubt. Today's tests are the same as yesterday's and I'm still bleeding. She did say to wait a week after the bleeding. I'm back to thinking chemical. It's just weird that it got darker yesterday. How can the hcg peak during my period? 🤯 This has majorly messed with my head. 🤪

Parkandride · 04/08/2020 10:53

Took a bit of time out as ivf was messing with head, just catching up,

Oh @SpyroC That's crazy, can I offer a tentative congratulations and hope you can get some answers soon. Could you get beta tests?

Congratulations on being pupo @Rovera12

Hope time doesn't drag before official test day @bunhead34 @KittyFoster @07hopesanddreams sending you lots of positive vibes Flowers

@longtermTTC did you get an reassurance from your clinic?

@heart4 great news about your embryos, the videos are amazing aren't they. Imagine one day being able to show your kid themselves on a cellular level, mind blowing really

How much have people being paying for lubion? The tiny amount I got was £££ so I guess if I'm successful I'll need to plan ahead to get some more.

Transfer tomorrow, hoping I get a time soon so I can plan my day. Please thaw well little embryo

Rovera12 · 04/08/2020 11:41

@Parkandride thanks I got mine from pharmasure and I paid £125 for 14vials including a next day delivery charge.
Asda might be cheaper as I was told over the phone, a vial was £8 which comes up to about £115. I went in the shop n was told it will
Cost me about £150+ . It’s better you cal to ask or go in.

@SpyroC sorry you are going through all of this, have you heard back from the nurse? I am wishing it turns out to be a viable BFP.

@Glitterandunicorns how are u doing ?

@Janefx40 thank you, I got it from Pharmasure this morning.

@07hopesanddreams welcome to the group,we had our transfer on the same day. Congratulations on being PUPO.

How’s everyone doing ?
