@loziliz75 I'm normally 27/28 days, but last month (round 1 of clomid) was 31, longest cycle I've had for a long time. I'm not having any monitoring except the day 21 blood test as haven't ovulated yet, but I can't believe how much we just get left to our own devices. Thank goodness for this group where we can ask questions x

@amysantiago83 I know I felt very much alone and lost during this process until I found this group! Except bloods and never finding results out 🤷🏽‍♀️ I didn’t have anymore monitoring either!! Stupid tray since your amount of cycles are limited to 6 in most cases! Xx

AF arrived this morning. On to Clomid cycle no.3 🤞🏼 xxx

@JadeS174 sorry to hear that 😥, so many of us are into cycle 3 now. I am actually dreading this weekend when I ovulate - I know that sounds bizarre but I find it so stressful and have to pretend not to so my husband doesn't! We haven't dtd since the last fertile window as I think were so traumatised from the last two months!!

@amysantiago83 could you call your clinic or ask the nurse at the blood test?

@dragonfly1978 could you arrange a date night or something to take the pressure off? It's so hard isnt it, I always feel anxious around ovulation worrying about whether we've dtd enough or not enough etc.

I think I may have had a chemical this month. I got a super faint line on a IC the day before AF. I didnt get excited as it was so faint and I'd started spotting. AF was 1-2 days late and has been the heaviest period I've ever had, I'm normally quite light but today I bled through a super tampon and a pad within a couple of hours. Sorry major Tmi but I've also passed lots of clots which I never ever do.
It could be a coincidence and I'll never know for sure, doesnt really change anything either I suppose!

I left a message for the hospital on Monday and they've just got back to me. My blood test result should be in later today, so she's going to wait for that then talk to the doctor about what to do. She said she'd ring back later today, so I shall anxiously watch my phone all day lol

@LottieDot sorry to hear about your chemical. Hope you're feeling ok if it's been heavy.

I didn't ovulate this month 😥 They've said to treat the bleeding as my period, but as I didn't have my new prescription I have to skip this month and start again on my next period. They're putting me on 150mg and that's their highest dose so won't have anymore blood tests. I'll be joining the round 3 crew, but who knows when with my effed-up cycles! Fingers crossed for you all 🤞

@dragonfly1978 ovulation is such a rollercoaster of emotions, potentially the chance to get pregnant but then the anxiety of dtd and what if he doesn’t ‘finish’. I just tried telling myself that he wants this as much as I do and even if he wasn’t verbalising it he felt the pressure and feels what I have felt over these past years.

@AmySantiago83 glad they have increased the dosage for you, I thought the max was 200mg not 150mg or is that just the clinic where your at?Finger crossed for your cycle 3 👏🏼🤞🏼 Xxx

@AmySantiago83 sorry you didnt ovulate. I hope cycle 3 and 150mg works for you! Like Loziliz said I thought 200 was max but every clinic is different isnt it!

I had my first ultrasound today showing 2 x 18 mm follicles right ovary. Left ovary one but small. Was given a trigger shot. Is the 2 large ones a good sign? Higher risk of twins?

@JandL2020 what CD are you? Two that size is good but definitely a higher chance of twins if they both release!

Thanks for your reply. I’m on cycle day 15. Before clomid I generally ovulated day 16/17 so it’s pretty bang on again isn’t it. Fingers crossed 🤞

How is everyone doing?? I am now CD14, positive OPK Saturday and yesterday and dtd both days, going to try and persuade husband to dtd again today! Fingers crossed third time lucky for me - I have thrown everything at it, pressed, supplements, reflexology, pineapple etc 🤞

I had terrible bloating/cramps on Saturday so I think I ovulated then. Only managed to dtd evening of trigger shot (Friday) and twice yesterday. I don’t think my partner likes scheduled sex although I said that’s what the doctor told us to do. Feel like may have missed our optimal day on Saturday. I’m throwing everything into our first clomid cycle too - trying conceive plus and soft cups. Getting used to it now. May try acupuncture next cycle x

@JandL2020 don’t worry about not doing it Saturday, you dtd Friday and Sunday your in with a chance.

@JandL2020 I know what you mean about trying to avoid pressure for them. My husband has been amazing this month and we have managed to dtd five days in a row through the fertile window!!! That is unheard of for us but I don't think he can handle my disappointment if it doesn't work again so has thrown everything at it!

I'm only CD10 and dont usually O til about day 15/16 so still a bit of a wait for me yet!

@CharlotteCx how are you?? I am 3 DPO and have really sensitive breasts - have never ever had that before on any day and think I remember you saying you had that the month you got your BFP?? How early did you get it? Am probably clutching at straws and shouldn't get my hopes up but can't help it!

@Loziliz75 well I promised my husband I wouldn't test until next weekend but know I won't make it that long!!!! I have a secret wish to get a BFP by Friday and surprise him for Valentines Day. I realise that probably isn't going to happen and I probably will have to try again next month but that's what's keeping me going and trying to be positive at the moment!
