Ivf 2 week wait!!!

Hi, currently 1 day in on my 2 week wait. I’ve had Ivf before and was lucky enough to be blessed with my beautiful son but had forgotten the agony of the dreaded wait.
Anyone else currently going through this ?

@Ml922 I get that just goes to show you can test that early though

@Kirmcd oh wow fingers crossed for you . I think the wait is definitely the hardest part of the process. x

@Lulabud1**@Ml922 I dun have those symptoms at all! In fact I have some PMS signs so a bit gutted :( @Lulabud1. I had my day 3 transfer on 9th but my test day is 27?

@snow1314 I don’t know how it’s worked out. I’ve had a day 3 transfer previously and tested 14 days after , this time its 15 days x

I’ve tested this morning , a day earlier than they told me to and it was negative ☹️

@Lulabud1 I'm so so sorry. I really hoped you'd get your BFP. Life is cruel. The best thing you can do is be kind to yourself, and I found keeping myself busy has helped.

I am so sorry to hear about that. Agreed this is so cruel, it really this. Sometime I wonder how hard could it be? But this is life. Hope you are doing something today to take your mind away from this. Are you going for another round?

Hi all, I’m kinda new to this. First time and day 8 after 5dt. No spotting, twinges and nausea. Is this normal. I’m really busy with work and distracted (which I think is a good thing). Tonight I’m woozy light headed and got twinges. Is everyone waiting until test date? Any thoughts on symptoms. Drugs or a good sign?

@jemimafuddleduck @Snow1314 thank you . Yes it’s really cruel. I was working today so it kept me occupied. And I am thankful I have my son from a previous successful ivf round, although it still hurts like mad. It’s grief really isn’t it? When you see your embryo although it’s cells , you love it already and want to protect it with every thing you have.
We are paying for our cycles so obviously have the financial pressures. I’m
Hoping we can scrape the money together for another cycle and wish to do it ASAP .
Hi @peanuts6! I think it’s hard to say either way really, it really is a waiting game. I tested day before test date but I had a friend who had a 5dt and she tested a week after transfer and got her bfp xx

@peanuts6 , yeah it’s best to wait really. Hopefully a good sign, you have to think positive through it don’t you. Please update us when you test. Fingers crossed for you xx

@Lulabud1 I'm absolutely gutted for you 😪 I've went to drs & asked to be kept on progesterone pessaries because I just feel everyone is miscarrying just now and my anxiety is through the roof! I really hope u manage to go again and get your positive result 🤞🏼 xx

@Peanuts6 I tested 5 days after transfer and got my faint positive each day it got darker until test day. X

This is my third IVF cycle, had two fresh cycles previously, and this is frozen. My OTD is Monday (14d post transfer), but Ive been testing since day 7 and just getting bfn. The 2ww is horrible have accepted that Monday will slso be bfn but still taking the meds just in case. With two previous cycles had AF after 7 days, so was hoping this would be successful as no AF this time, but guess thats just the meds. Its so hard waiting 2 weeks and thinking whether each symptom means good news. Im 41 next week, have decided to go for another cycle as not ready to give up yet. Wishing everyone luck and sanity through their 2WW.

Ok. So what do you think?
I’ve just tested at day 12 after a day 5 transfer for the first time. (Naughty I know) Got a positive . Have I tested too early and there’s HCG in my system from the trigger shot. Ahh help me someone more experienced

Transfer date - 14th
Test date due - Sunday 27th (2days early)

@Peanuts6 definitely! It's too late for booster to still be in system.. it's a definite positive! I got faint positives from day 5 after transfer now 4 weeks 5 days x

@Peanuts6 a false positive rarely happens.. more so a false negative and since only 2 days until OTD it's a definite positive 😊 x

Congrats! Definitely a positive trigger shot will have been out of your system for nearly a week!
