Hey ladies! Is anyone starting FET today or soon? This is my first frozen after losing our first fresh at 5w5d in December. Started my estrogen pills today but already worrying as my bleeding seems to have disappeared since this morning! Just looking for some cycle buddies to hand hold!

@winewinner they maybe 2 little beautys in there Smile

WineWinner · 10/03/2019 20:22

I have to call my clinic Tuesday to tell them and for them to arrange a scan which will likely be 2 weeks on Wednesday. My dad and my grandma are both twins but my dads identical so that's not hereditary haha! Do you know when you will get your scan?

Had a wobble today as this is when my HCG dropped last time. Hubby ran out to get tests and they only had weeks ones. It had only been an hour or so since I'd been to the toilet so I'm happy it had risen as it should!

@winewinner that’s really great! When did they say you could test after your FET?
I’m wondering when I can legit do one after Thursday.

WineWinner · 11/03/2019 20:04

Thanks! I'm actually not meant to test until tomorrow haha! Got to call the clinic in the morning but been testing since a week past Friday. How are you feeling?

@winewinner feeling fine, bit tired and fucked off with the old fanny bullet pessaries...but otherwise pretty chipper.
So I could test a week on Thursday? But not likely to be advised to test until 2 weeks after? I’ve never had a BFP in my life, so not sure what that must feel like...

WineWinner · 11/03/2019 21:06

Surprisingly you actually get used to the pessaries! You'll hopefully be on them for ages yet :) Yeh I think most clinics advise 10-14 days wait but I never could! I didn't test positive until 7dpo and the lines were really sow last time which looking back I should have know was an issue. I had never seen a BFP either so just think I got over excited: definitely feeling very pregnant now though! If your transfers this Thursday I would say you should realistically have a positive by the week after. Transfer is a total breeze compared to collection too!

Right - well I've just had my FET...definitely up there as one of the wierdest things I've ever done in my life.

2 embryos in there now, ...doing their thing. Test on the 25th.

Now I've just got to forget about it I guess!

WineWinner · 15/03/2019 12:54

Congrats Park!! It's so surreal isn't it! Almost one day down! How long do you think you'll hold out?

OP posts:
ParksAndRecreation · 15/03/2019 14:27

It's really odd! I've never been pregnant (to my knowledge) and so I've no experience of all the twinges and whatnot. I have to keep reminding myself that there are LIVING THINGS IN ME.

I reckon I'll probably be ok over the next 10 days - it's not that long to wait really...although I might do a cheeky test next Sunday morning...
