My friend did. She had triplets. Was very, very, very hard work. I wouldn't recommend.

hoping2018 · 24/03/2018 16:51

Have they offered you 3 @twinkledag ?! How are you embryos getting on? X

twinkledag · 24/03/2018 16:57

Hi hoping

My cousin had four put back (in the US in the mid noughties). It resulted in the birth of her first son. So one embryo took.

hoping2018 · 24/03/2018 22:35

Wow didn't know they did 3 back (well kind of did but not come across it before) fingers crossed for you xxx

frasier · 24/03/2018 22:59

Fingers crossed for you. Only ever two at a time here and have never known anyone who has had three for 20+ years.

PetraDelphiki · 24/03/2018 23:03

Congratulations Twinkle, I was curious! Do you mind if I ask if your treatment was outside the UK? If that's too nosey tell me to bog off!

Downeyhouse · 05/04/2018 21:31

Congratulations. Do you know how many you are having yet?

BubblesAndSquarks · 05/04/2018 21:32

Congrats that's lovely news! Best of luck with everything.

twinkledag · 05/04/2018 21:38

@JeNeBaguetteRien - I had treatment at Serum in Athens, can't recommend them enough!

Don't know how many as yet, beta levels are suggesting just 1.

hoping2018 · 06/04/2018 03:24

That's fabulous news and good beta levels aren't through the roof! Massive congratulations xxxx

Downeyhouse · 06/04/2018 04:47

Ah good old Serum my lovely nephew is a Serum baby!
He is a real blessing.

Blondeshavemorefun · 06/04/2018 21:10

Congrats. Do you have a 6/7w scan to check how many heartbeatsb/sacs

I had 3 put back in 2014 when I was 41 on my 2nd fresh cycle

All 3 failed sadly

They put back 3 as said wouldn’t be viable to freeze and coz of my
Age

But had success on our 5th cycle and now have dd who was one last week

MadameJosephine · 06/04/2018 21:14

Wow. Congratulations on your bfp OP, I bet you’re dying to know how many are in there!

I knew someone who had 2 put back in the UK as she was 40 and it was their last chance and she had triplets as one split into identical twins!

twinkledag · 06/04/2018 21:24

I'm not sure what is happening as I found out today my HCG levels aren't rising as they should be.

OP posts:
OddBoots · 06/04/2018 21:28

Sorry to hear it about the HCG. I had 3 back with my first surrogacy, I also didn't have the numbers rise as well as they ought to, in the end it looked like 2 (or maybe 3) had implanted but only one held on - he is a teenager now.

twinkledag · 06/04/2018 21:30

Thank you odd and so glad it worked out for you. Do you remember your beta levels?

OP posts:
OddBoots · 06/04/2018 21:40

I am afraid I don't, sorry. I know there are websites you can look up the normal range but I'm not sure that is always helpful as there can be so much variation. I hope your next test shows an increase.

twinkledag · 06/04/2018 21:55

Me too,
