And what was the outcome?

Hopefully it is just a blip and your levels will be headed in the right direction with the next test. When is your next blood test?

twinkledag · 07/04/2018 17:38

Thank you.

My levels were 128 on Tuesday and 135 on Friday.

Is there any hope

I have no idea as it is so long since I had children but I would say as long as they are going up there is hope.

Will keep you in my thoughts.

twinkledag · 07/04/2018 22:07

Thank you. Next test is on Monday.

There might be some hope. If more than one stuck initially, but only one is progressing it would explain why your levels aren’t increasing as expected. I will keep my fingers crossed for you for some positive news.

twinmummyplus1 · 07/04/2018 22:39

Yes I did! Had 3 put back. I was worried. I already had twins. I was over 40. UKCARE centre. But only one was successful. Happy me! Good luck!

Thank you.

Remembered now that a friend had 2 put back - numbers slowed down not doubling.
Was a blip and probably a result of going from 2 sticking to just 1.

The next test the numbers had increased but were still low.

Her DD is now 2!

twinkledag · 08/04/2018 08:15

Thank you, I'm holding on to any hope.

Fingers crossed for good news twinkledag

It makes sense that a failing implantation of one or more would work to reduce levels and a successful implantation would work to increase and that the net result would be to stay the same. I’d say that as long as your numbers haven’t dropped there’s definitely still hope Flowers

tortelliniforever · 08/04/2018 16:24

Good luck!

twinkledag · 08/04/2018 17:35

Thank you so much everyone, knowing you're all rooting for me is so lovely.

Just seen your post. Congratulations on your BFP and fingers crossed for things going to plan and working out xx

I had 3x d5 embryos transferred in November in my first cycle of DE IVF. They transferred 3 because they had 4 embryos at d5 but had had to freeze them as donor eggs matured 4 days earlier than expected so they couldn’t keep them fresh waiting for me to ‘catch up’. By the time they thawed them one wasn’t best quality and it wasn’t deemed safe to refreeze 1 of them after transferring 2.

Unfortunately, that cycle was unsuccessful for us but we plan to go out again in a couple of months for another cycle - hopefully fresh this time.

twinkledag · 08/04/2018 20:29

Good luck for your next cycle @Rememberallball. Which clinic are you with?

Hi @twinkledag, we are having treatment at Gynolife in Nicosia in Cyprus.

twinkledag · 09/04/2018 14:00

Thank you everyone for your good wishes but the levels went down to 55 so not looking good.

My cousin had her treatment at Serum in Athens after 4 failed rounds in the UK the first round at Serum failed. They out back 4 embryos on the 6th round and it was triplets.

twinkledag · 09/04/2018 14:45

Thanks @hoping2018. I think we already knew as my symptoms disappeared.

Feel so gutted.
