Down regulation and period?

Hiya

I'm currently DR on Burselin and still have not had my period. (I'm about four days late than when I was normally due prior to DR)

I wiped and had very light pink bleed (sorry TMI)

Baseline scan is due next Tuesday and worried if I am late in my period that this will delay the scan date.

Maybe I am just panicking for no reason. I very much doubt it I am pregnant as we were advised not to have unprotected sex from day 1 of this cycle.

Confused and worried at mo don't want this to delay the next stage! :(

The 2ww is ok I've just been so nauseous and tired so it's not been easy following any strict diet or anything.. eating what I can when I can. I have lost 6lb since I started IVF though so at least that's something!

I've been off work for like a week and a half now! Not great money wise but it's got to be done, my body is really feeling the effects of those bloody progesterone pessaries hence the tiredness!

Lol thats great re weight loss I've been the opposite oh I can imagine I think it's the whole rollercoaster of it all then the side effects of all these drugs we have had injected in to our bodies. Don't blame you for taking the time out from work. Any plans or you just resting?

Unfortunately I've still got to go work but its part time so it's not too bad. I've got the bank holiday to relax hopefully and I'm back in then.

I only had pcod problem. My egg get in shape even rupture if got injection but face failure yet. Anyone here with same problem?

No I don't have any plans at all, resting up. The mild OHSS knocked me for quite a few days and now I'm just knackered! 😴

This is my first round of IVF too. We started trying two years ago in January with no luck each month, the same as you.
Our situation is classes as unexplained infertility, I have polycystic ovaries (so lots of eggs) but no syndrome so that doesn't affect my chances of pregnancy, so we're still in the dark! I'm almost finished my cycle now, just waiting to test and I'm so nervous. How are you feeling? Have you been referred for IVF?

My doctor didn't referred me for IVF yet. May be she will refer me for IUI first for next month. Today is my 5th day of missed periods. But from last three months I m having periods late like 7-15 days delayed! Let's see what happen!

I've just been so sleepy and tired ! I think it's more to do with the whole experience and the side effects of all the drugs but this wait is difficult! It's like those slow never ending movies!

Don't even talk to me about being tired 😴 It's the bloody progesterone! But if we get pregnant we can look forward to feeling tired for 16 weeks 😆

I'm okay thanks, it's been getting to me the last two days. At the start it was easy to distract but now it doesn't matter what I do, I can't stop thinking about it. It's making me quite down as I'm constantly comparing. One of the girls I met through the FB group is one day behind me in the 2ww and she's been bloated for two days, then yesterday she fainted and was admitted to hospital with OHSS, throwing up and stuff. So immediately I was like, hang on a minute, surely OHSS should have struck with me again?! HcG triggers it you see, and if your pregnant your HcG levels rise (I'm sure you're totally aware) so OHSS is a very good sign. It's stupid I know, like I don't want to be ill.. but of course I'm comparing. It's happened to two other ladies too and I'm just losing my head over it. Silly I know. It's hard not to be cynical when I've only ever had bad luck.. like every month I have had my period, without fail. It's always come. Always. So I'm just expecting it to now! 😣
I've had a lot of twinges today so hoping they are good twinges! Yesterday I was convinced AF was coming.. although the cramps were more severe than AF arriving.. usually what I'd get midway through when it's quite heavy! (Sorry if TMI).

So yep! Who knows!
All I know is this is a bloody rollercoaster. I definitely won't test early though, what a way to add to the rollercoaster! Getting a BFP that disappears by OTD! No thanks.

Omg! Don't take the symptoms the other ladies had as gospel for being pregnant! You simply don't know everyone and each of us may have or may not have similar symptoms but that doesn't necessarily mean you aren't pregnant or that you are !

It is emotionally draining but try not to stress and hopefully the twinges are a good sign! Don't worry about TMI, although I've been tired and sleepy the odd twinges on and off I felt so horny earlier hahah and that just made me laugh more than anything else ! The last thing I was expecting! Have to laugh at the small things otherwise I will drive myself nuts !

I completely understand where your coming from, I'd rather not know until I have to know albeit that it is a struggle

I had ET on Thursday- not sure how the days are calculated. I'm guessing if count from Friday I am 2days post transfer? I have no clue x

Hi, just jumping on this thread due to the original question in the OP as I'm on day 8 of buserelin spray and not had a bleed yet - when did others get theirs? this is my second cycle and last time it was on day 8 of buserelin.

Try not to worry, I was four days late I think I was about day 10/11 of taking the burselin injections.

I feel super low today again. I was so positive for the first 5/6 days, now I'm just lowww. Not long to go though I guess! Just feel like hiding from everyone and everything.. rubbish.

Hi blackcherries. I was on different meds. I used the synarel spray and I think it was around 2 weeks before I got my bleed, and even then it was super light! X

Awwww hugs it's understandable it's such a rollercoaster of emotions and the drugs and everything just rolled in to one humoungous ball and we just don't have the guarantee of what the outcome will be

I just feel up and down too and now I have the dreaded in laws coming to visit tomorrow and all I want is to be left alone too and go in to hibernation!

Hope your feeling better, I think I may just chill and find something to watch on netflix xx

Such a rollercoaster!
I've given my head a bit of a shake and tried to get out and distract again today and it's helped! OH has a lot on his plate at the moment bless him and the stress is getting to us both. So I decided to stop moping and try cheer us both up. So far so good!

I have hibernated pretty much all week, with brief outings to the shop. You've been working! Relax 😊 Netflix is definitely the one!!
Good luck with the inlaws, I'm quite lucky mine are great.. was on the phone to Maggie for an hour and a half today and it's actually cheered me up a little I think! Xxxx

Got OHSS symptoms again so that's a good sign, just hope it doesn't get too painful! X

I am glad that your feeling more positive and boohoo to the OHSS symptoms but if it means you are pregnant then I suppose it's better than not having them. Hope you aren't suffering too much.

My MIL just has a vicious tongue and never has a good word to say. Anyway leaving that aside I think it's over for me I've just wiped and there's blood

I've read that's implantation bleed is brown mine was red I will see how it goes tonight but I've had no pain or anything today other than a slight headache this morning.

Other than that I've been fine until I saw the blood when I wiped

But has it stopped? Xx

If you only had if when you wiped its quite likely to be implantation.. guess the clues in whether it continues to flow or not ☹️ Let me know won't you?

Morning,sorry just went to bed early thinking that's it over, not that I slept much.

I haven't had any pains or cramps but this morning had a back ache and felt like something was gurgling in my stomach just waiting to let go (best way I can explain it)

I got up early was so scared to go to the bathroom and there was nothing ! So then got back to do the pessary went back to bed and then I felt like maybe i have started and panicking again but it was just the pessary mess (thank god).

I've never felt so awful thought I'd let husband down and it's all gone wrong etc

I didn't have implantation bleeding, but I was so terrified for it because it i saw blood I'd have had a meltdown too!! Then I had a meltdown when I didn't see any I was like oh no!!!

I was cheeky and tested this morning.
